The surge of the Taliban and the ongoing collapse of the Afghan government is a tragic development for many Afghans, particularly women and those who have been associated with American forces. It's also a disgrace and significant setback for both the Biden administration and for the U.S. itself. The withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan began with President Trump, who said Americans were tired of an war with no end in sight. He was correct. Americans were tired of seeing our brave young soldiers coming home with their arms, legs, and faces blown off or not coming home at all. What was it for?

We certainly don't have any right to mock the French any more after being run out of Viet Nam and now this. Just let it be known that it has nothing to do with the quality of our brave soldiers and everything to do with incompetent, self serving, cowardly politicians that play political game with them.

Military adventurism is never worth it. Foreign wars whose primary purpose seems to be as test arenas for our weapons is more than political folly - it is a sinful waste of the lives and well-being of our sons and daughters. I.don't care if some call it cowardice. No - it is wisdom - even if flowing from the mouth of Biden. Even a broken clock........

Trump had a plan for the removal of our troops. Biden just removed them.
There is a difference.

If you never had an actual goal in sight, and you managed to stay four times longer than it took to defeat Nazi Germany and Japan in WWII, then your leadership right from the very top is incompetent and should be run out of town.
This debacle may be Joke's politically, but you can lay it right at the doorstep of Idi Amin and his butt buddy Gen. Woketard Milley for the way it was executed. Both should pay with their professional heads. You can also throw in the asshats at State who couldn't coordinate a bake sale.

politics, politics, politics - that's what defeated us in Vietnam - it was the beginning of the communist takeover of our government and johnson was the perfect dupe to allow it to happen, the same as biden is the supremely perfect dunce who will bring about the ascension of the communist party into our government - it won't be long before there is a communist labeled member of the United States House of Representatives and, possibly the Senate - the demcommies had to get rid of kennedy because, of all things, he was anti-communist, which didn't fit the narrative for the demcommies back then, when there were, still, a lot of people who knew a lot about the perils of living under such a political system because they had been taught Civics in junior and senior high school as well as had been through two world wars, one "police action" and area specific conflicts such as Vietnam and Iraq / Afghanistan - the twentieth century will be recorded as the worst period of American History, where the least was accomplished for the citizens of the United States of America and the fundamental significant aspect of that admonition will be that the democrat party was in control of the federal government for a greater part of that period - tells you who our real enemy is, if we take off he blinders and start to see the big picture

The US fleeing its embassy and military packing up and running. Thats just the look we needed to project to the rest of the world. We have been defeated by ourselves and made to look foolish by our President. Thanks Joe. China, Russia Iran, and North Korea are laughing at us.

Somebody should ask BJ this question. While he was sitting in the Oval Office with an adoring Monica sitting on his lap and performing oral acts on him, where was the strategy, BJ, to get bin Laden and get the H out of Afghanistan?

Mr, Hawkins...how much longer should the Americans remained to apparently prop up a government and a security force that was in perpetual collapse? Would the results have been any different six months, a year or two from now? It appears that there is a shortage of "freedom loving" Afghans willing to fight for their Western liberty. So, we should? Not in my book. Blame Biden, and remember the others including Dubya (while he was the GOAT). Obama and Trump - all of whom commanded the continued American occupation of Afghanistan. And now we see the results.

Some day a time will come when helicopters are flying people off the roof of the White House. But where will they land?

1. Wait until the Taliban are in power then bomb them until there are none left.
2. See #1.
