Ever since President Trump was elected, conservatives have nervously watched the poll numbers to see whether constant attacks from Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) were damaging the president’s popularity among his core constituency. Of course, Trump has sometimes suffered from self-inflicted damage — at times, he is his own worst enemy — but never in recent history has any president faced such unrelenting opposition from the moment of his election.
Trump’s shocking 2016 upset of Hillary Clinton, which contradicted nearly every expert forecast, triggered a series of events that included the “Russiagate” investigation, the Democrats’ takeover of the House in the 2018 midterm election, and Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment

This article assumes Biden will be the candidate. By the time of the convention he will be sitting in a chair watching cartoons.

Is Biden just the warm up act for the Democrat Convention in August, with either Hillary or Michelle (or both) to head the ticket? The Dems lust for power is unquenchable, and if Dems are willing to toss away the sacred “Believe all women” chant to defeat Trump, they will surely toss away Dementia Joe for a stronger candidate.
The only debate in Milwaukee could be whether it’s Clinton / Obama or Obama / Clinton.

To answer the question, yes, I think he has already won! He has been Stellar in handling this Crisis. I think people watching him every day on TV appreciated how involved he was in every detail. I also believe the majority of this country think his instincts are right on target. He did what was needed to get rid of the Virus, now he's moved on to putting our country back to where it was. He has had to fight to get everyone on board to opening up Businesses, getting Retail open and putting people back to work. We have had Flu kill more people than this Virus, but the Little Nazi convinced Trump we were going to kill half our country, so he took drastic measures. In the end, Trump was right in thinking we should not shut down and ruin our economy. I think every thing that has happened in the past two months will lead people to see how lucky we were to have Trump in Charge (and not someone like Gov. Cuomo)! So yes, I think Trump will win in a Landslide in November. I also think the Democrats know it!

What the irrational, criminally corrupt Deep State “resistance” has done to America since 2016 should deny them access to power in 2020, no matter who the Democrats run or how the election turns out. –Vets for Trump 2020

"It's never over 'til the check clears". President Trump has probably said that sometime in his business career. Lot of loose ends still out there, like possible voter fraud.

NO Trump has NOT. And articles like this risk Republican supporter complacency and again losing not the Presidency but certainly the House. We must remain scared and vigilant so that Trump won't have to deal with another 4 years of Congressional interference with doing his job - the job we need him to finish.

If President Trump is sometimes his own worst enemy (I'm so tired of hearing writers who think they must include this obligatory virtue signaling...) then what about Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, McConnel, Hillary, Obama, and every other democrat/RINO politician?
Unlike President Trump, they are not only their own worst enemies, but also the worst enemies of the American people!

I'm so aggravated with the "Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million" mantra. The lawsuit that the county of Los Angeles lost (due to the efforts of Judicial Watch) showed that there was possibly 2.5 million more voters on the rolls than actually eligible to vote.
The Wuhan virus is killing a lot of elderly, some who would have voted Republican. THey will all vote Democrat now.

All this speculation about what the polls mean or don't mean is a waste of time.
Is Trump a much stronger candidate with his base and moderates than he was in 2016? Yes. How Trump would actually govern was uncertain and his temperament was being challenged. We now KNOW and it is good news to Republicans. He has fulfilled his promises, met challenges well, and, in governing, is rock steady in process and in dealing with others. There is YUGE enthusiasm with Trump voters. Trump has more money than the dems. He is a stronger candidate.
Is Biden, or any possible dem, as well established and with the clout of the White House, bureaucracy, and media behind them as Hillary was? No. BO's cabal of political hitmen is largely disbanded. Their spying channels have been cut off. There are likely indictments coming down against bureaucratic partisans and BO is likely to be slimed in the process. Dems are fractured and there is infighting. Depending on who actually runs, there is likely to be significant dissatisfaction within the party. Beyond that, there are factions peeling off already; Blacks, Hispanics, Women, Youth that for their own reasons are fed up with dems. In general, there is low energy of support toward the party and almost all candidates. Comrade Bernie is the only one to rouse the fanatics and that is a BIG loser for the general election. Plus, the media has been severely crippled by their insane vendetta against Trump. They no longer have narrative control and their "big" stories regularly crash and burn withing days or even hours. They have beclowned themselves as have many of the dem leaders. Biden and all dems are much weaker.
Trump is stronger. Dems are weaker. We don't need polls to figure that out.

Thanks for the shot in the arm, but I'd rather keep running like we're behind and have a long way to go.
Remember, President Trump won by 70,000 votes in Wis., Mich., and Pa. That, in my book, is a rounding error that went our way. It goes the other way, and we're under the tyrannical reign of Queen Hillary the Rotten. Look how these tin-horn Democrat governors and mayors are acting now and think how it would be under Ms Clinton under these circumstances. Of course, about a million of us would be dead, but besides that ...
Plus, we need to win back the House and keep the Senate. Both tough, tough jobs.

#9. Seriously? Covid19 is killing elderly so we will lose the election? Hardly. 74k out of 342 million people in America?

Given everything that has been thrown at President Trump, I think he has handled it as best as he could. Yesterday, I read an article on this website about President Trump and the first poster stated he did not like Trump. I wish I could comment on it now but don't remember if I did yesterday.
I would ask the poster why he doesn't like President Trump. I would also ask him if he has been to one of his rallies or met him in person. My respect for him and Melania is higher every day. He puts a lot of sweat equity in this country. Something I haven't seen in ages. He is not afraid to work - how can you dislike that?

Two facts for Trump and one against. One, right from the beginning he ran against globalism and by proxy the national elite. His hand is much stronger because of his record and the devastation of COVID. Two, whether or not it is Biden the candidate HAS to be globalist and has to be corrupt. Trump will clean his/her clock in any debate. As for the negative. Hillary lost four key states by just 70,000 votes mainly because of hubris. The 'Rats won't make that mistake again. The consistent attempts to include vote-by- mail AKA vote fraud is indicative of where their thinking is.

Don't get too confident. The Demonrats are desperately plotting. We need to keep out heads in this fight, and never assume that we can relax.

With an all-absentee vote, I bet you more than half of the covid-19 dead will vote, and most will vote Democrat (like dead voters usually do).

Don't get overconfident, fellow patriots. We not only need to re-elect President Trump, we need to widen our majority in the Senate and TAKE BACK THE HOUSE!
