My brother-in-law, who spent 20 years in the San Diego Police Department as a cop before retiring to Idaho, said he used to ask for patrol assignments in poor neighborhoods over rich ones.
"The poor people know the rules," he explained. What he couldn't stand were rich, entitled jackasses from places like La Jolla, giving untold complaints, threats, snowflakery, and rank-pullings, and worse over their traffic tickets.
So here's what he was talking about, according to a video (snip) She's sanctimonious, whiny, garrulous, argumentive, constantly deflecting the issue about her own texting while driving, and soon slides into snowflakery about her personal safety and personal property

Now that genetically modified mosquitos have been unleashed upon Florida in a "groundbreaking" experiment, it might be time to become familiar with the upcoming gene-editing world — especially since it will more than likely become part of the science and medical world (snip) By now, Americans know much about the push for societal COVID vaccines. These are deadly vaccines. They are experimental, and many utilize gene-editing techniques. It remains a mystery as to how the human body will react long-term to them. Because of herd immunity, the real efficacy of these therapies is a matter of pure speculation.

Lots of powerful people want you to stay scared about COVID, even as the toll in terms of death and hospitalization continues to plummet in the United States and other advanced countries. (snip) The delta variant is even more transmissible than earlier versions of the virus, but the other side of that coin is that it is weaker, less lethal. (snip) In fact, greater transmissibility of a milder variant helps natural herd immunity, rendering potential hosts nearly immune to further viral infections. (snip) This is just disgraceful! Joe Biden claimed that the delta variant is "deadlier."

Everywhere other than in Big Media newsrooms, Americans speak openly of President Joe Biden's cognitive decline and wonder whether he can last out his four-year term. If he cannot last, there are certain things we can be confident will happen and other things about which we can only speculate. The latter will be much more intriguing. (snip) If Biden leaves office when the Democrats still have leverage, that's when the fun begins. The competing power blocs within the party will stage a quietly vicious knife fight for that second spot. Knowing Harris's weaknesses, they understand its potential.

The push to vaccinate every last American, regardless of a rational risk-reward analysis continues unabated. The latest-- and most sinister-- example was provided by the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the organization that makes possible the realization of “life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.”
The nonprofit’s president and CEO, Richard Davis, recently announced via video that the charity will henceforth only grant wishes to terminally ill children-- and their family members—if they have all been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Davis noted that Make-a-Wish would require the critically ill children-- as well as any participants from the family-- to be two weeks past full vaccination

Technically speaking, Donald Trump is a loser. After all, it’s Biden who’s occupying the Oval House. But let’s not get entangled in technicalities. Forty-one percent of Americans believe that Trump actually won the election and that Biden’s ascension was the result of fraud, with over half of Republicans holding that belief. And as Biden has managed, remarkably swiftly, to destroy the border, the economy, the military, education, and more, worried patriots are redoubling their support for Trump. So, when Trump, the man who didn’t win, calls a rally, thousands upon thousands of people show up. And the people who attended the rally in Wellington, Ohio, got vintage Trump.

As the Marxist revolution oozes forward, I occasionally wonder what will happen to the useful idiots when the commies seize absolute power in this once great Republic. I believe that most AT readers are familiar with the term, but for those who need a brief refresher, a useful idiot, as defined by Wikipedia, "is a derogatory term for a person perceived as propagandizing for a cause without fully comprehending the cause's goals, and who is cynically used by the cause's leaders." In my opinion, this definition can be applied to a majority of the young, brainwashed radicals who have no idea about the true history of Marxism

During the last year and half it’s become obvious to anyone whose head is not in the sand that America has been under assault on multiple levels from within. (snip) Many of my acquaintances and friends -- from Eastern and Slavic Europe and Russia, Latin America, and Southeast Asia -- have commented that what they see going on in America is a fairly classic communist-type subversion. They believe that the takedown of America is well advanced and now poses a real threat to continuation of the United States as a free nation. My immigrant and refugee friends point out that the communist playbook is really quite easy to understand.

The big headline Thursday was that Biden and the Senate reached a deal on infrastructure. (snip) Joe Biden and Kamala Harris proved that their biggest campaign lie might have been their promise to return the White House to “normal.” (snip) The video that’s making the rounds cuts off the question asked of Biden, which was apparently an ordinary one regarding how much money went to COVID relief. What matters is Biden’s response: With his eyes bugging out, Biden leaned into the microphone and, in the voice of an obscene phone caller gloating about his organ size, announced that he had gotten $1.9 trillion COVID relief.

Vice President Kamala Harris had a disastrous trip to Guatemala. (snip) Because Harris has a habit of laughing at inappropriate times, it has been suggested that she suffers from Psuedobulbar Affect, a condition causes uncontrollable laughing or crying at inappropriate times. I disagree. I believe that what causes her giggling like an adolescent teenage girl is insecurity, a lack of confidence, and incompetence.
Word has leaked that the White House is having buyer's remorse about having picked her for the V.P. spot. My question is, why is everyone surprised?

George Floyd’s death one year ago caused a national level of rioting and vandalism and even deaths. It also put something called “excited delirium” in the spotlight. George Parry at The American Spectator, Andrea Widburg at American Thinker, and Jack Cashill (at both venues) all have written insightfully about the political, scientific, and legal issues related to the death of Mr. Floyd and the prosecution of Officer Chauvin. The bottom line, if one seriously considers the medical evidence, is that Derek Chauvin did not murder George Floyd.
I have done a video demonstration with two male subjects that shows that there is no way that Officer Chauvin killed Mr. Floyd

Tucker Carlson is the left's "current Bogeyman No. 2, after Donald Trump," observes J. Peder Zane in a commentary at Real Clear Politics, and I think he is right. (snip) The New York Times has decided it is fine to out a confidential source — provided his name is Tucker Carlson. Its media columnist, Ben Smith, reports that the Fox News star is "the go-to guy for sometimes-unflattering stories about Donald J. Trump and for coverage of the internal politics of Fox News (not to mention stories about Mr. Carlson himself)."
Breaking a cardinal rule of journalistic ethics, Smith identifies Carlson as one of his own "off-the-record" sources.
