Residents and business owners rattled by a wave of vandalism, stunt driving and gunfire in Uptown Minneapolis hope they can begin reclaiming a sense of peace now that crews have cleared a makeshift memorial garden that some saw as a magnet for criminal activity.(Snip)About 30 protesters converged again on the area Friday night, blocking the intersection at 31st Street and Girard Avenue, chanting "all these cops have got to go," according to video posted on Facebook. Bystander photos show police arresting some of the protesters to clear the intersection. The surge in Uptown crime and vandalism that has come with some of the protests is testing

End-stage stupidity proudly on display. FTA: "We're totally all about the Black Lives Matter movement," said Elga Tinger, who moved to the area with her husband in 2015, "but what they're doing over there is not really about that—they're just being destructive." For Tinger and her husband, Jake Dhillon, Uptown seemed like a "sleepy" and "easily accessible" urban neighborhood when they moved in. The had lived in cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta and Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. Yet it was in Uptown where she encountered unsettling safety issues like burning dumpsters on her way home from work. Now they are considering another move. "I thought we would move to Minneapolis and it would be safe," said Tinger, 45. "This area is just not safe."

You can't fix stupid. If you think blm really cares about black lives you're a stupid, uniformed moron. They are a Marxist group that would like to change the USA to a USSR or CCP system of government that will subjugate anything or anybody that disagrees with them.
PERIOD!

Liberal idiocy on full display. Clearing the makeshift memorial garden will have zero effect on the lawlessness in Minneapolis. Clearing the government of liberal idiot leadership would be far more effective.

Actually #2 BLM doesn't "like" to change the USA. The little Marxists are PAID to, think Soros and all of Patrice's new houses. As for Minneapolis, you have dropped to the bottom of my visit list although you were never very high on it anyway. Go ahead. abolish your police. It would almost be entertaining if people weren't dying because of it.

If you support Marxist, racist BLM, you are supporting anarchy, violence and crime.
Enjoy it. Reaping what you have sown.
Hard to find any sympathy.

How can you argue with 'We're totally all about the Black Lives Matter movement," said Elga Tinger, who moved to the area with her husband in 2015,
They made their bed now they have to smoke it - but it will be someone else's fault.

Minneapolis is learning again that the only thing that is protecting them from looting and shakedowns by the mob are cops, unless they want to go back to DIY. The authorities have spent the money, so that is a problem.

Articles like this are almost comical. Just can't seem to identify the elephant in the room stomping all over everything. Eternally searching for the subtle yet unidentifiable root cause. Makes my head hurt...

What in mortal he** did they expect? When you allow criminals to run wild in your city, looting and burning you are going to end up with a third world hellhole. Actions have consequences, people. Wake. Up.

#1, that says it all, especially that last sentence.
It should be something every Republican candidate running in 2022 should commit to memory, and be able to say at every campaign rally.
Think about it, she used to live in Haiti, and doesn't find Minneapolis safe.

I'd have moved the day the riots started, never to return. Why these people and businesses are still there is a mystery. It will only get worse.

The enlightened locals stood as one with the communist rioters in one of the metro area's most popular shopping and dining corridors, but now they're sorta kinda like over it, you know, and are making plans to move to where it's "safer." Bend over, here they come.
