SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Jesuit priest who presided over an inaugural Mass for President Joe Biden has resigned his position as president of Santa Clara University in Northern California, college officials said, after an investigation found he engaged in inappropriate, alcohol-fueled conversations with graduate students. The Rev. Kevin O’Brien, at the direction of Jesuit officials, has begun a therapeutic outpatient program to address personal issues, including alcohol and stress counseling. He had been president of Santa Clara University since July 2019 and was placed on leave in March. (Snip)O’Brien has known the Bidens for about 15 years; they met when he was serving at Georgetown University, another Jesuit college.

Comments:

O’Brien has had a strong connection with Biden for years. He undoubtedly knows Hunter well, as Hunter graduated from Georgetown. Article goes on to say that organization SNAP (Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests) is calling for the Jesuits to investigate his behavior at other postings. This sounds like a story that is being downplayed by AP...

Can you imagine if a minister or priest that counseled President Trump one time had later gotten a speeding ticket?!?!?!?!? It would have been front-page news for 5 days. There is no such thing as impartial "journalism" any more!!!!!

This commie pope is a jesuit. After years of watching this order and how they operate I have come to these conclusions: 1) they are not a religious order but a bunch if SJW. 2) have a very poor understanding of Jesus and don't believe in the Universal. Apostolic Church. 3) money is their god. Just my opinion, so it fits right in with the church of Xbin and Piglosi.

Sadly, this man is just the type of priest that the Biden family would choose for a spiritual director. I also sadly have to concur with #3. I have known individual Jesuits who were dynamically holy men, but the order is a whole different story. My Dad loved the Jesuits because of his retreat experiences. He was a LA policeman from the late 40's to the early 70's. The Jesuits had a retreat house near the Santa Anita racetrack, another place of pilgrimage for Dad, and they offered twice-yearly retreats especially designed for police officers. He often credited those retreats as keeping him from alcoholism and blowing his brains out like many of his peers. He always told us to go to the Jesuits if you had a difficult spiritual situation. It proved true for him. After my mother died he began to keep company with the widow of one his partners. Both Catholic they wanted to marry, but she would lose her police widow's pension. They would not consider co-habitation, so they went to the retreat house. The priest explained that there is a difference between the Sacrament of Marriage and the state's recognition. There was no impediment, legal or spiritual, for him to perform the Sacrament without them getting a civil license. They were married right then and there. They were together for the last nine months of my Dad's life. So, in my heart I know there are good Jesuits.

The Bible warns us about false teachers. Of course, that means someone will actually pick up their Bible and read it. Sounds like people find earthly ways not to read their Bible. Might I suggest a study Bible!

The Jesuits have also brought us Father James Martin who routinely preaches social doctrine that is directly contrary to the Bible (in my opinion), and yet he is still a priest in good standing. It is frustrating and disheartening .

The priest should have been de-frocked for presiding over a special mass for a supporter and celebrator of abortion on demand. Even suggesting that someone consider getting an abortion is grounds for excommunication.

So many of the wayward priests plied their victims with alcohol before abusing them. I wonder if this priest was doing the same and it is being covered up.

Members of the 1776 Commission, which President Joe Biden disbanded on his first day in White House, are reportedly set to meet again with a renewed focus on combating the teaching of U.S. history based on the Marxist critical race theory. The advisory commission was established by the Trump administration in November 2020 to celebrate and promote the principles enshrined in the nation’s founding documents. It is commonly seen as a response to The New York Times’ controversial 1619 Project, which argues that the United States was founded as, and remains today, a racist nation. Dateline—The State of Columbia (née, The District of Columbia, a.k.a. “The Swamp”) By all accounts, Joe Biden wasn’t expected to be the 21st century’s reincarnation of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Senator Biden wasn’t cerebral; stolidly toed his party’s line; smeared Republican Supreme Court nominees; ended up on the wrong side of nearly every major foreign policy decision; and had a penchant for off-color and highly offensive remarks as well as an affinity for plagiarism, which sank his 1988 presidential bid. Even when he was selected to be vice president (an early indication of then-Senator Barack Obama’s decision-making prowess), Biden’s singular achievement was milking his contacts with our nation’s friends and foes to

Palestinian terrorists are bombing their own people, as 700 of the rockets fired from Gaza by Hamas and other terror groups land in Gaza. The explosions kill innocent Palestinian civilians whose deaths are subsequently blamed on Israel. The Israeli Defense force concluded Wednesday that a Palestinian family of 8 in the Beit Hanoun area was killed by a Palestinian misfired rocket, not an Israeli airstrike which was initially reported. The Associated Press reported: Israeli military officials say a mysterious explosion that killed eight members of a Palestinian family on the first day of the current round of fighting in the Gaza Strip was caused by a misfired Palestinian rocket, not an Israeli airstrike.

The attempt of America’s ruling class to convict 455 persons of “armed insurrection”—i.e. of waging war against the United States, a species of treason—for protesting insufficient scrutiny of the 2020 election on January 6 in the Capitol, while at the same time it excuses and even cheers the burning and looting of courthouses, police stations, and downtowns all over America, is not the exercise of a “double standard.” The people in and out of government who do this are not corrupt. Instead, acting as part of the regime—the oligarchy—they are replacing the American republic and waging war to crush its remains. The sooner Americans realize that we are being governed

A Michigan judge on Tuesday threw out a case challenging the 2020 election in Antrim County. 13th Circuit Court Judge Kevin Elsenheimer, a Republican nominee, ruled that plaintiff William Bailey, a resident of Antrim County, had received the relief he sought after he filed the lawsuit last year following the election. Bailey was seeking an independent audit of Antrim County’s election but Elsenheimer decided that the February risk-limiting audit conducted by county clerks, who reviewed a random sample of some 18,000 ballots, was sufficient under state law. “There is no right either in the constitutional section or the statue for the independent audit that Mr. Bailey seeks,” Elsenheimer told the court.

A critical race studies and ethnic studies professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder says Americans wondering why Black citizens commit anti-Asian hate crimes have an answer: “White supremacy.” The educational watchdog Campus Reform spotlighted the commentary of Jennifer Ho, which preceded President Biden’s newly signed legislation aimed at combatting hate crimes against Asian Americans. “Anti-Asian racism has the same source as anti-Black racism: White supremacy,” Ms. Ho wrote for The Conversation. “So when a Black person attacks an Asian person, the encounter is fueled perhaps by racism, but very specifically by White supremacy. White supremacy does not require a White person to perpetuate it.”

It seems like a crazy urban legend: In China, drivers who have injured pedestrians will sometimes then try to kill them. And yet not only is it true, but it’s also fairly common; security cameras have regularly captured drivers driving back and forth on top of victims to make sure that they are dead. The Chinese language even has an adage for the phenomenon: “It is better to hit to kill than to hit and injure.” In contrast in our country, BLM regularly blocks roads and in most situations, the drivers are the ones that took the hit.
