The new meltdown over Governor Ron DeSantis’s management of COVID-19 in Florida could be the most ridiculous one to date. The corporate media is upset that Florida will now count deaths on the date they occur rather than the date they get reported. Some journalists do not understand that the curve will be normalized, but the area under the curve will remain the same.
Georgia’s COVID-19 dashboard allows users to select whether they want to view deaths according to the date they happened or when the state received the report. When you look at the graph by day reported, you can see gaps on weekends,

The most tragic thing about Joe Biden’s cascade of failures is what it reveals about the man and his leadership team as a whole. He never had the capability to anticipate the problems which now overwhelm him and still less appears to possess the capacity to improvise a solution. Reality, so long kept at bay by the media narrative, is now inside his OODA loop and pulling ahead.
What began with the border crisis was joined by the covid outbreak. The trillions of dollars in stimulus turned on him to become inflation. Without a pause Afghanistan came out of the box months ahead of his scenario. Now with stunning speed,

Listening to radical activists, you might be fooled into thinking that the government’s demonstrably illegal eviction moratorium had no downside whatsoever. In fact, the only harm done was to rich, white property owners who could afford to give their tenants a small break in rent during the COVID crisis.
That’s not even close to being true. There are plenty of victims of the government’s eviction moratorium — just like there are winners and losers every time the government chooses to “help” people. The problem comes from those who pretend there are only happy winners when the government prevents commerce from going on.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone.
In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time.
In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims. No hero firefighters, cops, first responders or emergency workers,

The Fulton County election case has a hearing scheduled for September 20. And it will have new respondents added to the case: Ruby Freeman, Keisha Dixon, Wandrea Moss, and Happy Faces Personnel Group.
Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea Shaye Moss were central to the after-hours ballot-counting operation at State Farm Arena during the 2020 election. Now, they’re finally going to face serious questioning as a part of “discovery” proceedings related to a Fulton County election lawsuit.
Freeman is notorious for being suspected of election malfeasance during the 2020 election.

A full 72 percent of young, black New Yorkers are about to be denied service and the right to work in New York City restaurants, gyms, and theaters. The far-left New York Times reported Thursday only 28 percent of black New Yorkers aged 18 to 44 years are vaccinated, “compared with 48 percent of Latino residents and 52 percent of white residents in that age group.” This means that on September 13, when the fascist city’s vaccine passport law goes into effect, 72 percent of black New Yorkers aged 18-44 will be denied service, as well as 52 percent of young Hispanics.CORRECTION*

Gas customers voiced their disappointment and frustration regarding soaring prices in Arlington, Virginia, on Thursday.
“It’s killing me. It takes 60 bucks to fill up the 2020 Camaro and it takes $52 to fill up my 2016 Chevy Malibu,” a man named Tony, who is a Shell customer, told a reporter with Fox News, adding, “It’s crazy.”
Consumer prices grew 5.4 percent in July compared to one year ago, mirroring the prior month’s increase as the fastest since 2008, a recent Department of Labor report said, according to the outlet.
“Gas prices saw a 2.4% increase from June to July,” the article read.
The average price in Virginia, Thursday, was $2.98 per gallon,

It’s “almost” like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Needy) makes stuff up (otherwise referred to as lying) on a regular basis solely to gain attention. To suggest she craves attention is not unlike saying Michael Moore craves a bag of McDonald’s Quarter Pounders with Cheese. In other words, an understatement.
Moreover, to suggest our erstwhile bartender hasn’t milked the ever-loving hell out of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol would be laughable. She first claimed — in AOC-style melodramatic fashion and gripping (made-up) detail, how she feared she and her Democrat colleagues would be murdered by the rioters.
We later learned that AOC wasn’t even in the Capitol building —

While the battle over mask mandates for children is most visible in Florida because Gov. Ron DeSantis has decided to actually fight back, other states are seeing the fights play out at the local level. Parents are showing up to school board meetings to express their displeasure with leaders who continue to spit in the face of objective data when it comes to forcing kids to wear dirty pieces of cloth on their faces.
One of those parents who showed up is The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh, who gave a short speech (the board limits the time) that hit the nail directly on the head.

One of the more interesting recent phenomena in America’s ever-growing “Cold War” with itself is the assertion on both sides of the political aisle that the other side is pursuing a fascist agenda. Who is right? One of the rabid left’s primary arguments contending President Trump to be a fascist surrounded his use of executive orders. It is true that Trump was on pace, should he have won a second term, to exceed President Obama’s total executive order count by a wide margin. But President Biden, having already signed 53 executive orders as of August 6,CORRECTIONS*

It may be 2021 but one elementary in Atlanta is acting like it’s the Jim Crow era based on the principal's policy of segregating children in classrooms based on race.
A black mother whose child attends the Mary Lin Elementary School was shocked to find out the principal implemented this policy last year. She only discovered it was happening when she asked to place her child with a teacher she thought would be a better fit.
"[The principal] said that’s not one of the Black classes, and I immediately said, ‘What does that mean?’ I was confused. I asked for more clarification. I was like, ‘We have those in the school?’

It was a small story on a local news channel’s website, one that may not have attracted much interest. “Pursuit and Standoff in Valley Village Ends Without Suspect in Custody,” read the August 8 headline from CBSN Los Angeles.
This seemed odd. How, I wondered, did the suspect give the cops the slip when he was surrounded and with a police helicopter overhead? I gave the story a click, and here it is, in its entirety:
A vehicle that nearly hit an LAPD cruiser close to the intersection of Lankershim and Burbank Boulevards led police in a pursuit and eventually a standoff at a Valley Village used car dealership.
