Navy Seabees have built Vice President Kamala Harris her own version of the Resolute desk made out of materials from historic U.S. warships. Harris' desk, which sits in her office in the West Wing of the White House, was put together using wood, copper and nails taken from the USS Constitution, which was commissioned under George Washington in 1794. The USS Constitution is one of the country's first frigates and is the oldest commissioned warship still afloat. It was launched in 1797 in Boston, Massachusetts, and now sits in Baltimore Harbor. Harris' desk has carvings of an eagle surrounded by stars from the Constitution's stern decorations.

Left-wing Hollywood stars Debra Messing and Piper Perabo are threatening a boycott of Southwest Airlines over the carrier’s refusal to condemn Texas’ election integrity bill, which the state’s senate passed last week.
Their boycott is the latest intimidation campaign waged by elite leftists against corporations in an attempt to sway election policy in favor of Democrats. On Monday, Covert Affairs actress Piper Perabo voiced her intention to boycott the Dallas-based Southwest. She echoed former Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean by using the now-ubiquitous term “voter suppression” to describe the bill.
“I spend my money companies who support voting rights,” the actress tweeted.

Washington scandal cycles are predictable, and sex is especially potent in politics. Let me first remind everyone that I am a representative in Congress, not a monk, and certainly not a criminal.Nancy Pelosi once defended President Bill Clinton after he got an intern to fellate him in the Oval Office. But when it comes to the allegation that I, a grown man, paid for an adult girlfriend’s expenses? Well, consider that a bridge too far for the power-hungry hypocrites.I want to be clear about something as we process the leaks and lies from the past week. To this point, there are exactly zero credible (or even non-credible) accusers willing to

I have a friend who is fearful of commercial airlines.
At the gate, before boarding, he asks the agent the following question: "What is the captain's name?" If the answer indicates the pilot is female, he will not board that flight. Any criticism of my friend's lack of confidence in any qualified aviatrix is answered along these lines: "She can't drive a stick shift. I should trust her with a Jumbo Jet?" My friend is right to be cautious about flying, but for different reasons. Like most air travelers, he doesn't know what he doesn't know.

Biden spokesperson Jen Psaki has repeatedly told reporters that there is no crisis at the border.
There is no surge at the border, people are merely “presenting” at the border.
They aren’t keeping kids in cages at the border, they are keeping them in “soft-sided structures” that they can’t leave.
While the people currently running this country have become the living embodiment of a CNN “mostly peaceful protests” meme, the crisis has continued to grow exponentially with no end in site. The Biden Administration is rumored to be in a bit of chaos behind the scenes as they struggle to message the deluge of illegal aliens

It’s been four weeks since I received my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but very little has changed for me. I’m still living in pandemic mode. (Snip) Let’s just hope people are willing to get the vaccines once they are more accessible. If they don’t, we’re doomed.
There’s a chance that the normal we once knew no longer exists. That doesn’t mean we won’t regain most of the freedoms we lost over the past year. It just means we’ll have to be extra careful far longer than we’d like.

A drive-thru order took a bad turn on Tuesday when a woman allegedly opened fire into the window of a Burger King in Memphis, Tennessee, according to police.
“The Memphis Police Department said it all started when a woman got angry about how long she was waiting for her food at a Burger King on Winchester Road,” Fox 13 reported. The woman was reportedly in the drive-thru line when she exited her car, approached the window, then began arguing with an employee. Memphis police detailed the events in a Facebook post on Friday, along with photos of the suspect who appeared to be wearing a blue jacket with a red hood:

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter tried everything to wean himself off alcohol and crack — from yoga and therapy to psychoactive drugs and the anesthetic ketamine. But in his new memoir, he credits the secretions of the Sonoran Desert toad with keeping him sober for a year. He describes how he traveled to Mexico in 2014, as his marriage was unraveling, in a desperate attempt to get his life back in order, using drug treatments that were not legal in the United States. First, he was given ibogaine, a psychedelic derived from plants at a clinic in Tijuana, which he
