A New Covid Treatment?

Original Article

Nearly a year and a half has passed and over 618,000 COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in the U.S. alone and finally the FDA released an emergency use authorization for REGEN-COV; a new drug that was undergoing testing in 2020 (pre-Biden). It is now an early treatment option for primary care physicians. (Snip) The FDA has known from the beginning that early treatment of COVID-19 is essential yet chose to ignore India’s great success with its initial early treatment protocol that initially included HCQ. However, when the delta variant arrived it appeared more resistant to HCQ, so India immediately approved and widely distributed a new more potent

Comments:

Look at the stunning chart to see how many lives could have been saved had we used the Indian protocol for treating covid in its early stages.

Of course they couldn't allow treatment of the virus during the past year. It might have worked and then the plan to steal the election would have been thwarted. Pure evil. People died for pure evil.

Maybe the insurance industry should flex its muscle, get behind a push for therapeutics. Vaccines don't mean you won't get WuFlu or guarantee you'll skate if you do. Treat the damned virus, the benefits are clear as day. Well, except for totalitarians.

The success in India was spurred to save people in the U.S. not so much. It was entirely political Covid-19 being the vehicle to attain what the left wanted, destroy the success of President Trump and power. I wouldn't compare India to the United States motives drove us to this not saving people.

I am so deeply disappointed in the betrayal of our medical community! Everyone understood that tamiflu only worked well on the flu in the first two days, because it kept the virus from multiplying. But now they try to tell us that HCQ and ivermectin don't work based on the studies they have read (studies that involve doctors refusing treatment for days, and waiting until the patient is the ICU and low on oxygen).

Fortunately, I have found a doctor who is actually interested in saving lives, not just kissing the CDC's rear end, and who will provide early treatments if we get sick from this virus. FTA: "India immediately approved and widely distributed a new more potent outpatient COVID kit consisting of ivermectin, doxcycline, and zinc. This less-than-$3 kit quickly reversed the delta variant death trend there. " And India's deaths per million are ONE SIXTH of the US reported deaths. Now, in all probability, India's deaths have been accurately reported and ours at least doubled by the corrupt medical leadership in this country providing a literal cash bounty for each ChiCom virus death, thereby encouraging motorcycle accident deaths and many "died with" deaths to be fraudulently reported as "died of" deaths. But still, even discounting the US numbers by half to account for reporting fraud, India's treatment has them at about one third of the US deaths from the ChiCom virus. I am pleased to know that I have a doc who will provide effective, early treatment if it is required, rather than tell us to 'go home, come back when you are sick enough to be hospitalized'.....when the chances of serious harm or death because of the CDC recommended NO treatment have greatly increased. Unfortunately, what is a "$3 kit" in India costs several hundred dollars here. More big $$$ to Big Pharma.

Standard treatment in the US has been - go home and call us when your lips turn blue. At home early treatment is NOT encouraged. Maybe take some Tylenol - go out in the sun. They are told nothing about taking Vitamin D, Vitamin C, zinc etc. to help their immune systems. They are not told that being obese puts them at high risk. They are not told that melatonin and aspirin are anti-inflammation agents. People have to get IVM from the veterinarians. I have heard of young people being allowed the anti-body treatment if they are sick for more than several days but that is about it. Friends got the virus and were sick for weeks - one lost 20 pounds and the other got long covid - they were never given medication.

"Afghanistan's collapse: Did US intelligence get it wrong?" ABC News asks. "Afghanistan Is Your Fault," barks Tom Nichols at The Atlantic. “Why Afghan Forces So Quickly Laid Down Their Arms,” Politico ponders. The one thing that the Taliban's conquest of Afghanistan is good for is more media hot takes. Afghanistan didn't fall because it never existed. The Afghan army laid down its arms because it also never existed. And not just because many of the 300,000 soldiers were imaginary. Its Pashtun members surrendered to their fellow Taliban Pashtuns, or fled to Iran or Uzbekistan, depending on their tribal or religious affiliations which, unlike Afghanistan, are very real.

The assault on conservative Americans began several decades ago with attacks on traditional principles and values. Belief in individual liberty and responsibility, free enterprise, and the rule of law was willfully conflated with “right-wing extremism.” Pride in America, a desire to protect our borders, and opposition to illegal immigration was branded as xenophobic. Championing the constitutional right to bear arms was decried as gun-crazed zealotry. Belief in religion, natural law, and the sanctity of human life was maligned as backward and anachronistic.

Brian Kolfage, an airman who survived losing both legs and an arm in Iraq, started a fundraiser to build a wall on our Southern border. The project took off, a lot of money flowed in, and the federal government promptly went after Kolfage, accusing him of defrauding those who donated money. This post is not about Kolfage’s guilt or innocence on the charges against him. It is, instead, about allegations that the government is effectively torturing him by denying him access to a medicine that controls the nerve pain resulting from his leg amputations. Wretchard summarizes Biden’s challenging week and notes the challenges are going to get even bigger: Joe Biden is facing simultaneous challenges. The unending border crisis. It’s a dramatic reversal of fortune on all fronts. Biden failed to anticipate either the events or their speed and intensity and there is little to suggest he can handle the second order crises that is coming in its wake.
