Anyone who watched the lines of people who paid their respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg as she lay in state at the Supreme Court would have noticed a peculiar atmosphere. The reactions of those filing past her coffin went far beyond ordinary, quiet, and respectful homage to the dead. (skip) What is perhaps more troubling than the accordance of sainthood on the former justice by the left are the obsequies of Christians and others who have almost fought one another in conferring honors on a person who was unalterably and ferociously opposed to everything Christianity once stood for without apology...

"...the obsequies of Christians..."
Not this one.
She was an overrated political hack in a robe, distinguished only by the fact that she never even tried to hide it or pretend otherwise.

Galatians 6:7 "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." (NKJV) Sorry, RBG, you made a life out of mocking God and I assume you are now reaping something not so good.

I could be wrong but aren't Saints recognized by Christian religions? Specifically Catholics. And we all know you cannot be a Catholic and serve on the Supreme Court. Actually being Catholic is about as low as a human being can go according to the dems. Ruthie was Jewish. Being Jewish and on the Supreme Court is okay. (Catholic, not so much.) Let's leave sainthood to the other religions. While I can appreciate her struggle in a male dominated world this fawning is a bit much. If she had retired under the obama administration instead of waiting for the other saint, Saint Hillary, to appointment her replacement this wouldn't even be happening. Ruthie was the first woman to lay in state. I was hoping Hillary would have that honor.

I didn't feel like reading this.
So are they talking about a saint in the "Church of Satan" where slaughtering babies is a "sacrament"?!?!?!?!?
Yeah, I could see where she would have earned that "honor"!!!

Maybe as she left earth she could hear the cries of those she allowed to be killed. That is the same sound Baal worshipers heard as they filed past the furnace and tossed in their newborns. Abortionists serve a hateful god. Small g.

The left has set the bar pretty low for those who they idealize as cult saints - example - Ed Kennedy was another really unethical ugly person who they held in the highest esteem.

#6, apparently RBG didn't follow any Jewish religious practices, so why would you assume that she would suddenly change in death?

RBG's death is on appeal and will soon be reversed by a split decision of her fellow Justices, if they can decide before Justice Barrett joins.

La Ginsburg was undeniably the High Priestess of the worship of the child-devouring god Ba’al.

Re #6, I thought they had to be buried within 24 hours… Embalming is not allowed, so they couldn’t be kept around for long.

Praise God for Phyllis Schlafly (and Ms. Voshell who quotes her) ! Schlafly wrote an Human Events' article in 2005 about all of Ginsberg's ridiculous & dangerous judicial preferences. She wanted males & females to be housed in the same prison facilities in order to be 'equal'. She was working for compelled speech - to remove the 'man' in most words and do away with third person 'sexist' pronouns. She thought prostitution was OK as it is 'consensual' and that the bigamy laws are unconstitutional. Yes, she was no saint.

Ginsburg's SCOTUS position on the legality of killing partially birthed babies with a scissor to the brain basing it on an argument on women's equality with men was evil, disgusting, perverted, inhuman, insane, diabolical and fanatical. She will never rest in peace.

It was disgusting enough that the elites gushed and oozed about ALL the 'boundaries' and 'ceilings' and 'borders' and 'iron curtains' and... that Ginzy broke through blah, blah. What total B.S.!!!!
Did anyone forget who our FIRST female SC Justice was? Buehler?
Yep, the Texan, Sandra Day O'Connor, nominated by Ronaldus Maximus and confirmed in 1981.

From what we have seen lately it is clear that the leftist and liberal Democrats love "State Funerals" for their departed political comrades, quite a few lately. After President Reagan died the Democrats could care less. It was interesting that the Democrat icon George Floyd got about four such funerals, a couple broadcast of national TV. While real heros, veterans of battlefields like D-Day and Iwo Jima who passed away during the pandemic got none!
