On Friday, Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga became the first world leader to visit the Biden White House. These visits help set the tone for an administration. That being the case, the new administration’s tone is inept and rude. Biden was also absent for the first part of it, leaving an awkward Kamala Harris to trash the U.S. for gun violence before turning to welcome Suga. When Biden took over, things went downhill. (snip) Normally, when a foreign head of state arrives, the President gives him or her a formal greeting. This time, however, the President was nowhere to be found.

In a highly disrespectful and embarrassing move, Kamala Harris welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga to the White House on Friday.Joe Biden was nowhere to be found as Kamala Harris welcomed Yoshihide Suga, the first foreign leader to visit the Biden White House. But it was way worse than we originally reported. No one met Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga at the door when he arrived. The only one standing there was a stationary Army guard.Compare and contrast: (Tweet/Video)

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Friday said President Biden has no plans to remove UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield over comments she made that “slavery weaved white supremacy into our founding documents and principles.”The senior US diplomat described racism and discrimination in the US in taped remarks this week to Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.Emerald Robinson of Newsmax asked Psaki at her daily press briefing whether Biden is “going to remove her from her position” — saying the speech hit themes similar to an anti-US diatribe by Chinese diplomats in Alaska last month.

President Obama was well known for his diplomatic blunders, stumbles and curt demeanor with many foreign dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II. Unsurprisingly it appears the JoeBama administration is picking up right where Obama left off.
Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga was the first world leader to visit the White House since Biden’s installation, and the poor form began with no-one greeting the head of the Japanese government upon arrival. When you consider the leftist narrative about stopping Asian hate, there is a rather ironic aspect to this visit and snub.
Once Prime Minister Suga was inside the White House he was shunned for the greeting by his diplomatic peer,

A new video from San Leandro California shows the moment two armed robbers run up to a man walking next to his vehicle.
The man who was attacked was allegedly a former Navy Seal and his reaction was priceless.
He managed to defend himself from the two black males who were carrying a gun, and not only that, but he managed to bodyslam one of them to the ground.
While he pinned the man/teen down the other robber says “let him go.”

Last summer, I wrote a short story entitled Rat Island, set in a post-pandemic United States. In it, the rule of law and social order have broken down, with mobs roaming the streets of Los Angeles. A wealthy group of people stand on top of a skyscraper, waiting for the helicopter that will whisk them away, but the crowd storms the building, desperate to board. In the fall of 2020 my agent reported a surprising amount of interest from Hollywood in adapting my story for the screen—but this cooled off after the presidential election, when there appeared to be

Democratic Rep. Mondaire Jones of New York on Friday called on Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer to step down at the end of the current term. During an interview with Cheddar News, Jones said the 82-year-old Breyer needed to retire in order to grant President Joe Biden the ability to nominate a new justice. After the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg last September, former President Donald Trump quickly nominated Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the court, with her successful Senate confirmation effectively reordering the balance of the court and cementing a 6-3 conservative majority. There was a prolonged ammunition shortage during the Obama administration. I got through that one because a Power Line reader lined me up with a dealer in West Virginia who seemed to have an endless supply of 9 mm. and .22LR rounds. Over the last year, another ammo shortage has struck, caused in part by an influx of new gun buyers who are responding to rising crime rates, attacks on law enforcement, and the election of Joe Biden. As with most shortages, it has been accentuated by hoarding: whenever a shooter saw boxes of a popular caliber on the shelves, he would buy them all.

It's a 46-second video that people can't stop watching: (Snip for tweet) A man in a placid, sylvan, subdivision of suburbia, in this case Burgaw, North Carolina, population 3,872, near Wilmington, was saying 'good morning' to a passing jogger, and carrying a car cup and a plastic disposable plate of brownies orobably for his workplace over to his SUV. He remarks to himself that he needs to wash his car as he begins to load it. His name is Happy, his wife's name is Kristi, she's bringing out a cat carrier with a cat in it for a trip to the vet, and they are the Wades, getting ready to

A high school student from Minnesota has spoken out about being falsely accused of sending vile racist messages to black classmates, after the incident was exposed as a hoax. Avery Severson, a sophomore at White Bear Lake High School near St. Paul, was falsely accused of sending the racist direct messages, prompting outrage and a student walkout. But school officials said that an FBI investigation revealed that the female student who created the hateful messages wanted 'to raise awareness of social and racial injustice' by staging the stunt. They refused to name the true perpetrator.(Snip) Precious Boahen, one of the apparent targets of the messages,
