The Justice Department on Thursday dropped its prosecution of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, who had pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents about his conversations with a Russian diplomat in the weeks before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The bombshell move, which was granted promptly by the federal judge in the case, comes more than two years after Flynn’s guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with the then-ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The spin on this article is disgraceful. As someone else posted, it's journalistic malpractice to state that Flynn lied to the FBI without mentioning that he was presented with a perjury trap, then told to plead guilty or they would prosecute his son. It's also false to claim that agents were more concerned about his Russia activities, they knew there was nothing there, but they were concerned that Flynn would expose them in their dirty coup attempt. Aside from which, McCabe and the IC despised Flynn.

#1, if you dislike the spin on this, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Wait till Grenell releases the House depositions proving there was no collusion with Russia...Schiff will run and hide like a roach when you turn on the light. And the Durham report....what will the spin be when we start seeing indictments? Oh, the Left will not be pleased, not one little bit. Buy microwave popcorn NOW!

Its the same sham on MSNBC, CNN, and the rest of the anti-Trump coup media. They are actually telling people that Flynn really was a Russian agent and lied to protect his discussions with the Russian ambassador. This is obscene and refuted by the actual documents released by the DOJ. If there was any doubt about how insane the TDS infected media is and how dangerous they are to our freedoms this confirms our worst suspicions.

Flynn can sue and recoup a lot that he lost. It’s one way to get back ...it isn’t everything but it’s a start

Although Flynn has been sentenced, I assume what this means is the DOJ will not oppose any motions or an appeal. Courts normally grant unopposed motions, but it would be better if DOJ joined. If the court grants a new trial, DOJ could then move to dismiss the case. Whether the court could then appoint special counsel is an uncertainty, but if the government stipulates to grave prosecutorial misconduct and the absence of probative evidence, the court would be left with no alternative.

#5, Flynn has not been sentenced. He pled guilty, but Sidney Powell started fighting at his sentencing hearing, and pointing out huge problems with the DoJ case, and requiring documents prior to the sentencing.
I hope that this just disappears without a pardon being needed. THAT is the right thing to do.
And these persecutors need to be arrested.

If a pardon is needed to set things right we are ALL in trouble.

The FBI had no legitimate predication or basis in law to commence that investigation aimed at removing Flynn as President Trump’s National Security Advisor for political purposes. The fact that President Obama did not want Trump to hire Flynn as his National Security Advisor is irrelevant. So everything that followed was the fruit of that poisonous tree.

Comey, McCabe, and those complaining about this dropping of the case, and either part of the coup, or cheerleaders for the coup players. No doubt.

McCabe is another one that needs to be in jail. McCabe says this action "ignores the considerable national security risk his (Flynn's) contacts (the Russian ambassador) raised" but as Trump's National Security Advisor, Flynn had every right and reason to speak with the Russian ambassador. There was NO national security risk. McCabe's and the FBI's reasoning and actions was a conspiracy by anti Trump partisans.
I'll bet that McCabe can feel Dunham breathing down his neck.
