As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill.
It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people.
But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Looking at how the media reacted to the reaction by Americans at the cancelation of some of Dr. Seuss’s books, it’s hard to tell whether they’re being obtuse on purpose or if they truly misunderstand the American people so much that their bubble stops them from experiencing reality as it is.
Case in point, here’s what one Business Insider reporter had to say about why conservatives were mad about Dr. Seuss, and I’m going to warn you, the explanation is so stupid that you may get dumber for having read it:
“The current obsession among right-wing media with Dr. Seuss and Mr. Potato Head etc. is among the most bizarre

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon announced on Monday that the state would be lifting its state-wide mask mandate as well as some other Covid-19 economic restrictions. The new order lifting restrictions will allow a number of business categories — including bars, restaurants, gyms and movie theaters — to "resume normal operations" on March 16.
Gordon, a Republican, cited the "declining number of active COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations" in Wyoming as well as the state’s "significant success" in a vaccine rollout as reasons behind the easing of restrictions.

Georgia voters who helped turn this state blue, for now, should feel cheated. President Biden came to campaign for Senator Raphael Warnock and Senator Jon Ossoff in the runoff elections. Biden told you to vote for these men in his stump speech if you wanted $2000 stimulus checks. How is that going for those of you who believed it? Now the stimulus checks are $1400 and get smaller at higher incomes until they disappear.
Not only did Biden not keep the campaign pledge he made for your new senators, but they also allowed him to sign a bill that will punish Georgia.

On the plus side, it looks like all of the hard work members of both parties have put into undermining confidence in America’s vote has really paid off. Between “stop the steal” and Russia-collusion claims, a majority of Americans think we’ve gotten the outcome of the presidential election wrong at least once over the past four-plus years, Scott Rasmussen writes about his latest findings. However, only a tiny fringe thinks we got it wrong both times: Most (56%) believe at least one of the last two presidents was illegitimately put into office. That includes 26% who believe Hillary Clinton was the legitimate winner in 2016

What is happening right now on the border and within the United States regarding illegal immigration is being misrepresented by the Biden administration and much of the media. Most nightly television broadcasts do not even mention the chaos on the border, what is causing it and what the government is doing in response. When they do, they merely copy the administration’s talking points that are inaccurate and misleading. There is currently a surge at the border. Border Patrol is apprehending more than 4,000 people a day. There was one day last week that they arrested over 4,700 people. They are calculating that there is an additional 500-1,000 escaping apprehension daily.

Was the 2020 presidential election stolen? That question continues to reverberate through our public life. Today I downloaded a new book by Patrick Byrne called The Deep Rig. It purports to tell the true story of how the Democrats stole the election, and why the Trump administration and the GOP bungled their opportunity to do something about it.
I am half-way through the book, and am not prepared to express an opinion on it. I will say this: Byrne is not a nobody. And he describes events in detail, like his account of a meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. In his telling, the heroes are quants and hackers

The number of migrant children detained in Border Patrol facilities has tripled over the past two weeks, amid an ongoing surge of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

Of those detained, over 1,360 children have been held longer than the maximum 72 hours before being transferred from Border Patrol to shelters run by the Department of Health and Human Services. However, while around 2,600 children

Overcoming universal Democratic opposition, Republicans in the Georgia Senate on Monday narrowly passed a sweeping elections omnibus bill that would eliminate no-excuse absentee voting, which was enacted by Republicans in 2005, just months after a record number of Georgians opted to cast ballots this way in the 2020 presidential election. Four Republicans did not vote on the bill, which was approved 29-20.
The legislation, SB 241, would also change the absentee ballot verification process. Instead of using the subjective signature match process, voters would be required to include their driver's license or state ID card number when applying for and returning an absentee ballot.

The move marks one part of the Biden administration’s attempts to have U.S. allies increase pressure on Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro to engage in legitimate negotiations with Venezuela interim President Juan Guaido and the opposition party.

We are hard-pressed to identify a single redeeming feature in the 600-page “stimulus” bill that has now passed the Senate and House on a strict party-line vote.
You’ve got to hand it to AOC and Bernie. These nutcases actually pulled it off!
Some of our friends point to the dollars for vaccine distribution. We don’t object to that, though if we simply let the private sector handle the vaccine program, odds are it would happen faster. The other $1.7 trillion is negative for the economy and jobs. There is nothing in this bill that stimulates the supply side of the economy -- i.e., the production of goods and services.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday sided with a former Georgia college student who sued his school after it prevented him from expressing religious views in a free-speech zone on campus. The 8-1 decision, authored by Justice Clarence Thomas, said that Chike Uzuegbunam -- who was silenced by Georgia Gwinnett College officials even after he had obtained a permit to proselytize and handout religious literature -- can seek nominal damages despite the fact that the school ultimately changed course and Uzuegbunam subsequently graduated.
In a very rare alignment of votes, Chief Justice John Roberts was the lone dissenting justice in the case.

With one hand, Biden celebrated women’s advancement, and with the other, he forced schoolgirls to share bathrooms and sports teams with biological boys.

For a group that talks about them with contempt, our journalists just LOVE to spread crackpot theories.
This past Thursday, on March 4, Washington was paralyzed. The National Guard troops were placed on high-alert with their unloaded weapons, the security fencing surrounding the Capitol was fortified, and Congress suspended its daily schedule. This was all done in preparation for a renewed assault on our nation’s capital and our democracy. The reason? The devotees of Qanon — that amorphous and overhyped cabal of political zealotry — were supposedly claiming that is the true inaugural date and that a failure of a Trump swearing-in ceremony would lead to renewed violence.

The situation at the southern border is deteriorating rapidly enough that even normally Democrat-friendly media outlets are feeling obligated to report on it. Over at The Hill, Brett Samuels provides an analysis of the current trends and the conditions that immigration officials and illegal immigrants are facing. The huge numbers of unaccompanied minors being picked up by border security is rapidly overwhelming the capacity of facilities all along the border to process. The current situation is being described as a crisis, even by some Democrats and Biden supporters and there doesn’t seem to be any plan in place to deal with the surging numbers.

The most recent signature verification numbers from the Secretary of State's Office found that about 83% of the signatures counted by early February were valid.

Meghan Markle, it seems, isn't much of a scholar.
While much of the focus has been on her barbs accusing the British royal family of abnormal interest in her baby's skin color and denying him a title and personal security protection supposedly because he is black and they are racists, what's striking to me is how unprepared she was for the royal role she sought when she married Prince Harry. And not just ignorant, but willfully ignorant, proud of her ignorance, flippantly stating she never did "any research," as if that's something to be proud of.

On Saturday, students at the University of Colorado, Boulder, fought for their right to party. Literally. The university and the city’s police department are investigating after hundreds of maskless students showed up to a mid-pandemic rager-turned-riot in the city’s University Hill neighborhood on Saturday night, injuring three SWAT responders and damaging city and private property, authorities said Sunday. Video showed one student's car, its windows already shattered, being overturned by a throng of partygoers. “Any student who is found responsible for engagement in acts of violence or other egregious acts connected to the events—including damage to property and not dispersing

President Joe Biden is undoing several foreign policy successes of the Trump administration for no apparent reason other than radical ideology and political spite. In each case, former President Donald Trump was able to achieve goals that both parties had long claimed to share. And in each case, Biden has not only hurt the interests of the United States, but reduced the leverage that he might otherwise have had to pursue foreign policy goals unique to his administration. Three examples:Border policy: President Trump signed agreements with Central American countries that slowed the flow of migrants.

One of the most despicable things about the Biden administration is that, even as it doubles and triples down on the COVID restrictions it wants for Americans, it’s utterly unconcerned about the diseases flooding across the border along with the illegal aliens Biden is unconstitutionally welcoming in. The president and CEO of Greyhound Lines, though, is demanding that, at the very least, its workers and other passengers get protected from the COVID so many illegal aliens bring with them.
From the start of his campaign, Biden weaponized the Wuhan virus against Trump. Informed and intelligent people realized very quickly that Trump was moving with extraordinary rapidity

Donald Trump has returned to his native New York City for the first time since leaving the White House. The former president waved as he arrived at his Trump Tower home in Manhattan on Sunday night. Trump, who was flanked by Secret Service and NYPD officers, arrived without his wife Melania and their son Barron. The trio had lived at Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue prior to them moving to the White House in 2017.
After leaving Washington DC in January, the Trumps have been at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Biden has issued Executive Orders that ban enforcing immigration law while simultaneously inviting in a new wave of illegal immigrants. These EOs also suspend deporting illegal immigrants, even those awaiting trial for felonies and other serious crimes, and signal that all new arrivals will be eligible for social benefits such as healthcare. Cesar Chavez’s struggle in the 1970s and ‘80s can help explain the impact this will have on labor markets in general and working-class Americans in particular. Chavez understood that illegal immigration diminishes workers’ earning power.

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

It began with throw pillows. Pillows shouldn't matter much, but like every decision we make now, they matter more than you think.
The old sofa had to go. It had lasted 25 years, by some miracle. The old sofa was U.S.-made. Only 20% of today's furniture is. It was expensive; the store owner told us we'd be able re-upholster it down the road, though that would be expensive, too. He was right on both counts. He retired. His kids run the store now.
We managed to find a new sofa, also made here. A different color. So we needed throw pillows.

H.R. 1, the Democrats’ just-passed “election reform” bill, laughably dubbed by supporters the “For The People Act,” is so bad you might be tempted to ignore it. After all, legislation this awful can’t get passed by both chambers of Congress and signed into law, right? But all Americans should take it seriously. It’s an attempt to take away your right to vote and create permanent Democratic control of the federal government.
Yes, elections have consequences, and terrible bills like this certainly prove that. Anyone who voted for the Democrats in 2020 hoping for a “turn to the center” should by

A senior-level law enforcement source in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told Breitbart Texas they received verbal orders from within the agency limiting their ability to speak freely about the growing crisis along the border.
The official with knowledge of the restrictions spoke under the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak on the matter. “The situation with media relations now is night and day compared to the last administration, The official said. “We have been advised not to speak on immigration issues at the border and to rely on DHS’s Office of Public Affairs and the Whitehouse Press Office to handle messaging.”

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab.
The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says.
After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem made headlines in 2020 for keeping her state open during the COVID-19 outbreak and opposing Faucian dictates about masks, stay-at-home orders, and church closures. To this, conservatives applauded — and rightly so. But does holding the line during a pandemic in a state with less than 900 thousand people — about the size of Charlotte, North Carolina — now warrant the frenetic swell of support for Noem among conservatives to be the next vice president or even president? Absolutely not — especially at time when the fight for constitutional conservative values is more important than ever.

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

It was a guarantee that the Biden team was going to try to slip Susan Rice somewhere in the mix of power, Rice being Barack Obama’s right hand. But it was also pretty much a guarantee that they knew the controversial Rice would have a rough time getting Senate approval from Republicans given her infamous Benghazi lies as well as her involvement in the unmasking questions. So they gave her a position that didn’t require Senate approval. She was tapped for “Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council,” a position that controls the development and implementation of the domestic policy agenda
