Ahmed is a Pakistani immigrant, a faithful Muslim, and until recently, a financial consultant to Seattle’s high-tech sector. But when he reached me by phone in October 2020, he was just one more frightened father. Days earlier, he and his wife had checked their 16-year-old son into Seattle Children’s Hospital for credible threats of suicide. Now, Ahmed was worried that the white coats who had gently admitted his son to their care would refuse to return him. “They sent an email to us, you know, ‘you should take your ‘daughter’ to the gender clinic,’” he told me.

Comments:

These stories should scare the pants off any normal parent, in fact any normal person at all. Disturbed teens are being almost literally stolen from their families under cover of dodgy laws passed by freaks in state legislatures. This has to stop.

This is a must read for everyone, especially parents of teens and preteens in liberal states. It is mind blowing the amount of control people/virtual strangers can take over vulnerable children and families during troubling times. I cannot imagine my child being taken from me by strangers at homes who “know better”. This country is becoming so, so sad.

My answer would be simple, "The whole family is leaving the state, our child is coming with us, bye".

Reading this reminded me of Greta Thunberg, another child on the autism spectrum, who fixates on things. I can’t begin to imagine how difficult this must be for the parents and how agonizing for the child. But to introduce gender change at that age is pure child abuse IMHO.

Here in SW Ohio a few years back a judge removed a teenage child from the custody of her parents because they refused to give permission for her to be given cross sex hormones. (IIRC) The child became a ward of the state. I have no idea if the clinic followed up on her after they 'treated' her. As noted by the father here - the clinic was out to make money. There are activists running these 'gender clinics' and they are the high priests & priestesses of 'transition' - in other words a cult. About 15 years ago there were only about 8 clinics now there are 300. The 'doctors' give a false promise that the 'victim/patient' will be happy once he/she has transitioned. The kids believe it and often so do the parents. It is a sign of the times that people have fallen for such a lie. Gender dysphoria is real but ever so rare - the clinicians who are honest say that is has 100 years of documentation. It more often occurs in boys and most importantly is usually resolved by the time the kid is 23. Giving puberty blockers to a kid really 'n truly stops their development - height, weight, hormones, bones, brain etc. Then if testosterone is given to a girl her voice deepens (after 6 months that is permanent), she is 4 times more likely to have a heart attack than a man & after while she becomes incontinent (as estrogen is needed to keep all that part of the body working well). After 5 years she will need a hysterectomy as that blessed organ will have atrophied & become prone to infections & cancer. A boy given estrogen has a greater danger of having a stroke etc. That common sense & decency should be thrown out the window is a tragedy. God help us all.

Letters from a D.C. Jail 7 replies

This week, five Republican senators sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding his office’s handling of January 6 protesters. The letter revealed the senators are aware that several Capitol defendants charged with mostly nonviolent crimes are being held in solitary confinement conditions in a D.C. jail used exclusively to house Capitol detainees. Joe Biden’s Justice Department routinely requests—and partisan Beltway federal judges routinely approve—pre-trial detention for Americans arrested for their involvement in the January 6 protest. This includes everyone from an 18-year-old high school senior from Georgia to a 70-year-old Virginia farmer with no criminal record. It is important to emphasize that the accused have languished for months

I dread Memorial Day. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that I don’t honor our military heroes who died for their country. To the contrary, I hold them in the highest esteem. (Snip) Here’s the cause of my anguish. My father, Wesley L. Smith, died for his country from the health consequences of military service. But his country not only denied that he made the ultimate sacrifice, but VA administrators lied about what happened to avoid paying my mother duly owed benefits. Many participants in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots are being held in solitary confinement in Washington, D.C.'s city jail, a situation that's drawing scrutiny from Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bob Casey and the American Civil Liberties Union. The Department of Justice has charged 510 individuals in connection with the Jan. 6 breach, which began when supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol with the intent of trying to stop the certification of Electoral College votes for Joe Biden as president. After Jan. 6, Washington, D.C., jail officials decided that all Capitol riot detainees be held in “restrictive housing” as a safety measure for the accused. However, the accused found

President Joe Biden has never been accused of having a gilded tongue. In fact, he once referred to himself as a "gaffe machine." But after a meandering speech in summer 2015, his top aides let loose their frustrations in a private communication to the then-vice president's son Hunter. "He just couldn't end the speech," senior White House aide Gregory Schultz exclaimed to the VP's youngest son, in apparent disbelief. The newly surfaced email, recovered by Just the News from a laptop Hunter Biden left behind at a Delaware repair shop and later turned over to the FBI, provides a rare glimpse into the Biden inner circle's efforts to corral the oft-bumbling, gaffe-prone speechmaker.

What if "the narrative" is completely wrong? The question hit me in April as I read an AT post by Thomas Lifson that democrat pollsters "admit 'major errors' as they struggle to survive evidence that polls are now worthless." For me, evidence that "the narrative" isn't accurate came Saturday afternoon in the beautiful sunshine of Northern Michigan off the Lake Michigan coast as thousands of Michigan deplorables braved 90-degree temperatures and assembled to support an audit of Michigan's November election. The event was pure "Trumpicana" as even the inflatable Trump seemed to dance to "YMCA" in the background. Whatever his future, President Trump has come to personify powerful revolt

This week much has been made of the thousands of emails to and from Dr. Anthony Fauci. These were obtained as a result of Freedom of Information Act requests. In my view, it’s not only that the emails prove what we all knew -- Dr. Fauci is a phony -- it’s the enormous national security failure and coverup that should concern us. The Fauci Emails There’s a caveat from Dr. Jeffrey Satinover on the emails: 1. Almost ALL of the emails are from others to Fauci with his reply. There are very few, if any (I will have to review) initiated by him. It is very unlikely this represents his full correspondence using

The defector has direct knowledge of special weapons programs in China, including bioweapons programs, those sources say. The information provided to RedState corroborates and clarifies Thursday evening’s reporting by journalist Adam Housley. Sources say DIA leadership kept the defector within their Clandestine Services network to prevent Langley and the State Department from

Many of the greatest crimes in history have been perpetrated by governments. This isn’t limited to global, civilization-sized crimes like wars, mass exterminations, concentration camps, and purges. Even the relatively modest FBI murders at Ruby Ridge and Waco, at once coordinated and chaotic, are hard to conceive being carried out by ordinary citizens—even citizens armed with evil AR-15s. Massive and unprecedented central power would come from the District of Columbia and be exercised by upper- and middle-level bureaucrats. It would unleash government regulation and meddling unseen since FDR signed the National Industrial Recovery Act.

Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland is attempting to put a chill in the air over states deciding to audit the 2020 elections.Speaking on Friday regarding what the left misleadingly terms “voting rights” (all eligible adult U.S. citizens already have voting rights), Garland issued a not-so-subtle threat to states that are doing election audits.(Tweet/Video) The Department of Justice’s threat is a red flag to states that the federal government is poised to intervene if states conduct election audits. This should be prompting Republican-led legislatures to begin doing election audits immediately and passing voter integrity laws.

New Jersey—After an outcry at a raucous public meeting over a previous decision to rename Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples Day, the board of education at a New Jersey school district decided to strip all holiday names off of the school calendar. So holidays like Thanksgiving will not be on the calendar and will simply be called "day off". Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur were also stripped off the calendar by the move.
