The criminal case against Michael Flynn imploded Friday. First, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia provided Flynn’s legal team with documents discovered by an outside review of the Flynn prosecution — documents withheld for years. Then, Sidney Powell, the attorney who took over Flynn’s defense nearly a year ago, filed new documents in the case, revealing a secret “lawyers’ understanding” not to prosecute Flynn’s son if the retired lieutenant general pleaded guilty.
The criminal case against Flynn began when President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser pleaded guilty Dec. 1, 2017, to lying to the FBI about conversations he’d had with the Russian ambassador following Trump’s election.

FTA:
While the documents remain blocked from public view, Powell’s Friday court filing — captioned as a “Supplement to Mr. Flynn’s Motion to Dismiss for Egregious Government Misconduct” — portrayed the previously withheld material as explosive. “This afternoon,” Powell wrote, “the government produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence that proves Mr. Flynn’s allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI.”
“It also defeats any argument that the interview of Mr. Flynn on January 24, 2017 was material to any ‘investigation,’” Flynn’s attorney wrote.

This should be more than enough to put Brennan, Lynch, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, and Baker in jail.
Now to go after the big fish - - Little 0bie and The Beast - - and their acolytes Rice, Blumenthal, Kramer, Boente, Rosenstein, Yates, Power, Ohr, Carlin, et alia.
Happy hunting Mr. Barr and Mr. Durham!

Billy Barr has already told everyone that he’s going to protect the institutions and not take everyone down. The institution he’s protecting most is “The Swamp” and those hoping for a hero (or even a decent, honorable man) are kidding themselves.

Egregious government conduct? Let's talk about the conduct of Flynn's highly paid hired guns from Covington & Burlington, who were at least half of the tangoing couple burning up the dance floor. And what did Flynn know? Was he informed of all this wheeling and dealing, and bought his ticket to the pokey anyways? It would seem the obvious answer is he knew what his lawyers were negotiating regarding Junior. Everyone with a law degree on both sides understood the implications of the "unofficial agreement". I cannot believe this was a deal entered willingly into by both sides. Pleading guilty to a crime he didn't commit is about the height of stupidity; father protecting son angle notwithstanding.
There's much more to this than the government acting badly...

Correction to above post: I cannot believe this was NOT a deal entered willingly into by both sides.

The people behind this, the FBI agents, prosecutors and government lawyers should have to personally reimburse Flynn's legal fees and damages. Otherwise, if the Taxpayers pick up the tab, wrong doers never learn a lesson. We need to end the liability exemptions for people working for the government.

From what I have been reading about this the past several weeks, Flynn's lawyers as well as the prosecutor involved should all be disbarred and sued by Flynn and Powell until there is nothing left of their reputations or bank accounts. Include the agents as well. The precedents that Mueller and the FBI set for how investigations are run are going to trickle down to any local or state DA/AG that wants to advance politically. We know they will.

I still wonder whether his original lawyers were part of the deep state dance?

To all the people in this country who firmly remain in the 'gotta be negative and hate Barr too' camp, do those folks not understand that rooting out corruption IS a form of protecting an agency? You protect something by rooting out and exposing all corruption from the body. That way the body has a chance to heal. Some people are just so blind in their doom that they cannot see any other course of action except evil. That is truly sad, and kind of pathetic to only see pessimism and doom, not being willing to accept there is another explanation if they would only think about it for a change.
What do they think Trump has been doing, but protecting this nation by cleaning out the rot of the Swamp as best he can?

Pres Obama wanted Flynn gone, but not sure exactly why. I know Flynn disagreed with Pres Obama and I'm thinking Flynn knows something detremenetal to Pres Obama.

Concerning the #11 post: Possibly the FBI, not Obama, wanted Flynn gone. I recall reading long ago that Flynn had personally sent the FBI a written statement in support of a female FBI employee who was (probably) receiving unwarranted top-down hassling from FBI officials.

Seems to be a common theme from DOJ prosecutors?

#11, Flynn was head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. He had access to information that very few have. Take it from there.

Rest assured, once Ms. Powell is done dealing with a Stupid 'Deep State Protecting' Judge, she will sue everyone involved, top to bottom...The Govt. Slugs/Attorneys, Flynn's Attorneys for selling him out, the FBI leadership, Mueller and his band of Thugs et al.
This will be great theater since the DOJ isn't about to take out their OWN, Ms. Powell will do it for them...and Bankrupt ALL of them in the process! I'm sure when this started she took the case on contingency knowing she'd make a Gazillion Bucks!

I really hope that General Flynn is released entirely very soon.
And WHEN WILL THESE CRIMINALS in the FBI be indicted for these obvious crimes?

Unless a BUNCH of FBI, CIA and DoJ folks go to prison for many years - THIS IS THE NEW NORMAL.
Dems will do this again and again, knowing that nothing will be really done, even if they are "caught"....."caught" doesn't mean anything bad happens.
