The Senate overwhelmingly acquitted President Trump on both articles of impeachment against him Wednesday afternoon following a brief trial, in a historic rejection of Democrats' claims that the president's Ukraine dealings and handling of congressional subpoenas merited his immediate removal from office.
All Democratic senators supported convicting the president of abuse of power and obstruction of justice, including swing-vote moderate Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., and Doug Jones, R-Ala.
The only party defection was on the abuse of power charge from Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah,

If I was President? I’d cancel all the government contracts in Utah until Pierre Delecto is booted out of town.

Mitten (Marie Antoinette) Romney’s head is now on the block. I don’t think the residents of Utah are going to be kind to him.

Little blurb above refers to Doug Jones as R-AL. He's a Dem. And he NEVER EVER should have been elected in Alabama.

You would think they know better than to list Doug Jones as (R-AL).

Sadly, I'll bet the Dems were able to keep all of their folks in line AFTER Romney voted with them, to provide the "bi-partisan" vote.

Keep Mittens action in mind. Now we know what HE thinks is a threshold for a crime worthy of impeachment. Better keep your nose clean, carpetbagger.

"There She Is, Miss America" by Bernie Wayne -- Also known as "Senator Romney's Personal Theme Song" cuz Mitt is all about Mitt "Look-At-Me!" Romney.
There she is, Miss America . . . There she is, your ideal . . . The dreams of a million girls . . . Who are more than pretty . . . May come true in Atlantic City . . . Oh she may turn out to be . . . The queen of femininity
There she is, Miss America . . . There she is, your ideal . . . With so many beauties . . . She'll take the town by storm . . . With her all-American face and form . . . And there she is . . . Walking on air she is . . . Fairest of the fair she is . . . Miss America!

Mitt Romney has screwed the pooch. I hope McConnell finds an office in the Senate Office Building that's in the basement, next to the restroom, and puts Romney in it. He'll probably find he's persona non grata at any Republican gathering. I hope the citizens of Utah find a way to hold a recall election and throw him out.

Well if they are going to impeach a President because they don’t agree with the deliberative processes including policy disagreements and arguments between the President and his advisors that take place before the elected President makes the final decision, just about every future President is going to be impeached anytime the opposite political party controls the House of Representatives.

Part of my motivation every election is to cancel at least one rat vote. Especially satisfying when I dedicate that neutering vote to chuck schumer. After this debacle if voters in other states aren't motivated to register and vote out ever rat senator they can, kiss the sudden turnaround of this country goodbye.

"Mitt Romney is a politically unprincipled opportunist. If elected to the Senate, he will be a thorn in President Trump´s side. If impeachment proceedings move forward, Romney very well may be the knife in our President´s back."

Not aging too well the guy with too much shoe polish in his hair is he?? One thing will be clear to this low life, he will never, ever be president! No one will forget his pompous articles that he wrote previously nor his pathetic explanation today. Hope the people of Utah throw this prostitute out and with him the Mike Lee Sausage! They will make excellent CNN guests and Dems once they join the other looser party! The president gave him a fundraiser, stumped for him in Utah and Mitt crawled back after the President who thankfully did not give him the job he wanted. What a sour, jealous ugly aging man without a spine!

Well, Mike Lee has driven the final nail in his coffin, as far as I am concerned, with this sad, ridiculous, illogical statement.
I used to think that Sen. Lee had some spine, some brains and was a good guy. No longer. He is clearly just another worthless, lying politician.
