Back in early 2018, the FBI under newly minted Director Chris Wray issued an extraordinarily rare public rebuke of a sitting House committee chairman. Then-House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes had just issued a memo concluding that the FBI under Wray’s predecessor, James Comey, abused the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act process to improperly spy on President Trump’s campaign. Wray fired back, even though the issues didn’t happen on his watch, suggesting Nunes had given an inaccurate picture to the American public.

If he doesn't quit today, FIRE HIM. He's been part of the cover-up attempt.

I am sure POTUS knows by now that Wray was a big mistake. I trust him to rectify the situation.

The whole Flynn affair is quite amazing. After investigators concluded thay did not have sufficient evidence to warrant further investigation their bosses carry on trying to find a way to get him to lie. A convenient crime.
Flynn apparently isn't too bright though. When the cops tells you that you don't need a lawyer …. YOU NEED A LAWYER.
It's NOT a crime for them to lie to you.. Recommend reading book title "You Have The Right To Remain Innocent."

Just looking at Wray's body language the past years was enough to see he's a crook and covering up. Fire him and the upper brass of the FBI.

It is crystal clear now that the FBI had nothing on Gen. Flynn, but Strzok somehow needed to inquire with the case manager to see if he had officially closed RAZOR, which he had not. To which, Strzok advised he not close it, as the "7th floor"(senior executive level) wanted it kicked up to them.
Who asked Strzok to inquiry on the status of RAZOR, and knowing there was nothing derogatory, simply plowed ahead regardless?
The plot against the Office of the President of the United States was hatched by the previous administration senior executives (Biden, Rice, Brennan, Clapper, to name a few) who were in a meeting where Comey advised he was going to brief President-elect Trump on those salacious, yet unverified, Russian dossier. Possibly earlier, but this meeting is known, and part of the record.
This was so the media could use that briefing as gravitas for their Russian collusion allegations.
And, the admission from Comey bragging how he sent in two FBI agents 4 days after Inauguration, during the chaos of the incoming administration, to interrogate Gen.Flynn.
I believe they also used this chaos to ensure AG Sessions would "do the right thing" and recuse himself since he was part of the Trump campaign, thus, ensuring they had "their man" in charge of the information flow.
Amazing how so much of the information coming out was part of the Mueller report, but redacted for no other reason than it would be embarrassing to the FBI and DOJ.

Don't forget, all FBI employees involved with Special Counsel were still under FBI direction. Who collected and cleaned the FBI issued cell phones of Strzock and Page?

Wray's assignment was clearly to cover up everything that his predecessor did, and make sure that the fewest of the criminal, traitorous cabal got fired, to prevent damage to the heart of the traitorous coup folks.
Probably to prevent a proper cleanout and destruction of all of The Zero's hard work to convert the FBI into a mix of Gestapo and KGB.
Wray needs to be charged with obstruction of justice and jailed himself.

If I was Faye Wray, or whatever his name is, I wouldn't make any work-related plans after Nov. 4 or 5 or so.

It sounds easy for Trump to fire Wray. I have no doubt he knew he was a rat fink when he took the reins of the FBI. Trump has so many battle fronts that he will not be able to do any wholesale firings until WE THE PEOPLE fight and work like crazy to get him reelected. The FBI needs to be disbanded, redone and renamed. Its name has about as much honor attached to it now as the name Bush.

Did one of these Congressmen demand Wray's resignation or call on PDT for his dismissal? No, just more boob bait. I can just hear Rep. Jack Benny..."Now, cut that out!" Cue the laugh track.

I don't see Wray being fired before the election. The dems & media would make Wray a hero and go out of their way to trash whomever the President nominated as a replacement. Flynn won't replace Wray. Flynn was railroaded and was deprived of his constitutional rights, but he hasn't exactly proven he can outsmart the FBI's anti-Trump crooks. Flynn's attorney would be a better fit, but may not want to take the pay cut.
