A trendy coffee company financially backed by the Duchess of Sussex has imported tons of a key ingredient from a Chinese supplier based in a brutal police state where an alleged genocide is taking place.
Human rights groups have urged Western companies to cut all business ties with China's Xinjiang region because of appalling abuses, including the widespread use of forced labour and the detention of a million Uighur Muslims in re-education camps, where it is claimed women are systematically raped.

On Wednesday's edition of Tucker, mein host noted that the likes of Justin Trudeau and John Kerry are now speaking openly about "the Great Reset". That phrase has traveled a long way in a little over six months. Conversely, most of the citizens on the receiving end of it have traveled very little. Here's what I had to say when it was first floated back last summer:
One of the themes of our summer audio entertainment The Prisoner of Windsor is that most of the chaps who matter in this world are people you've never heard of - by which I mean they are other than the omnipresent pygmies of the

Reposting an earlier article by request as more people are starting to understand why CTH has focused on the financial motivations behind the political ideology for over a decade. It is critical that people understand the landscape. Underline it. Study it. Research the issues and teach everyone about it.
(Snip) the backdrop of current U.S. politics; the influence of Wall Street and the multinationals who align with globalism; the reality of K-Street lobbyists writing the physical legislation that politicians sell to Americans; and then overlay what you are witnessing as those same multinationals now attack the foundation of our constitutional republic. All of this is CORPORATISM, a continuum

Informed consent isn’t possible when the opinions of renowned experts are being censored by those who control which voiced we get to hear.
Way back in July of 2020, I reported on the thousands of doctors and scientists desperately trying to get the word out that Anthony Fauci’s program of economic ruin and crippling social isolation had no scientific justification whatsoever.
(Snip) the media and tech giants have managed to keep most of the public in the dark about the existence of any dissenting opinions on the wisdom of an historically unprecedented “public health” strategy that’s rained down more misery and death on the American people than our worst foreign foes could

Boring politicians are brought down in boring ways. But for spectacular politicians, only spectacular attacks will do. And Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is nothing if not spectacular. On Tuesday, The New York Times reported that Gaetz is under investigation for a possible sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl. To make the claims even spicier, the Times threw in words like “human trafficking.”
Representative Matt Gaetz, Republican of Florida and a close ally of former President Donald J. Trump, is being investigated by the Justice Department over whether he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and paid for her to travel with him, according to three people briefed on the matter.

In his first White House press conference last month, Joe Biden needed a cheat sheet and marked photos of approved reporters. The Delaware Democrat thus invites a comparison to Franklin Delano Roosevelt who, many Americans still believe, was fully able-bodied and a tower of strength during World War II. Hugh Gregory Gallagher challenged that perception in FDR’s Splendid Deception, which carried the subtitle, “The moving story of Roosevelt’s massive disability—and the intense efforts to conceal it from the public.”
In 1920, FDR was the Democratic candidate for vice president under James Cox. The next year, he suffered an attack of polio,(Snip) “anxious that the press should not know how

In our free republic, where the God-given right to free speech is recognized by our federal and state constitutions and guaranteed by our servant governments, a recent poll of our fellow citizens should amaze no one and enrage everyone. Consider these findings:
64 percent believe there is “a growing cancel culture” threatening their freedom (36 percent disagreed);
36 percent said cancel culture is a “big problem”; 32 percent a “moderate problem”; 20 percent a “small problem”; 13 percent said it’s “not a problem”;
54 percent are “concerned” that expressing online opinions would get them banned (by Big Tech) or fired by their employer; 46 percent “were not concerned.”

In the late 1930s, after years on the Vaudeville circuit, Dorothy Toy debuted on Broadway with her dance partner Paul Wing — known together as famous dance duo, Toy & Wing.
Decades later, her daughter, Dorlie Fong, had hoped to bring Toy to StoryCorps to share her story, but Toy died in 2019 at age 102 before that was possible.
Recently, Fong shared memories from her childhood with StoryCorps(Snip)
As a child, while her mother was touring with the dance company, Fong would watch her performances in awe.
"I remember watching her perform with her dance partner from the wings of the stage," she said. "Everything from the jitterbug to tap and ballet.

The Capitol police officer killed by a knife-wielding driver on Friday has been identified as veteran cop Billy Evans.
Evans had worked for the Capitol Police for 18 years.
On Friday, he was killed and one of his fellow officers was critically injured when a suspect, named by NBC as Noah Green, mowed them down in his blue Nissan Altima.
Green, who was from Indiana but has ties to Virginia, was then shot dead by other cops.
He was not known to police in Washington DC but he did have a record in another state, according to law enforcement sources.

The Washington state Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that efforts to recall Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant can move forward.
Sawant, a socialist representing Capitol Hill and the Central District, faced a recall after being accused of abusing her office by letting a large group of protesters into city hall last year with her passkey, using city resources in promoting a ballot initiative to impose taxes on Amazon, and outsourcing decisions regarding the hiring and firing of city employees to her party’s executive committee.
She is also accused of violating code when she led a protest march to Mayor Jenny Durkan’s private residence even with the knowledge that the mayor’s address was

The Arkansas state Senate voted this week to block federal law enforcement officials enforcing certain gun laws and regulations, sending a bill to the state House in the midst of congressional gun-control proposals.
The Senate voted 28-7 to approve the measure, which will then be sent to the House. Arkansas’ Legislature is overwhelmingly Republican.
