‘Cartels are scrambling’:
Virus snarls global drug trade

Original Article

Coronavirus is dealing a gut punch to the illegal drug trade, paralyzing economies, closing borders and severing supply chains in China that traffickers rely on for the chemicals to make such profitable drugs as methamphetamine and fentanyl. One of the main suppliers that shut down is in Wuhan, the epicenter of the global outbreak. Associated Press interviews with nearly two dozen law enforcement officials and trafficking experts found Mexican and Colombian cartels are still plying their trade as evidenced by recent drug seizures but the lockdowns that have turned cities into ghost towns are disrupting everything from production to transport to sales.

Drug cartels are the exclusive creation of the "War On Drugs." No "War On Drugs" - - no drug cartels. When was the last time there was a gang war over liquor sales? Oh yeah - - 1932 during Prohibition. And is alcoholism more prevalent and more of a social problem in the 88 years since Prohibition was ended? No - - it is not. It's less of a problem. The completely failed "War On Drugs" will soon be old enough to get Social Security benefits. Still waiting for a Prohibitionist to explain when and how it will end - - - - - - - -

Could not happen to a more deserving bunch of crooks. I still have to wonder how many of our own politicians are being bought by the Cartels though. The politicians sure had a bad reaction to Trump shutting stuff like air travel and our borders down. Heh heh heh heh.

Perhaps they should consider switching their labs from methamphetamines to hydrochloroquine.

I have been praying for productive "home rehab" that is going on all across this nation. The ultimate key to both the drug war and human trafficking is in reducing U.S. demand.

I'm confident that cartel weaknesses are being examined carefully. The analysis should provide additional ways to combat the drug plague.

#6 is correct. The only real way to stop drug profits is to lower demand. That will take self-responsibility and that's been bred out our welfare generations.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Hours after Governor Mike DeWine asked the Ohio Board of Pharmacy to reconsider its decision banning the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine to treat COVID-19 in Ohio, the board has withdrawn the rule. The board said the decision was made "as a result of the feedback received by the medical and patient community and at the request of Governor DeWine."   "This will allow the Board to reexamine the issue with the assistance of the State Medical Board of Ohio, clinical experts, and other stakeholders to determine appropriate next steps," the board said in a statement.  DeWine said Thursday morning he thought the decision to use the drugs should be made between a doctor and a patient.   Corrections*

The withdrawal was heavily criticised even by Mr Trump's Republican allies.

A radical Muslim terror group called National Thowheed Jamath was blamed Monday for the devastating suicide bombings that killed at least 290 and injured 500 in Sri Lanka. Cabinet spokesman Rajitha Senaratne said that seven suicide bombers from the domestic group were behind the coordinated attacks — but insisted overseas terrorists likely helped. “We do not believe these attacks were carried out by a group of people who were confined to this country,” Senaratne said. “There was an international network without which these attacks could not have succeeded.”

We have witnessed the end of the caliphate – the brutal empire that once ruled over 8 million people – is gone. Troops here are now bringing down the black flags of ISIS. The flags no longer fly over the town, instilling fear.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
