Former President Donald Trump said the federal government is doing a “terrible disservice” to Americans by halting usage of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, while saying it may have been halted due to “possibly political reasons.”
(Snip)
“The results of this vaccine have been extraordinary but now it’s [sic] reputation will be permanently challenged. The people who have already taken the vaccine will be up in arms, and perhaps all of this was done for politics or perhaps it’s the FDA’s love for Pfizer,” Trump said in a statement released by his office, referring to the vaccine made by Pfizer.

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, white people make up 60% of the U.S. population.
Also according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, white people make up 65% of the vaccine takers.
So why is the Biden administration pushing the narrative that white Trump supporters are refusing to take the vaccine when the problem is minority Biden supporters?
Well, that question self-answered.
The Washington Times reported, "White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the Biden administration is currently engaged with NASCAR and Country Music TV, among multiple other venues, in an effort to reach White conservatives who may be hesitant to get vaccinated against COVID-19."

The U.S. Capitol Police officer who shot dead an Air Force veteran during the tumultuous events on Jan. 6 will not be charged, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division decided jointly not to pursue charges against the officer.
The decision came after a “thorough investigation” into the shooting of Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old who joined others in storming the U.S. Capitol in Washington during a joint session of Congress in January. Babbitt was shot while trying to climb through a broken window into the Speaker’s Lobby, adjacent to the House chamber.

The White House is spending close to $352 a night to provide beds to the estimated 80,000 migrant families expected to flood the border from now until September, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement document obtained by the Washington Examiner.

House Democrats’ majority shrunk as Rep. Julia Letlow (R-La.) is slated to be sworn into office on Wednesday.
Letlow is joining the lower chamber after her husband, Luke Letlow, died of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus earlier this year. Julia Letlow won a special election in March.
With Letlow being sworn in, Republicans have 212 seats in the House compared with the Democrats’ 218 seats. Tie votes fail in the House, which means that Democrats cannot pass legislation if three or more of their members defect and the Republican Party fully opposes them.

Today Conrad Black has an outstanding take-down of the WSJ's foolish anti-Trump editorial (on Friday). The WSJ editorial is titled "The GOP's Trump Problem"--see, Trump is the problem. Black responds with some heavy artillery of his own:
The GOP’s Trump Solution
At some point, the former Republican establishment will have to familiarize itself with the consequences of being defeated by Donald Trump within its own party.
Black covers a lot of ground. I'll try to summarize the main points, while urging readers to follow the link--you won't regret it. Black talks turkey, explains the facts of political life in lucid terms.
Black's basic thesis is that the WSJ has things exactly backwards.

The Wall Street Journal on Friday published an editorial headlined “The GOP’s Trump Problem.” It gets things terribly wrong. The GOP is Trump’s party and it is the Wall Street Journal that has the Trump problem.
Having been commendably supportive of the former president through most of his term, the Journal joined in the general embarkation of NeverTrumpers over the ostensible election results. The theory that inspired this headline is Trump had his chance but lost the election in a manner practically indistinguishable from defeated incumbents Jimmy Carter in 1980 and George H. W.
