Let me be honest from the start of this. I’m not religious. I’m an agnostic. That is, I cannot say with any degree of certainty whether God exists or not. That would be any God, Christian, Muslim, or take your pick. My belief is much like a coin, flipped into the air to land, improbably, on edge and stand there. Perhaps wobbling and teetering a bit, but not ready to take that leap of faith one way or the other.
To me, it seems that deciding to believe that God’s there or not, has to be done without the benefit of convincing evidence for or against

Sad to see it such - although kudos for not (as so many do) pretending.
I grew up with such nul beliefs. But exposure to the Bible -- Jesus' teachings especially -- with open eyes and an open heart, plus the very real evidence of the power of prayer changed all that.
This nation and its fundamental liberties and goodness did not just happen by chance. And they couldn't (and didn't!) happen just "anywhere."
"In God we trust." Yes!

There's plenty of proof if you really are ready to look for it.

#1, it seems pretty clear to me that the author is largely coming down on the side of God. Perhaps he is afraid that if he doesn't "do it right" as far as believing in God, doesn't absolutely believe with 100% of his heart and soul, if he has 5% of doubt when claiming to be a Christian, that he'll be 'found out' as a "faker" by a God who can see into your heart and know the truth.
I've been there myself, and struggled with both sides. But, it is just too clear that this world had to have a hand guiding it, a Maker, if you will. This can't be an accident, and I have come to believe that God has created all this, and us, and our lives are a time of learning and a test. I hope and pray to be passing my test, and I struggle all the time with these issues. Having had several friends and family member pass on recently has helped me focus on these issues all the more.
I think that the author may have a point. If God wanted to peel back the lies and fraud of all these government Uniparty thugs, and criminals-in-charge, he sure created the perfect way for us to stop being fooled. Perhaps this is our chance to realize what is wrong and to rectify things.

America is not mentioned in End Times Prophesy. Given the current state of our depraved "culture" and national leadership, it's becoming easier every day to see why.
God promised to bless and protect one country on Earth. This isn't it.

The article is not about whether there is a God or not. He/she starts out with what they believe but then go into the stealing and corruption of the election. An interesting read.

God's patience with 'the world' including the 'sit-on-the-fence' author is not promised to last forever. Quite the contrary, judgement will come. I'd suggest the author stop pretending. Believing in God would both cost him nothing yet everything while refusing God's generosity could cause the author to spend eternity in sorrow. Get off the fence, Mr. Welderson.

This fellow is smart and coming around, but not yet wise. "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10
If he wants to be amazed and enlightened, he might want to visit Paul's observations in Romans 1:18-32 - an amazing description of today's circumstances as they were viewed a couple of thousand years ago.

You know, people that don't believe need to just look around themselves and see the way ALL life interacts...just the human body alone, is so wondrous that no one in their right mind could believe it evolved from a microbe swimming in the sea and crawling out onto land...God's hand is within our bodies...the only problem was that when he created us he gave us 'free will' and that is why things are so damned screwed up...

It is not that hard a question to be honest.
Figure what the mathematical possibilities are for the very first living thing to possess a strand of DNA that is properly encoded to replicate. That is step 1.
If the odds of that happening are 1 out of 100 - then the chance of an intelligent creative force at work for the creation of life is... 99 out of 100. It was either chance - or God. And do not give me this 'outer space' hogwash as wherever life might have hypothetically originated on some other planet... you have the exact same problem.
The question the becomes... what are the CHANCES of getting a strand of DNA that is genetically encoded AND able to perform the functions necessary to divide and replicate... out of pure happenstance? We are talking about a huge number of base pairs here too, even for the simplest living thing to be able to replicate.
Do the math. The chances that God does NOT exist is as close to nil as one could possibly imagine. And, here's the twist, even if there was nothing but chance involved and planet earth just won the Power Ball lottery 87 times in a row... maybe that was by design too.

Scripture warns us that God does not bring chaos. His Holy Spirit is not a God of chaos, but rather of love and peace. What calamities happening to our country are contrary to His will, but are of our own choices and making. His Word provides the compass for us to follow but we have ignored His Wisdom. America's Founders sought His Wisdom every step of the way when founding the U.S.A.!
Now we have malevolent politicians who plot schemes dividing Americans into adversarial groupings and playing them against each other, stirring strife, as they ignore & shun the very Constitutional principles which enabled this magnificent country to thrive & prosper, always I proving in freedom for each individual in peace to pursue their individual happiness. ...How tragic to see how far we have slid from the Constitution's noble goals, as radical pols now dare to blatantly ignore existing law and substitute their own selfishness to chart the future course deviating into chaos. How full of pride they are.

Articles such as this and especially the comments appearing hear always make me happy that I am an unbeliever. I'm not a militant atheist and am very supportive of people's right to worship as they please and do acknowledge that this is a nation composed primarily of Christians. Religion in the public square poses no problem for me. The Christian religion in which I was raised counseled that God moves in mysterious ways and that we are incapable of understanding His part, if anything, in events that happen on this earth. Were I still an adherent of that creed I wouldn't blame Him for the horrid things that happen nor would I expect Him to do anything about it.

#12, I think you mean free choice. When you are a believer, it is always His will (thy will) but you have free choices.

The writer's identity is only veiled from us, because this person was also made in God's image. A few years ago, I read a book called, ''I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist'' by Geisler and Turek, A marvelous read (in paperback since 2004).
Proof? As #12 mentioned and St. Paul did in Romans 1:20 we are without excuse.
More proof? Psalm 103.

Removing Trump by cheating, which the Democrats did, was the same as assasinating Lincoln and Kennedy. In Lincoln's case, Reconstruction was thwarted and in Kennedy's case, we got Lyndon Johnson and the mostly terrible Raw Deal and the Vietnam disaster. Had Clinton or Obama been disposed of, we would have wound up with Algore and a vigorous Biden, and later Hillary. So the upshot is, don't mess with things 99% of the time. We are now in the 1% where Trump has to prevail. Let's see what God's plan is now. Frankly, I stand with the author of the article. Democrats would be in a better position after a Trump second term, possibly, but now, they lose big if they don't cheat again.

Faith is believing without seeing. That doesn’t mean you can’t see God working in your life but He never promised us that life on Earth would be perfect. He has watched, probably with sorrow, as we have let the liberals overrun society. Now we are paying the price.

The point that this is a real revelation of the massive evil against us, and that so many are now far less fooled by the corrupt DC Swamp Creatures than they were just a decade ago.
The masks being ripped off may be a real benefit, if we can take advantage of it.

God helps those who help themselves. This is a man-mess and we have to fix it our own selves. Taking a knee from time to time during the battle is always a good idea.

Does God answer your prayers ?
I’m not a super religious person so I don’t know why people
ask me questions like this, but I have been asked that several
times. My answer always has been; yes, He does answer, but
certainly not today and probably not tomorrow and you may
not like His answer.
I’m sure that many people gave a silent prayer to God, before
the election, to guide and protect Donald Trump and this
nation. Did we get an answer we didn’t like, or is He waiting
to answer, or is His answer that we can do this by ourselves
once we have seen the light.
People are starting to recognize the corruption in and around
our government and institutions. The legal persecution of
Michael Flynn , the election itself, the Big Tech censorship,
the slap on the wrist the FBI agent received for falsifying the
FISA warrant and now the GameStop Wall St debacle.
People are starting to recognize that there is an elite club and
we are not in it. This is not what God intended when He
guided the founding fathers to create this nation.
And, yes, God did have a hand in creating this great nation.
Washington himself closed out his inaugural address by
speaking of “...the benign parent of the human race, in
humble supplication, since He has been pleased to favor the
American people, with ... a form of Government, for the
security of their Union, and the advancement of their
happiness. So His Divine Blessing may be equally
conspicuous in ... the wise measures on which the success
of this Government must depend.”
He knows that we can’t fix a problem that we don’t know
exists. I think His answer has been to guide Donald Trump,
to expose all of this and show us the light. Since the day he
came down the elevator Donald J. Trump has had the ability
to make people drop their masks and show us who they
actually are.
Was this all part of His plan ?
