We received a lengthy letter from Dominion's defamation lawyers explaining why they believe that their client has been the victim of defamatory statements. Having considered the full import of the letter, we have agreed to their request that we publish the following statement:
American Thinker and contributors Andrea Widburg, R.D. Wedge, Brian Tomlinson, and Peggy Ryan have published pieces on www.AmericanThinker.com that falsely accuse US Dominion Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (collectively “Dominion”) of conspiring to steal the November 2020 election from Donald Trump.

None of the evidence has been debunked....
None of the evidence has been tested in court...
Only the Dominion machines in Antrim Co, MI have been allowed to be forensically tested, and they were found to be fraudulent.
Question: who is paying Dominion's lawyers...in addition to Dominion, that is....

Unbelievable. We cannot post comments on their web posts anymore either. This is despicable and desperate by a company that has been proven to have fraudulent machines per Michigan! I’m really sad to see that American Thinker will no longer be posting the truth.

Just shows the power of deep pockets and the lawyers they can hire. No doubt they threatened to break American Thinker. It costs a whole lot of money to defend yourself against a major lawsuit and they would likely lose even if they won in court because of the huge cost. What is sometimes referred to as a pyrrhic victory.
Another front in the war on conservative thought.

It's the tyranny of lawsuits, here probably backed up by unlimited federal dollars, as they are committed to fraudulent elections henceforth, and their hands are dirty doing the same tampering in foreign countries.

Election by Algorithm may not have been our past, but it is our present, and most certainly will be our future. So let's not bother with the costly hoopla of elections in which the people will not elect their leaders. We can make Election Day a national holiday, we can have the media wait breathlessly before The Turing Palace as "The Algorithm" spits out who is anointed President, Senator, Congressman, ..Governor,...... A great national utterly rigged lottery, spinning Fortuna's dictates. We can eat cake, they can drink champagne, and All's Well with The World.

I'm speechless!!! American Thinker was one of the most reliable and true writing venues that I could read and feel good about what I read. This whole society is turning to mayhem and all because we wanted a President who would look out for us and neuter and disable our enemies. I honestly think there are MAGA people who will not take this lying down, who have gotten used to having a President who cared about us and did not consider the rest of the world before his own people. Where the hell are we headed? is all I can think and slowly but surely the infestation of the communist element will grow bigger and bigger. I am very, very afraid for our President because they will not stop until he totally destroyed and I mean TOTALLY.

Letter sounds like it was composed by Dominion, not American Thinker. It is poorly written, besides, does not sound like Thomas Lifson or any of the other writers cited, who write far better than this Dominion party holding a gun to their heads.

I once believed that having the truth on your side was sufficient in facing a malicious lawsuit. Several hundreds of thousands of dollars later, I learned differently. Many judges are risk-averse cowards, and lawyers have no financial incentive to resolve disputes fairly and quickly.
I understand the reason for this obviously forced letter. They couldn’t afford the fight; many of us (really, most of us) can’t, no matter how principled we are. A recent example: Lt. General Flynn.

It was impossible to run competent investigations on such complicated issues, as mail-in ballots, and software and electronic voting machine driven fraud in six weeks time. Maybe the State legislatures where election fraud was suspected are better situated to do such investigations will swing into action and come up with evidence of such fraud in six months or a year.

#35, you really need to get a grip. Those are not even REMOTELY similar situations.
Drudge sold out for money and power, and AT has been forced by legalized extortion to say things that they and we are certain are not true. But, extortion by big companies with huge budgets to sue you into oblivion, are effective if you want to keep your site.
"Nice site you have here, buddy. It'd be a real shame if something bad happened to it and it burned down, or got a $3 billion lawsuit for the next decade."

I would not be too critical of the AS. They had a gun to their head. Remember the crew of the USS Pueblo, who were captured by the NORKS in the 1970's and who posed for a picture. Each crew member had put the hands on knees, with both hands giving the finger. Hilarious. They were of course beaten afterwards, but everyone knew that it was forced picture, and the brutality of the NORKS was the real story.

Wow. I salute Thomas Lifson for making the best of a bad situation. What a horrible spot to be in. I don't believe a word of that statement, and agree with whomever said it sounded like it was written by Dominion. Reminds me of the dude in the Hanoi Hilton who blinked a message in morse code while he read the statement they wanted him to read.

All you folks dumping on Lifson an American Thinker are doing just what the left wants you to do. AT capitulated to a malicious threat of legal action that would effectively silence their voices even if they prevailed in court. I don't know what AT's daily traffic is, but I doubt that it exceeds a couple of hundred thousand. Pretty small potatoes to encourage Dominion to hire high powered defamation lawyers to shut them up. But not surprising in the larger scheme of things which is to shut down all conservative thought and discussion and dissent.
And on that subject, here's a point to ponder. When the Biden Administration or the Nancy Pelosi House comes after outfits such as L.com or the Freepers and asks for (demands) identifying information, such as subscribers email addresses, and employ the full force and fury of the United States government, what will the response be? I suspect that rather than mount an expensive legal contest it will be a rather meek, but defiant, "OK". My L.com subscribed email is linked to a domain that I own and a Whois search reveals my name and particulars in about 3 seconds. See how morally outraged you are when it's your turn in the censors' crosshairs.

This may deflect the heat off Dominion as a company but it doesn't absolve crooked election staff from misusing or manipulating Dominion machines to distort the vote count. The voters need to know the truth about how the totals switched to Biden while the poll watchers were absent.
