On Thursday, a spokesperson for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) told CNN and National Review that the moderate Democrat who has shown true fortitude in standing up to the radicals in his party will not be holding his own on one of President Joe Biden’s worst nominees. Manchin will support the nomination of Attorney General Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.) for secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
This makes Becerra’s confirmation virtually certain, and that is a crying shame for America, on many levels.
First, Becerra has no medical experience and “little health policy experience.” This alone should raise alarm bells in a nominee for a key health position

I quit reading after this —- “ . . . the moderate Democrat who has shown true fortitude in standing up to the radicals in his party . . . “ Seventeen words, 3 lies.

Manchin is a Democrat. Manchin is a wily politician. Thinking that THIS time he’ll vote sensibly is like Charlie Brown thinking that THIS time Lucy will let him kick the football.

Manchin seems to get pretty darn conservative - around election time - then does his part to go along to get along with the radicals in his party the remainder of his term(s).

Manchin is playing the same game he always plays. He is a deep stater but pretends to be reasonable from time to time. Don’t fall for it. He is a democrat and will toe the party line. He is no better than the rest. He is there for one thing, money. The love of money and insatiable lust for power has destroyed the Republic. Washington is the place the vast majority of people go to lose their integrity if they ever had any. It is a cesspool of evil.

Did anyone here read the article past the Manchin paragraph? It's about Becerra, and it's facts that have to be known. He is an absolute monster. Of course, Manchin is a monster-enabler for supporting him.

ONE MORE TIME: 'MODERATE" Sen. Joe Manchin's LIFETIME voting record is 27% conservative. (American Conservative Union). A true moderate's record ranges between 40% and 60% conservative. BTW, Pres. Trump carried West Virginia by 20+ points in 2016 and 2020. Pres. Trump 'OFFENDED" 'MODERATE" Sen. Manchin when he personally campaigned against him. You don't offend a snowflake, regardless of their age.

This should be everyone’s focus, not Manchin...
“ Xavier Becerra is not a health care professional — he is a hardcore pro-abortion ideologue who abused the power of his office to prosecute pro-life journalists and to force pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise for abortion.”
This guy never met an abortion or a deviant sexual act that he doesn’t love.

FTA: ...showing true fortitude..
Is the author nuts?! Joe Manchin is nothing more than a slick, fence sitting political animal selling his vote to those who will benefit him. The author needs glasses.

And the merciless murder of unborn children will continue. Manchin, you are such a pretender and about to cast yourself as another executioner. So, what did Chuckie promise you THIS time in exchange for your vote to kill more children.

Manchin is not looking out for America... he's watching out for his posterior and will vote however the democrats tell him...I never trusted manchin and this confirms what I've said all along...time to vote him out of office... along with the turtle and romney...so now... all the good work Dr. Carson did for four years will be undone by a political hack... it goes to prove... at least WE had four President Trump years to combat the chaos that the swamp had foisted on the poor...hopefully WE the people will be in charge again and the ruling DC elite will be sidelined...

Brings to mind Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto’s reported remark at the outset of WWII in the Pacific. To paraphrase, that Japan could raise hell for six to twelve months, but after that there was no hope of defeating America. The socialists are at least as much America’s enemy as was 1940’s Japan.

We have to come to grips with the fact the Republican Party leadership is too weak to deal with the Democrats. We cannot go through life stamping our feet at the outrageous acts of the Democrats, and doing nothing about it. We cannot go through life, forever going to fix things next election. We cannot go through life with a McConnell, that says we need more Republicans, then we win the House, Senate, and Presidency, and appoint 3 SC judges ---- and that is not enough. We still have to replace all the RINO's in Congress and the SC to get anything done. What we have is a total failure of Republican leadership to get anything done. The RNC is worthless and supine, nowhere to be found when the 2020 election was stolen. The RNC leadership also must be replaced. Our Republican Party are ok with following the Democrat leadership, as if they are observers, rather than players on the field, getting defeated every time. In short, the performance is pathetic, and now we are at full socialism, and security and intelligence services protecting the corrupt from the citizenry, instead of the country. This is totally disgusting. And the weaklings that are ok with wearing a face mask, and ok with surrendering their neighbors freedom with a work, are also pathetic weaklings that I wish I had never met.
