I am not a particular fan of Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The Sun Also Rises.”
But there is one exchange between two of the characters, Bill Gorton and Mike Campbell, that has stuck with me.
“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.
“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”
That passage has been running through my head a lot recently.
I thought of it last week when I learned that Dr. Seuss Enterprises had decided to stop selling six books by the famous children’s author because—according to the bureaucrats at the concession—they depict various ethnic groups in ways that are “hurtful and wrong.”

As bad as all this is, what really terrifies me is the economic impact!

Once again, people who voted legally did not choose this government. The key question is can we get them out through elections. I am not ready yet to say no. But we will see/

Regardless of fraud, tens of millions of people actually voted for this steaming pile of you know what. Our 'leaders' and those with close connections will live like royalty while the rest live like robbed peasants all the while turning the country into a wasteland of shutdown businesses and abandoned houses.

#5. I am surrounded by these people which is why I am looking to move to the country. Also I feel the need for a place where I can burn wood for heat and my wife can have a bigger garden

The Republic of Texas approaches.
Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S Dakota, N Dakota, Montana, Alberta (Canada), Saskatchewan (Canada), Manitoba (Canada), and a few states along the sides. Let's go EAST. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida.
We have every shipping port in The Gulf of Mexico and half the Atlantic and more oil than the Saudis ever dreamed of.
California and New York can print their own money. If they want to trade they can use Panama. We WILL protect our borders ,north, south, east, and west.
If you're coming to visit Texas bring your US passport with the pre-approved visitor's visa.

No, # 3. There were not enough idiots in the 2020 election, it was outright stolen via fraud. An act of treason has been committed by the occupants of the White House and no one has been dealt with yet and will not be.

#3, it is less the idiots than the illegal aliens, and the votes changed by the electronic vote fraud machines, and the tens or hundreds of thousands of counterfeit ballots.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The more they push this woke BS, the more I hear people speaking freely. I cant count the number of people I've heard referring to the trannies as mentally ill, or the BLM crowd as "nwords". And look at how many people have bought guns in the last year? Its a beautiful thing.

Kimball uses this platform to whine about a book of his that Amazon took down but not one factor included that will affect the economy anytime soon. Sure, inflation is a bad thing but most of us are accustomed to not buying what is overpriced these days. "Ruin" is a harsh word.
