An East Pierce County church has canceled an event featuring a politically conservative activist after the senior pastor said police warned him groups opposed to the event were targeting the pastor and members of the congregation.
Motion Church’s senior pastor, the Rev. Roger Archer, told The News Tribune the Puyallup Police Department and FBI contacted him about safety concerns over a planned appearance by Charlie Kirk.

Seems I once read where political intimidation was used against churches in another country. It work incredibly well. It was in Germany and it involved a few Synagogues I think.

This isn't right. What has happened to America? These violent groups have gotten away with so much this past year they think they can do anything they want. Unfortunately they might be right.

There needs to be armed guards protecting these people. In he Washington, the Lunatic State, but not so close to the center of infection in Seattle.
Violent crazies should not be permitted to get people cancelled. Pushback should be the norm.

Charles Kirk has a magnificence record of pointing out the corrosive nature of critical race theory and other garbage teaching on college campuses. The local police force should have protected his right to speak to -- and be heard by -- this congregation. If necessary with the National Guard, US Army, US Navy, US Marines, US Coast Guard and US Space force . . . .

"Defund the police" was really aimed at making society more beholden to bullies, mobs, and cartels.
Most of the progress that PDJT made against the swamp has been undone by the reckless Left, and they won't be so easy to push back next time.

The reason it was The Land of The Free was because it was The Home of The Brave.
Men who pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor won those freedoms that cowards gave away became of “ potential threats”.

Maybe the people in Washington are just not tough enough. Who knows? Maybe the Christians there have not understood the scriptures they were reading.

I am curious. If a Black church is warned that outsiders intend to harm congregants and burn down their church if an invited guest speaker is allowed to appear, how does the FBI respond? Are such threats considered domestic terrorism?
Does the FBI seek to identify the party or parties making the threats? If so, what are the consequences to the individuals who get caught? I ask because so much property damage has been done in the past few years by activists wearing similar "uniforms" and damaging property with similar "tools." How difficult can it be for state, local and federal agents to link captured participants to a larger organized group? Their "uniforms" are worn so they'll be recognized as members of their group. Why do they appear unworried about facing consequences?

The antichrist movement is the new operational branch of Antifa, BLM, and the DNC. Xi Biden is the new savior on earth. The 21st-century messiah. All bow down and worship his lordliness. He will spend enough money to save us all.

Puyallup appears to offer another example of what C.S. Lewis called "men without chests." My modest size church in a small, East Texas town has a cadre of trained, organized, emotionally stable, armed and serious volunteers from the congregation, far more capable than the local police and deputies from the county sheriff's office. Among the church leadership, security cadre , and congregation the willingness to negotiate with terrorists or give in to terroristic threats is non-existent. In fact, I'm fairly certain that our women's Sunday school class is largely responsible for the local shortage of handguns and ammo.

Do the Puyallup! They used to have a fair and a commercial that sang those words; this was back in the late nineties when I lived in Seattle. When Seattle was a beautiful city and Washington a beautiful state. Those days are gone.
