The co-founder of Black Lives Matter has found a personal solution for the big black crime wave that she has done so much to instigate. From Dirt, a real estate website:
Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors Lands Topanga Canyon Compound (Snip)$1.4 mil is cheap for a house in Topanga Canyon, so it’s not luxurious.
The amusing thing is that Topanga Canyon is culturally the whitest spot in the Los Angeles area: it’s been a semi-rural hippie enclave for bohemian artists since the 1960s. (Snip)But it’s perhaps the safest non-gated community in Los Angeles County for staying far, far away from black crime.

In the maelstrom spurred by lies about Georgia’s voting law, woke corporations again endeavored zealously to virtue signal for the Left. Echoing and acting upon the Left’s deliberate disinformation campaign—including, notably, President Biden’s infamous “Jim Crow on steroids” doggerel—Coke, Delta, Major League Baseball, and sundry others excoriated the Peach State’s new statutory liberalization of voting procedures. In an interesting twist, these “free-market” entities, which are often threatened with boycotts from the Left, demanded the cancellation of an entire state.
Ostensibly, this spasm of woke corporate extortion was largely wrought by the requirement for voter ID. Curiously, this is a policy prescription supported by the overwhelming majority of Americans, including people

When Democrats took charge of the South after Reconstruction, they made racial discrimination the law of their part of the land. They passed Jim Crow laws to keep the black man down.
Jim Crow died in 1964. LBJ killed him with the help of 27 of the 33 Republican senators who voted to end a filibuster by 22 Democrat senators from the South and Bob Byrd.
30 years after passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 -- after the last white supremacist died -- Republicans began the long slog to political dominance. The South prospered.
Unable to win an election on merit in the South, Democrats used the covid 19 crisis

President Donald Trump will be delivering the keynote address during the Republican National Committee spring donor event near Mar-a-lago this weekend. This event will feature all of the main party characters from both the MAGA contingent and the traditional DeceptiCon class.Attendees include: Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Senators Marco Rubio, Tom Cotton, Rick Scott, Lindsey Graham and Ron Johnson.(Snip)Given the scale of reform needed in the professional GOP party, it is likely President Trump is navigating through the politics of the entrenched Machiavellian establishment.

Leftist ideologues from the Chicago school have a typical playbook they pull from. One of their strategies is to flood the zone of politics to create chaos that allows them to act under cover of the distracted nature of their plan. JoeBama turning his eye toward the Supreme Court while pushing COVID crisis, the Border crisis, promoting infrastructure and simultaneously advancing on the filibuster rule is classic Chicago, aka Alinsky.
The deployment of a commission to study reform in the Supreme Court, while simultaneously having a plan to install Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson (50) to replace Justice Stephen Bryer, now 82-years-old, is all part of that chaos approach.

It takes a very good writer to produce prose that prompts emotions a reader has experienced in an unconnected past. It also takes a good writer to subtly tip off the reader of the change in the character of the American people, one in which toughness has been replaced by weakness. Talleyrand once remarked that no one who had been born after the French Revolution could know how sweet life could be. Larry McMurtry wrote about life in small American towns in the ’50s, and the great American West in the late 19th century, and his writing evoked feelings that those born after those dates could perceive. Most of his

You would think it was summer 2024 and presidential polls were showing Democrats ten points behind the way they and the media (“Democrats with bylines” as Glenn Reynolds put it) are coming after Ron DeSantis, hurling any ridiculous accusation they can find at the proverbial wall, hoping one will stick.
(Snip)The need to “get” DeSantis overwhelmed all, including, as has been noted everywhere except for most of the mainstream media, cherry-picking the governor’s remarks to turn them inside out.
We could call this behavior the dawn of DDS—DeSantis Derangement Syndrome—but that would confuse the governor with a dentist. (The yet more accurate DSS—DeSantis Stupidity Syndrome—is unfortunately the acronym for Department of

Let me be clear…. I fully expect to see the standing U.S. military deployed against any state who stands up against unconstitutional federal demands. I have made this assertion since the jaw-dropping revelations about the Pentagon during the first impeachment effort in August 2019 and the lack of leadership from the military in removing Lt. Col Alexander Vindman from his compromised position.♦ WHAT: As I look forward the likely origination point for military deployment will be federal COVID mandates, though it could also be state election issues. ♦ HOW: The hardline leftists are weaponizing the military for political benefit. ♦ WHEN: As a result of severe federal government

The collapse of the Trump-hate fraud is forcing the American national political media, with infinite regret and trepidation, to subject the Biden Administration to an elemental level of oversight.
When Joe Biden accuses 40 states—including, implicitly, his own home state of Delaware—of “Jim Crow” racial bias in administering elections, the media simply cannot allow such nonsense to go unnoticed. In their delirium of happiness at having won the presidential election, the Democrats naïvely believed that they could go on running against Donald Trump, (Snip)The former president has outsmarted his enemies, however, and has graciously allowed his successor to take center stage and blunder and misspeak on a level never approached in

The start of a world war was only two months away. Yet the setting could not have been better imagined in a pulp romance as the spark of a great love (Snip)
July 1939. In Dartmouth Bay, southern England, the royal yacht dropped anchor. Aboard were the king, George VI, Queen Elizabeth, and their two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret.
Like his father, the king was a naval man. Of the three services, the Royal Navy was regarded as upper crust, referred to as the senior service. The royal family was paying a visit to the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth, where many of the cadets were drawn from aristocratic families.

MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan has called on liberal Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer to retire from the bench after he spoke out forcefully against court-packing earlier this week.
In the piece, published Thursday and starkly headlined "Justice Stephen Breyer Should Retire from the Supreme Court," Hasan accused Breyer of intentionally overlooking the "partisanship" of his conservative colleagues, and dismissed his position as "naive, misguided and self-serving."
(Snip)
In a lecture at Harvard Law School on Tuesday, Breyer argued that politically-driven changes to the Supreme Court risked damaging the rule of law in the United States.

The Endocrine Society, an international organization of over 18,000 endocrine clinical specialists and researchers, has released a scientific statement that asserts there are only two sexes — male and female — and that biological sex is measurable and is to be differentiated from gender identity.
(Snip)t “biological sex is often confused with gender in our society,” and asserted:
The two sexes are differentiated as females, who have ovaries and produce eggs, and males, who have testes and produce sperm. In mammals, females typically have XX chromosomes and males typically have XY chromosomes. All sex differences in the zygote, or fertilized egg, stem from harboring two different sex chromosomes.
