Sen. Cory Booker announced Monday that he will end his campaign after failing to qualify for the Democratic debate planned for Tuesday in Iowa. "It was a difficult decision to make, but I got in this race to win, and I've always said I wouldn't continue if there was no longer a path to victory," Booker said in an email to supporters Monday. The New Jersey Democrat's announcement came a day before six presidential candidates will participate in the CNN/Des Moines Register's debate in Des Moines, Iowa. He did not qualify for the event. It also came as the Senate gears up for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.

"And another one bites the dust." Pretty soon there will be no one left but a bunch of old, really old, white people in the running. I guess seventy is the new forty.

How can you restore a sense of community and mend the moral fabric of America when you spend most of your time lobbing the race card instead of practicing what you preach. And I'm sure that you continue to throw that race card to place the blame for your failure to be the Democrat candidate to everybody except where it belongs, which is all on yourself.

#2, far left son and family visited over the weekend. He is fully engaged in the 2020 campaign, now supporting Bernie, but that is subject to change. He wants DJT to be defeated.
When we discussed Kamala Sutra and Miss Corey, the success of Barack, and the failure of Kamala and Corey, this is how I explained it to him.
In the olden days of the Catholic Church, a erson was not to take Holy Communion, unless their sins were confessed and forgiven.
When Barack Obola ran for president, many white voters put themselves in a state of race, with any racist slights forgiven, by voting for Barack - twice.
Kamala Sutra and Miss Corey each ran for president, believing that the same phenomenon might work for them. But it didn't. Whitey implicitly sad,' Once is enough. My racist slights have been permanently forgiven, with my votes for Barack.'
Little Castro and the fake mexican on the skateboard, Beto, might have believed they could dredge up guilty support. That dog didn't hunt, though.
That leaves us with two old white guys, duking it out, with Cherokee Lizzie fading rapidly. Peter the Homosexual will do well in Iowa and New Hampshire, but bomb out in South Carolina.
And I still believe there will be a deadlocked convention, with the eventual nominee still unseen, waiting in the wings.

Thank God. We don't have to listen to his phony, race-baiting BS anymore (at least as a presidential candidate).
What a joke of a candidate this guy was. So long Spartacus, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

The Dems (and the nation) are still recovering from the last black President we’ll ever see. Hateful, openly racist leadership (not skin color) has created millions of Republicans who used to be Democrats. This current crop of nominees will accidentally do their best to assist with BLEXIT. Many would rather vote for Pimp Daddy Donald Trump than QP Joe (who’s looking more like Jeff Dunham’s character “Walter” every day) or Sweet Pete Bootygieg.

This CNN article reads like an obituary. Not a unkind thing to say about the now deceased candidate.
Reagan referred to Biden as a "smooth demagogue." I put Booker in the same category, only dumber and always expecting forgiveness because he is liberal and even more so because he is black.
He can talk a good talk, though! I must admit that the first time I ever heard him, speaking with and about Rabbi Schmooley Boteach, I was impressed. I need to be more careful sometimes.

I always felt like Booker was running for VP. If he ends up second on the ticket with Biden or Sanders and the latter should win, it would still be even money that he’d be president before 2024.
