It finally happened. Arizona has gone "sanctuary" and wait until the Democrats go ballistic screaming that laws have to be respected in the U.S. This is from Fox News:
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed a gun rights law this week that preemptively protects gun owners in the state from any federal gun control laws that are passed, according to reports. The Second Amendment Freedom Act was signed two days before President Biden announced several executive actions, including asking the Justice Department to propose a rule to stop "ghost guns," which are "kits" people can buy legally

Yes, a ghost gun is truly the sum of all parts, whether they are bought together as a "kit" or separately, However, the parts cannot simply be put together. There is some machining that must be done to make the gun functional.

This should be happening in every red state! And while they’re at it, they should enact “constitutional carry” laws.

''Ghost Guns'' are the newest crisis for anti-gunners, since assault weapons have been debunked. If someone wants an ''illegal'' gun, it's easier and cheaper to buy one from an individual or the black market.
Besides, sale of key parts of guns are controlled, just like a complete gun. Anyone desperate enough to try making a gun out of mismatched parts, and want to be able to fire projectiles at someone, can make a ''Zip'' gun with materials from their Home improvement stores.

Ducey’s tenure ends in 2022. The Arizona GOP may have a tough fight to retain this governorship.

Is it just me or has there been a concerted effort on behalf of some of these Republican governors who stabbed Trump in the back on election fraud to burnish their conservative street creeds?

Exactly right, #5. I've been sending Ducey so many scathing emails that I told my husband I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't come knocking on the door to talk to me about the guns I own and my CCW permit. Ducey is desperately trying to improve his act in hopes of re-election. Don't know if another good Republican candidate will appear. Might have to hold our nose because he's way better than any Democrat.

Americans have ALWAYS been able to build their own firearms, this is nothing new. The only new thing is that there are gun receivers, which are the part that the government considers as "the gun", which in a factory gun, since 1968, has had a serial number. If you purchase a partially completed receiver, and finish it yourself, you can then purchase all the rest of the parts, which are available as just spare parts, no paperwork at all, and assemble the gun.
Not everyone is up for the machine work to finish the receiver, and it can be botched pretty easily if you aren't reasonably skilled, and even when you put your "bag of parts" together, it may not function properly, and if you are unable to diagnose and solve the problems....then you can call the "warranty department" of your "manufacturer"....which is located in your mirror.
I seriously doubt that even 10 crimes have occurred with home made guns. In the 1950s, the gangs in big cities made "zip guns" and shot each other, occasionally. In the Philippines, during WW2, the local people made simple shotguns from pipe and used them to kill Japanese soldiers and take their guns and ammunition.
Home made guns are nothing new. And Traitor Joe is a liar. Ask how many crimes have been committed by these home made guns. I'll bet it is close to zero.

hundreds of thousands of Mexicans, Hondurans and El Salvadorans will be voting in the next election, so whatever good is being done will be undone by these illegal aliens voting illegally, and nobody stopping them.

The Democrats will steal the governor and senate elections next year, but they need to steal the legislature too. In addition, there are two sanctuary counties for 2a in Arizona.

In Arizona, if you have a gun in the car, it is recommended that you advise a policemen who is stopping you for a traffic reason. It is the polite thing to do.

When the antigun crazies whine about "no serial number guns".....you should note that literally tens of millions of old guns, made and sold prior to 1968 HAD NO SERIAL NUMBERS. The only need for a SN was if the company wanted to keep track, or if they were selling to the military, and they ALWAYS want to keep track. Huge numbers of rifles, shotguns and handguns had no serial numbers, and it was perfectly OK. I have purchased guns in the last decade which he paperwork says...."NSN" where the serial number would go. And some guns LEGALLY had the serial numbers defaced. In one case, Sears was selling Winchesters at a discount, and Winchester was pretty unhappy about it, wanted to know which distributors were selling cheap to Sears and stop it. So, the distributors obliterated the SNs. So there are a fair number of old Winchesters with obliterated SNs from about 1900 or so.
SNs are a pretty recent concern.....WHY? Because the antigun folks want to track them all so that they can confiscate them. Pretty simple.

While they're at it, they should affirm the entire Constitution and start the rollback of all illegal federal laws. Good going on this one, though. Ducey must just hate Trump since he did little to make sure Arizona elections were conducted legally.
