“The bill, H.B. 0800, was introduced by Representative Bruce Griffey (R – District 75) and will be considered by the Education Instruction Subcommittee on March 30,” KSDK reported Wednesday. The bill says public schools need to focus on teaching subjects such as reading, science, and mathematics. It also adds LGBTQ+ content is inappropriate for the classroom and may offend a significant portion of school communities that hold Christian values. In addition, the bill suggests LGBTQ+ issues be treated with the same rules as religious teaching in public schools.

The Stark County Board of Elections moved Friday to initiate a lawsuit against the county commissioners if they don't approve funding to buy Dominion voting machines by their regular board meeting next week. The vote during the special five-minute meeting was 3-0 by Chairman Samuel Ferruccio, Kody Gonzalez and William Cline. Board member Curt Braden abstained. It's not clear why, but he's a regional director for the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Braden could not immediately be reached for comment. CORRECTION*
Georgia was again the focus of presidential politics Friday as President Joe Biden blasted a new election law there as an 'atrocity' – and former President Donald Trump congratulated the state for changes Democrats are calling an illegal crackdown.
'Congratulations to Georgia and the Georgia State Legislature on changing their voter Rules and Regulations,' Trump said in a statement through his Save America PAC.
'They learned from the travesty of the 2020 Presidential Election, which can never be allowed to happen again. Too bad these changes could not have been done sooner!' Trump wrote from Mar-a-Lago, where he was pictured golfing Friday.
Tony Clark, the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) executive director, says that he wants the league to discuss pulling the All-Star Game from Georgia now that the state’s election integrity bill has become law.

The Liberal government has successfully defended its carbon tax in the courts, and it will defend it at the polls too, says the federal environment minister.
In a 6-3 decision on Thursday, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled the federal carbon pricing regime is constitutional. The decision means the government can move forward with its plan to ensure every province and territory has a price on carbon emissions.
When the Democrats decided to launch their unconstitutional military occupation of Washington D.C., they summoned 26,000 National Guard troops from all over the country to serve as a captive audience for Biden’s inauguration in an empty city living in fear. Those troops were made to sleep on cold marble floors in the Capitol and later in a cold parking garage. They were fed tainted meat, food with metal shavings and worms, resulting in illnesses and hospitalization.
