The United State’s capital is nearly dry of gasoline Friday morning while states such as North Carolina and Virginia are also struggling, according to recent data.
According to GasBuddy data posted at 9:33 a.m. ET, D.C. is experiencing an 88 percent outage, with North Carolina at 67 percent, and Virginia at 50 percent.
The Colonial Pipeline’s recent ransomware attack and ensuing concerns about gas prices have contributed to a fuel shortage on the East Coast, Breitbart News reported Tuesday.
“Colonial Pipeline, a critical source of fuel on the East Coast of the United States, shut down its operations on Friday after the cyberattack, prompting concern

The Biden administration seems to be proud of its inflation surge, brought on by low interest rates and monster government spending.
How else to explain this?
According to the White House transcript, Psaki, answering a reporter's inflation question, said:
Obviously, we’ve seen, over the last couple of days — to your point — some reaction to the CPI numbers that came out just yesterday. And, you know, our view on that is it reflects the reality of an economy that’s rapidly turning back on because of a successful economic strategy.
And if you dig into the data, there are a couple of

As we reported yesterday, Joe Biden was asked about whether he had been briefed that Colonial Pipeline had paid a ransom.
According to the report, they paid a $5 million dollar ransom within hours of facing a cyber attack on Friday from a ransomware group. The report also claimed that the government was aware that they’d paid the ransom. But we were not told about it for days.
Biden refused to answer the question, pausing for a moment and then saying he had “no comment” on the issue. Biden also made a strange comment when asked whether Vladimir Putin was involved in the attack. Asked if he was

The remarkable thing about the multiple crises facing Joe Biden is how quickly they’ve multiplied and worsened. These include, in no particular order:
the Mexican border problem;
the expanding war between Israel, Hamas, and possibly with Iran;
the gasoline supply disruption stemming from the cyberattack on the Colonial fuel pipeline;
economic trouble and warnings of impending inflation.
These sprung up in the first days of his term with an abruptness and progression that has taken pundits by surprise. The administration must have anticipated eventual problems would arise but not so soon nor from so many directions.
The New York Times writes that the fighting in Israel caught Biden on the hop.

According to Bush, who serves as Texas Land Commissioner, Cheney should have been less focused on former President Donald Trump and more concerned with President Joe Biden and the advancements his administration has made.
“So instead of training fire on the President, she really should have been firing on Biden and that agenda…that’s what you want out of your leadership, & unfortunately…she didn’t rise to the challenge,” Bush added.
Bush is also the nephew of former President George W. Bush, who worked alongside Cheney’s father, former Vice President Dick Cheney.

A new study found that while Americans are streaming television now more than ever, one in three of them say they are ready to drop Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime because they find their original programs to be subpar.
A survey of 2,000 Americans, conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Tubi, found that 70 percent of Americans say they’re watching more TV now than at the start of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, according to a report by Study Finds.
The report added that one in three Americans, however, admitted to watching whatever was trending — not because the content was good, but because there was nothing else to do.

Riddle me this: Why would Republicans fall for the Democrats’ age-old ploy of pressuring them into working on “bipartisan” legislation that will only advance the Democratic agenda and damage the nation?
Indeed, what’s the point in the GOP puffing up its chest about ousting Liz Cheney from her House leadership position if they’re just going to turn around and behave like never-Trumpers by caving on President Biden’s agenda? Why would they play footsy with the most militantly leftist party in American history? That can’t possibly be good for America, nor can it be good for their political fortunes, as voters don’t want them to be spineless wimps.

Last year, a website operator for the Florida Department of Health, Rebekah Jones became the liberal media’s new Michael Avenatti when she started claiming she was fired for disobeying orders to manipulate COVID data. And since she was attacking Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, CNN Prime Time host Chris Cuomo eagerly promoted her claims as it provided a distraction from his brother, Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D-NY) own COVID data manipulation. That was, until he dropped her once she got arrested.
Jones was back in the news Thursday after National Review's Charles C. W. Cooke published a brutal takedown of her claims, actually detailing how and why she was fired.

Child care is infrastructure, according to Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Health-care aides for seniors are infrastructure, say Democratic activists. “Anti-racism” is infrastructure, we’re told. But these things aren’t infrastructure; they’re just things Democrats want funded with taxpayer money.
You know what’s actually infrastructure? Bridges and pipelines. On that front, we’re not doing so well.
The shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline this week demonstrated that our actual infrastructure is vulnerable and that our lives can be disrupted quickly when it fails. Hackers, undeterred by the FBI and Homeland Security officials who are supposed to be protecting critical infrastructure

Exclusive: HBO has scrapped this week’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher after the comedian tested positive for Covid-19. Maher, who is vaccinated and asymptomatic, tested positive during the premium cable network’s weekly PCR testing ahead of the show.
It is a blow for the late-night show, which was set to entertain astrophysicist and StarTalk podcaster Neil deGrasse Tyson as the top-of-show interview guest, and World War Z author Max Brooks and Hardcore History podcast host Dan Carlin as panelists.

The CDC has finally basically admitted that if you’re vaccinated, you don’t need to be wearing a mask. Now this has seemed fairly logical for awhile to anyone who understands science. But apparently not to the Biden team, who kept wearing masks despite everyone being vaccinated. As we reported earlier today, CNN asked White House adviser Andy Slavitt why they kept doing this, seemingly sending mixed signals to the American people? Slavitt’s response? Biden is a “very important man.” Alrighty now. So because he’s so “important,’ he’ll just keep doing something that makes no sense? What kind of sense does that make?

More scientists are calling for a deeper investigation into the origin of the coronavirus as key questions about where the pathogen came from remain unanswered.
In a letter published Thursday in the academic journal Science, an international group of 18 prominent biologists, immunologists and others called for a new and truly independent investigation of all possible origins of the virus, including the theory that a laboratory accident released the coronavirus in Wuhan, China. A full World Health Organization (WHO) report into the origins of the virus was published in March
