Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the embattled former Republican conference chair, during an interview Wednesday with the Wall Street Journal’s “Women, Power and Equity” event, said she sees her “re-election bid as a referendum on the future of the Republican Party.”
The Wyoming Republican said voters are “potentially facing a choice between what she sees as traditional conservative values and loyalty to former President Donald Trump.” She said she already sees the upcoming 2022 midterm election as being a difficult one for her.
Cheney was ousted by her party from leadership earlier this month for having repeatedly criticized former President Donald Trump for his past statements on the 2020 election.

President Joe Biden mistakenly blamed the “Tuskegee airmen” training program for fueling black American hesitancy about the coronavirus vaccine.
“By the way, many of the older members of that community had memories of experimentation on black Americans that were not told about, like what happened, with the, you know, Tuskegee airmen and all those tests,” Biden said. “And so there was a great reluctance.” [Video]
Biden spoke about vaccine hesitancy in the black community during an interview with YouTube star Jackie Aina.
But the Tuskegee Flight Training Program was focused on testing and proving the ability of black Americans to fight in combat, not medical experimentation.

America can keep Meghan and Harry as they are not wanted back in Britain after being too lazy to fulfil their duties, said Nigel Farage.
Appearing on Stuart Varney’s Fox Business programme on Tuesday, the Brexit leader was asked whether the British would the Duke of Sussex back, “please”.
“No, he’s yours I’m afraid. He’s our most recent export to the USA,” Farage joked.
“I don’t want to see him back in the United Kingdom, but I have a feeling that before too long Americans will see through this victimhood story as well,” he predicted.

Funny ol’ world . . .
I dashed off my last piece for American Greatness in a single, sleep-deprived frenzy of frustration (three decades in the making) after a long night of musical rehearsals. As I pushed “send,” I could barely remember what I’d written. Sixty seconds later, I was asleep.
To my astonishment, “The Republican Party Sucks” wound up as American Greatness’s top feature article that week. Positive comments began flooding my inbox. Thousands reposted it. Over 50,000 people read it per day. Steve Bannon called me a few days after it came out to tell me how much he liked it.

Just four weeks ago, I wrote about the rising resistance to the woke craze and critical race theory, and much has transpired since then.
Here in California, even Disneyland has not been spared the wrath of the crazies. On May 7, the incomparable Christopher Rufo reported that “The Wokest Place on Earth” now includes employee trainings on systemic racism, white privilege, white fragility, and white saviors, and also launched racially segregated “affinity groups” at the company’s headquarters.
But just five days later, Rufo disclosed that Disney “has removed its entire antiracism program from the company’s internal portal, effectively scrubbing it out of existence.” Rufo added,

Okay, let’s say out loud what the regime doesn’t want said – there was no insurrection.
At least not in Washington, D.C. Now, in places like Portland and Seattle, there were and are insurrections, actual ongoing occupations of actual territory by actual criminals where the government is expressly told it’s not in charge and to stay out. And, of course, the government tolerates those insurrections. It does so because the Democrats in charge – this nonsense never happens in Florida with DeSantis in charge – perceives the actual insurrectionists as political allies, so they do nothing. Some insurrections, it appears, are more insurrectiony than others.

New findings reported Tuesday in a University of Louisville study challenge what has been the prevailing belief that mask mandates are necessary to slow the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus. The study notes that "80% of US states mandated masks during the COVID-19 pandemic" and while "mandates induced greater mask compliance, [they] did not predict lower growth rates when community spread was low (minima) or high (maxima)." Among other things, the study—conducted using data from the CDC covering multiple seasons—reports that "mask mandates and use are not associated with lower SARS-CoV-2 spread among US states."

This was bound to happen. I’m sort of shocked it didn’t happen sooner, but here we are with the triggered left-wingers tossing around lawsuits like candy because they found something offensive. That thing was a phrase Donald Trump used to describe the coronavirus. It’s accurate. It’s not offensive, but that’s not the point. This is about the Left’s unhealthy and unhinged obsession with the former president. Even when he’s gone, he’s facing criminal investigations into his business dealings, but this one deals with two words: China virus. Yes, Trump is being sued because he said that (via the Hill):

President Joe Biden has nominated David Chipman, a longtime gun control advocate, to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), an agency that plays a key role in gun regulations. Chipman, who served as an ATF special agent for 25 years, left to work with former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) at her gun restriction organization Giffords.
During his Senate confirmation hearing on Wednesday, Chipman confirmed his support for a ban on AR-15 rifles. He also suggested he still supports banning “assault weapons,” and he presented an absurdly broad definition of “assault weapon.”
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) pressed Chipman on his public support for an AR-15 ban.

NPR has done an in-depth investigative series exposing a child-welfare money-making scheme that targets children receiving Social Security benefits for the enrichment of social services. This is a pattern that I’ve seen repeat during my years investigating CPS/DSS and other child-welfare offices around the country.
NPR reported:
The Marshall Project and NPR have found that in at least 36 states and Washington, D.C., state foster care agencies comb through their case files to find kids entitled to these benefits, then apply to Social Security to become each child’s financial representative, a process permitted by federal regulations.

If you’re a male and you “identify” as female, the woke amongst us will rush to affirm your identity, and punish those who don’t validate your delusion and call them bigots.
Well, some Michigan residents, tired of COVID-19 restrictions, are using that same logic to be able to ditch their face masks by saying they “identify as fully vaccinated” despite not being so.
Residents of Luce County, Mich., a county of 6,600 people where only three people have died from COVID-19, are giving local health officials headaches from their clever tactic.

The family of George Floyd met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, urging him to work for and sign police reform legislation.
“If you can make federal laws to protect the bird, which is the bald eagle, you can make federal laws to protect people of color,” Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd, told reporters after the meeting.
Prompted by their legal team, the Floyd family raised their fists in protest as Floyd’s seven-year-old daughter Giana said ,”Say his name!”
“George Floyd!” the group said together.

LOVE it!! In fact, I've already seen a t-shirt with this phrase on it!
