Democratic political strategist Doug Schoen says the situation at the border is a “full on crisis” and the media is using a double standard to cover the increasingly tense situation while speaking to the Daily Caller’s Brianna Lyman, “We have a crisis, a full on crisis,” Schoen said. “Unless the Biden administration takes the issue on forcefully, we will have a full on crisis of politics and more important substance as we go forward.” Schoen said one of the causes for the recent surge at the border is that the Democratic Party won’t promote a bipartisan immigration policy.

Late last week after Joe Biden signed the $1.9 trillion Democratic constituency payoff bill disguised as “COVID relief,” most Americans started getting $1,400 payments from Uncle Sam.That doesn’t seem like much money given the fact that tens of millions of Americans suffered lengthy financial hardship over the past year governors shut down their states and as Democrat governors continued to keep their states essentially locked down for months afterward. But even that paltry amount of money will seem even less if Democrats pass Biden’s new tax legislation, which contains the largest increase since 1993.

During an interview over the weekend with ABC News, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi bizarrely blamed President Joe Biden’s border crisis on climate change. Since Biden took office, immigrants have flooded the border, many of whom are children.Pelosi said, “There are more children, about 600, 700 more children, unaccompanied children coming over the border. This is a humanitarian challenge to all of us. What the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border, and they are working to correct that in the children’s interest.

Florida students were shocked to learn that President Joe Biden recently opened holding cells — which some call “cages” — for migrant children at the border, and that former President Donald Trump had actually signed an order that stopped family separation at the border. One student said that she found the revelations, “shocking,” adding, “everyone made Trump look like a bad image, and [Biden]’s basically doing the same thing.”Another student, however, expressed that she was not shocked, and that she expects that “from here on out, it’s probably going to get worse.”Campus Reform released a video of the students’ reactions, in which reporter Addison Smith interviewed several students.

President Joe Biden hasn’t been in the White House long — just under two months — but he already appears to be growing weary of its confines. As noted by the Associated Press, Biden has spent three of his eight weekends as president at his longtime home outside Wilmington, Del., with another weekend spent at Camp David, the presidential retreat, located at Catoctin Mountain Park, Frederick County, Md. Nevertheless, while describing the White House as a “magnificent building,” to Biden, apparently, the 132-room mansion is also stifling.“Many presidents have complained at one point or another about feeling confined in the White House. Biden already has echoed earlier presidents in comparing

NEW ORLEANS — The Drew Brees era with the New Orleans Saints — marked by a Super Bowl celebration, raucous record-setting nights in the rebuilt Superdome and the undersized quarterback’s outsized role in a historic city’s rebirth — has ended.Brees, the NFL’s leader in career completions and yards passing, has decided to retire after 20 NFL seasons, including his last 15 with New Orleans.“Til the very end I exhausted myself to give everything to the Saints organization, my team and the great city of New Orleans,” Brees said in social media post on Sunday, 15 years to the day after he signed with the Saints.

A Twitter account for the II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group did an about-face over the weekend, offering an apology for what it previously described as “aggressiveness” in slamming Fox News host Tucker Carlson online. The hoopla began last week when Carlson responded to a speech from President Joe Biden announcing that the U.S. military is designing body armor for women, creating “maternity flight suits” and updating hairstyle requirements.Carlson criticized what he saw as misguided priorities and the left spun that concern into an attack on U.S. servicewomen. Democrats like Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth hit back, as did the Pentagon.

NBC anchor Chuck Todd said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that a lot of people believe it is “inevitable” we’ll have more pandemics in the future because of “climate change.”Todd said, “When you think about sadly preparing for this again, I know a lot of folks who think that due to climate change and due to globalization in general, it is inevitable that we’ll deal with more and more viruses like this. The biggest lesson you are going to take away to prepare for the next one?”National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases head Dr. Anthony Fauci said, “You know there are a couple of lessons,

Speaking on Fox News’ “Fox News Sunday,” Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy, a known Russian collusion conspiracy theorist, claimed that former President Donald Trump is responsible for the current crisis at the southern U.S. border.“This president inherited a mess from Donald Trump in terms of immigration, and he’s trying to fix it in a humane way. The surge at the border began last fall. In the last four months of Donald Trump’s presidency, there was an 80 percent surge in apprehensions at the border,” he told Fox News host Chris Wallace. When Wallace pointed out that border apprehension charts show spikes in January and February, Murphy deflected

This writer knows a leftwing corporate lawyer who sees our society as top-heavy with a rich, exploitative class drinking glasses of champagne while there are millions of starving children in America, millions of homeless in the streets, degradation and hopelessness everywhere based on economic deprivation as well as racist, sexist, and moral rigidity.... To him, there are too many Marie Antoinette types laughing in their palaces saying to the miserable masses, "Let them eat cake...." In his mind, most of those laughing are Republicans with a few Democrats thrown into this heartless, capitalist mix. He is obsessed with the “heartless” top 1% or .1%

Donald Trump made a surprise stop at campaign event for former press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders as she runs for Arkansas governor. Sanders, whose father Mike Huckabee served as the 44th Governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, had announced her campaign in January. 'Great weekend on the campaign trail featuring a surprise appearance at one of my events by President Trump!' she tweeted Sunday night with a photo of her and Trump. It was not immediately clear where and when the fundraising event was held and who else attended.
