The bulk of seniors who are at risk from COVID have either died of the disease, survived the disease or been vaccinated against the disease. New cases are dropping quickly.
Over ten percent of the overall American population has been vaccinated – over 40 million of them – and that figure is increasing at the rate of about 11 million a week. It looks like nearly everyone who wants to be vaccinated will be vaccinated by late spring. Meanwhile, drug treatments have proved increasingly effective. Most recently, the FDA approved a drug cocktail from Eli Lilly.
There will come a time when COVID masks are no longer necessary.

Masks will not protect you...the virus is so microscopic it will get through your Kleenex mask...Fauci told us that in March 2020...what to do...take it off and don't touch your face....clean your hands and take back your freedom...we are not sheep

I tend to refer to masks as petri dishes for the face. No problem though! One is on a first name basis with all their personal germs.

Not sure I put a lot of credence in Beaton. I agree with his mask premise, but he is a pro-vaxxer, so I guess he thinks that gives him the freedom to trash masks now.

Number 3: Your tribe is doing your thinking for you. It's not all one or the other. It's possible to be pro-vax without buying into masks, and it's possible to be pro-mask without buying into vaccines.

Getting the vaccine does not prevent you from being a carrier . This is one large orchestrated group control experiment with the destruction of the large dem run cities thrown in. Now the dems rezone the 'burbs and move people their for their ( the 'burbs) destruction and complete control. Dems play the long game and have great patience.

Yep, they play the long game. Just like their soul brothers: the Jihadi and the Xihadi.

Still cannot get an appointment in my area. They are being done by big chain drugs stores. Their web sites say no appointments. It appears that they are holding vaccine back for the second shot and it all went to those older than 74. We also have an incompetent red state governor.

According to an alleged credible medical source, COVID-19 affects the lungs and wearing masks suppresses the body’s autoimmune system; that the autoimmune system needs exposure to the elements to be able to protect against disease and once the mask wearing mandate is rescinded, there will be a surge of respiratory problems such as bronchitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, and carbon dioxide poisoning. If this is factual, wearing masks for hours on a daily basis will have impacted medical professionals committed to caring for patients, as well as all other individuals mandated to wear masks on a daily basis for hours on end, and may legitimize considering whether or not “masks are killing us.”
Allegedly, some professionals contend that this coronavirus should be permitted to run its natural course as have other “plagues” throughout history rather than on-again/off-again prohibitions/mandates; accept the reality that “plagues” occur and lives will be lost.

In grade school I had teachers who convinced me to comply with directions from authority figures with hickory sticks. I can still smell those tree branches . So I wear a mask in public. Forget your hands, wash your masks.

Where I live masks are required when one is inside a public building. I put mine on at the door when I enter and take it off at the door when I leave. And I do it under protest. I’m thinking about buying a white mask and using a big black Sharpie to write “Masks Don’t Work” on the front.

Hit submit too soon. Bottom line, Glenn, if masks worked the virus would have died off in April 2020.

Number 11: You aren't recognizing the fact that many things are partially effective. You might just as well say, "If automobile airbags and seatbelts worked, there wouldn't be traffic deaths anymore.

Masks dont kill me, because I almost never wear one. Only in and out of my favorite eatery because it is worth it, and on the very rare occasions when one can get a doctor's appointment. Then its a cowboy bandana in case I feel like robbing the stage.

Anyone with money to invest, invest in lung apparatus for the future. All these poor innocent children wearing them All Day in school and even outside playing will develop some new lung disease because the human body was never meant to cover their mouth all day. I think a lot of this is all the new mask businesses that have opened up. Saw masks online the other day that cost $88 for maybe three of them.

Mrs. Lakerman, our son, and I, all had ear/sinus infections recently.
Family physician attributed it to masks.
As I have previously noted, a mask is a petri dish for acquiring/growing bacteria and viruses. Moist, warm, used for long stretches of time - bad.

I wear a mask exactly ZERO most days. When we go to dinner out, I wear a mask from the door to the table, perhaps one minute. On exit, I just don't bother. So, sue me. If I need to shop, say at a hardware store or pick up a prescription, I may wear a mask for perhaps 10 minutes that day.
I NEVER wear one out of doors. Take it off the instant I clear a door when leaving, sometimes just before I exit.
I WILL NOT be one of those idiots walking their dog without a human being within 500 yards wearing a mask. I pity those craven fools.

#5, YES IT DOES, regardless of the lies that the mask crazies put out.
IF I decide to get a vaccination, I will stop wearing a mask and just ignore any comments, or just say, "I'm vaccinated." In all other diseases EVER, being vaccinated was proof against the disease agent. Either their vaccine is not a vaccine, or they are lying about the whole bizarre concept of carrying the disease. Either way.....NOT playing their games.

Thanks for that info, #15. I had a sinus infection in January and had no idea how I got it. Now I know.
