Minnesota fourth-graders told to hide
‘equity survey’ questions from parents

A Minnesota fourth-grade student and her mother expressed concern to their local school board after her class was given an "equity survey" and students were told not to tell her parents about the activity. Fourth-grader Hayley Yasgar told "Fox & Friends" on Monday, sitting alongside her mother Kelsey, that the questions were confusing and it made her "very nervous and uncomfortable" when the students were told not to tell their parents. "The survey asked questions that some students didn’t understand. Even after hearing an explanation from their teacher, some still couldn't comprehend the survey questions," The Center Square reported.

If you don't take immediate steps to remove your kids from that school district, you should be charged with child abuse.

#1: it's not the kids who should be removed from the taxpayer-funded school district, it's the arrogant, communist administrators and teachers.

We are supposed to teach our kids to never let someone else ask for secrets to be kept. Any teacher/administrator/board member who asked for such should be summarily fired.

Parents who can't afford to take their children out of Public Schools should get together and assign each parent to spend one morning or afternoon sitting in on the class their child is in. If the school ha nothing to hide, they should not object! What ever happened to "Sunshine" being on everything children are being taught. Voters demand Sunshine in Politics, how about Sunshine for the Superintendent of Schools, the School Board, The Teachers Union and the Teachers in ALL States. Demand to know what your children are being taught. Don't like what you see? Band together and fire all of them!

I was in my son’s elementary school classrooms at least once a week for 7 years. I was a good volunteer parent and stepped up for every event in addition to helping in the classrooms. I ran book fairs, holiday shops, worked in the library once a week. Everything. I even ran my son’s Cub Scout dens. I’m tired just thinking about it now! I was pretty aware and saw things happening and spoke up. Like when Bush Jr was elected and the lib principal refused to remove Clinton’s photo in the office...so we conservative moms complained to the district, got her a Bush photo and framed it for her. Ha ha...she was busted. She also was an alcoholic. They instituted a policy that kids could not bring candy or sweets in their lunchboxes. I would put a small Halloween candy in his lunchbox like my mom used to—only time he had candy. Every day the candy would be in his box when he came home—so I asked and he told me he was “afraid” the lunch monitors (Nazi moms who were really stern) would tell on him! I told him only his Dad and I could dictate his lunch choices. I told him we make the rules, not the teachers. He was shamed in 2nd grade by his teacher who did not approve of his breakfast choice after she surveyed the class! Unreal. Teachers are bullies. Anyway, teach your kids that YOU are in charge and that anything that feels wrong to them needs to be told to YOU.

Members of the House Freedom Caucus on Thursday called for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to boot Reps. The National Police Association on Wednesday slammed Congress’ investigation of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot as a politically motivated "dog and pony show" that has no intention of uncovering the truth of what really happened that day. In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, association spokeswoman Betsy Brantner Smith, a retired police sergeant who describes herself as a conservative, said Congress should hear from the thousands of police officers who were injured during the George Floyd riots last year.

Nancy Pelosi used to point her angry finger at Donald Trump, but she leaves him in the dust when it comes to busting norms, dividing Congress and causing mayhem. If anyone is to blame for the hyper-partisanship in Washington these days, it’s the spiteful House speaker. She behaves more like a Mafia don waging a gang war than a dignified, fair and honest presiding officer, which is what the speaker’s role requires. Pelosi abuses her power in ways that once were unthinkable. Her speakership has been the antithesis of Lincoln’s entreaty to "the better angels of our nature."

Did you know that black people are not going to be allowed to vote in America anymore? At least in states controlled by Republicans? Sounds a bit unlikely, but that’s a conclusion you might have come to if you took seriously what President Joe Biden said in Philadelphia Tuesday. Biden decried Republicans’ proposed changes to election laws as “the 21st-century Jim Crow assault” that tries “to suppress and subvert the right to vote in fair and free elections, an assault on democracy.” This is, to be polite, unhinged nonsense. One of the most obvious misconceptions about liberals today is that they personify tolerance. The Oxford English Dictionary defines tolerance as "the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with. A recent poll by the Survey Center on American Life at the American Enterprise Institute found that Democrats are twice as likely as Republicans to report ending a friendship over a political disagreement (20% versus 10%). That baseline is why CTH said two months ago to watch for the moment when the White House credits Trump with the vaccine, because that’s the moment when: (1) the vaccine was going to be identified as dangerous; and/or (2) reports would show the vaccine did not work. Today the White House credited President Trump with the vaccine:….And right on cue, the late-evening reporting indicates that tomorrow the CDC will announce the vaccine doesn’t work (against the Delta variant).
