I share the same thought as Poster #1, Garland came across as a total lightweight dufus. Completely unimpressive, especially compared to Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and ACB. Ramona (the Press)

John Durham - Special Counsel, Federal Prosecutor, Blah Blah Blah. The Republicans need to do their own investigation of John to see if he's doing anything. Or done anything. Can't wait for Lindsey Graham to appear on FOX and say, Blah Blah Blah you just wait and see there will be some surprises Blah Blah Blah. Jeff Session and William Barr, timid Swamp Creatures. Expect little cooperation from Garland to expose the corruption over the past years. If a Durham report is released within the next year or two it will be in MSM newspapers mentioned in Section C Page 8. Maybe 2 full paragraphs.

Good Golly, Miss Molly! Wake up, people. What did you think would happen? These politicians and permanent, deep-state, swamp rat bureaucrats are in it together. They all went to the same ivy league colleges, they all belong to the same fraternities, sororities, secret societies and private clubs. Their children all attend the same exclusive schools and intermarry with one another. Republicans/Democrats, Democrats/Republicans; there is NO appreciable difference. They are in it for themselves. They are just putting on an elaborate show for us hicks and rubes. As another L-dotter so succinctly wrote in another posting, the so-called political parties are simply two wings of the same vulture. They view We The People (if they see us at all), as feudal serfs put on this earth to supply them with what they want and need. We are interchangeable and expendable. They will tax us for everything we have, send our children off to fight and die in their endless wars with Eastasia ("we have always been at war with Eastasia") and all the while tell us that it is all necessary for "our own good". Damn them all to hell! As we have seen these last few months; this cannot be remedied by elections. There will be no more elections. The ages long war between freedom and tyranny is coming to a climax and tyranny is winning. Blood, my friends! This will end in rivers of blood. I wish it were not so. It is not what I would choose; but it is being forced upon us. May God bless you and keep you all.

The mess we are in is because the Republicans are really just slightly to the right of the Democrat left, they are spineless, and hate us as much as the Democrats. President Trump is also to blame. He knew the fraud was going to happen, and didn’t have anything in place to stop it. We won’t have a country to save by 2022, not that we’d be able to since the Republicans have let them get away with 2020 and now legalizing election fraud. What a sad state of affairs.

The man is a complete hypocrite. Couldn't answer the simplest questions and many repubs still voted for him. And, this idiot is worried about the white supremacists who live in his EMPTY FREAKIN HEAD. This while Antifa and BLM are burning cities and assaulting the police and crime in major cities is out of control. All of which have nothing to do with white supremacists. Communism has taken over our once great country.

another blunder by the Republican senators. these people are a bigger threat to our national security than any enemy abroad. my favorite Rush Limbaugh (I'll use his last name because there might be some who don't know of or never listened to Rush) quote is something like this (I paraphrase) the only time our country is safe is when congress is not in session. noticing the same names on this list by #2 as on most of the giveaway stuff the Republicans like to secretly give a "yea" vote to. shameful demonstration of cowardice but, unfortunately, there's more to come. to coin a phrase: politics is thicker than blood.

The Republicans should immediately move to have him recused. He must have passed a Russian in a hotel lobby, or something. I expect Garland will be more active than the idiot Jeff Sessions or the DC cocktail circuit guy, Bill Barr, both of whom never intended to do anything, and surpassed all expectations at it.

Man, these people live in the Twilight Zone. He is going to "uphold the integrity of the Justice Department" as though the Justice Department had any. They go after innocent people and never bother to investigate career criminals such as the Clintons or child molesters and traffickers. President Trump tried to clear out the swamp in D.C. but never could get the DOJ to do its job. They were to busy scheming and conspiring to bring him down.

Eli Lilly & Co says its combination antibody therapy is effective at treating mild to moderate cases of COVID-19. The treatment, a mixture of drugs bamlanivimab and etesevimab, was developed by Indianapolis-based Lilly and the Canadian company AbCellera. It recognizes the virus once a person is infected and attaches to it, preventing the pathogen from entering human cells, and therefore neutralizing it. In trial data released on Wednesday, Eli Lilly said the combination reduced the risk of hospitalization and death by 87 percent compared to a placebo. The results are an improvement of an earlier study of the combination, which reduced the risk of hospitalization and death by 70 percent.

When the COVID-19 pandemic started and lockdowns became part of our daily lives, some romantic souls were predicting that this would produce a baby boom. Now, as the data shows up, we see exactly the opposite. CBS obtained data from health departments in over two dozen states that shows “a 7% drop in births in December—nine months after the first lockdowns began.” Research from the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., predicts that births may well be down 300,000 to 500,000 in 2021. The prediction is based on a negative correlation between birth rates and the unemployment rate. Higher unemployment means fewer babies.
