So, just who is this top Iranian general the U.S. just eliminated?
For many of us who watch and analyze news out of the Middle East daily, he was the world’s number one bad guy.
Qassim Soleimani has been in control of Iran’s Quds Force for more than 20 years. His current greatest hits include helping Bashar al Assad slaughter hundreds of thousands of his own people in the Syrian civil war, stoking the Houthis in Yemen’s civil war, and overseeing the killing of hundreds of Iraqi protesters recently demonstrating against Iranian influence in their country.

Democrats are decrying President Trump’s decision to take out Soleimani because they know it will strike fear in the hearts of our enemies. They know that the bad guys realize that there is a guy at the helm that has the courage to act when provoked. Soleimani didn’t realize who he was up against. Trump is no Obama. Our President is making it clear, you attack any American or facility and there will be a price to pay. This not only sends a message to the Middle East but to our friends in the Far East. As far as this starting a real war, I believe the bad guys are going to think twice because this President is going to fight to win and now he has the means to do it. He will shock and awe them to death and they know it.

When you consider all the fine young men who have been killed or badly injured in the everlasting "Afghanistan War" (think it is going on close to 18 YEARS), you've got to assume that our boots-on-the-ground much prefer President Trump's Rules of Engagement than those of W. Bush and/or Obama.

FTA - "We’re already hearing from a number of critics that this move will likely backfire against the U.S. and will provoke Iran to retaliate even more forcibly against American and its allies. To those people making those warnings, there’s really only one thing to say: “Welcome to the party, pal!”" Dims and msm excepted.
The world will be a much better place without him. Enjoy eternity in hell, Qassie. Kimmie from NK, notice how things work when you don't behave.

Iran is our enemy, there is no doubt of that, but think for a minute about a Treaty we bought with them with American money.
A fake treaty that was suposed to stop their Nuclear program from building a bomb.
They never stopped, they never slowed down, they just hid their s\efforts a little better if they did anything at ALL.
What enemy gave them those Billions and signed off on that phony treaty?
The same enemy who met with the Viet Cong in Paris.
The same enemy who went to them and told them to wait out Trump.
The same enemy who in conjunction with our Muslim President was selling us out and using our own money to do it.
Our enemy is within . Those in Congress who would impeach our President, and those who are behind them with their big cash who pay to get them elected.

Somehow, some way, this will be turned into an item of impeachment. Please, Nancy, do it, impeach the President for protecting American people.
Then talk to the people who were abandoned in Benghazi. Which scenario does America like better?

Keep this in mind: We took out the top military leader of a country that had just attacked US soil. You will hear the word assassination ad-nauseam . Just because the landscape of the 21st century battlefield has taken on a different form than the liner formations of the past, this is no different than any general who strayed within sniper range and got killed in the 19th century. The propagandists will go to great lengths and we'll find ourselves accidentally using their words and aiding their spin if we aren't vigilant.
Come to think of it their claim that we couldn't do a thing reminds me of General Sedgwick who's famous last words were “They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance.”

I heard him described as a combination Chief of staff/ head of the CIA/ James Bond.
A Time to Betray: The Astonishing Double Life of a CIA Agent Inside the Revolutionary Guards of Iran by Reza Kahlili, was a real eye opener for me regarding the Guard.
(I also noticed huge pupils in the close up pictures they are showing of this guy.)

When Qaddafi acted up, Reagan taught him a lesson. He renounced terrorism and promised to be good. Hillary didn't like that and had him killed. Republicans make peace, Democrats thrive from making the world a bad place to live. Remember their motto: Never let a good crisis go to waste.

This feels like the beginning of rational fight against murderous Islam... whose members should never have been allowed to enter the US... and which was/is supported by Kerry, Obama, and the Rad Dems. No Islamists... no Communists... no DeepState... and America will continue as the Land of the Free. We have a great Patriot and American Hero as President!

Gee, Chris, did Smidgen get congressional authority before he dropped $150 billion taxpayer dollars into the Mullah’s laps?
And Chris, we provoke the Iranians by simply existing. Smidgen proved that there is no appeasing them so the only way to deal with them is deadly force. I think they got the message.
Thank you President Trump!

Demonrats would squeal "process crimes!" if the POTUS brought peace to the world, cured cancer, and solved world hunger. These Iranian barbarians remind me of the Cuban secret police, who would go to war torn hellholes, like Vietnam and Africa, to practice interrogation techniques on prisoners, and teach local revolutionary warlords how to cause chaos and misery to bring about Communism. In this case to bring about Islamism, which is more evil than Communism, imo.

Iran just found out this isn't the era of dimwit Jimmy Carter or golf ball shanking Skinny Boy on the links. President Trump is playing for his country and people not globe trotting apologizing to despots, mullahs or other middle eastern rascals.
Take that Valarie Jarrett former leader of the country and puppet master for the Obamas.

Soleimani made two or three mistakes.
First off, he imagined Nancy Pelosi knew something.... which she didn't, and secondly, he imagined Trump, the FBI, CIA, etc are totally oblivious to Tarmac meetings in large airports.
Apparently Trump knows something and he always hits back harder.
Soleimani is just the first of many Iranian creeps who will now be disposed of like yesterday's garbage.
Oh, and it has only a little bit to do with recent Iranian attacks on Americans ~ the reason for the targeting of Iran's leadership elite is simple ~ just a couple of months back the regime tracked down and murdered over 1,000 young people ~ men and women, boys and girls ~ who'd done nothing but object to being systematically starved to death by the regime.
We don't have a war with Iran's population, but the mad dog killers in charge of the place have failed to maintain the quanat system, have drilled large wells into limited fossil water sources, and left the country helpless in the face of a record breaking drought (part of that 400 year cycle that recurring brings down even Chinese dynasties).
What the Middle East can't deal with, and neither can the Russians to the North, is a body of 70 million Iranians fleeing the highlands seeking to find water to drink and food to eat ~ but that's coming unless Iran finds some competent, modern people to run the place!

Not Jimmy Carter anymore. The Lord of the Ring is gone. People were dancing in the streets in Iraq and rejoicing on Twitter from Iran. To paraphrase Lindsey Graham, a country dependent on oil refining like Iran should reflect about what to do after the three day mourning period is over.

#13, i think you have just added a letter to the “D” after omar’s name: Ilhan Omar (DE-Mn)— Domestic Enemy.
I think the primary aspect of the elimination was that we knew where he was in real time- quite a sobering fact for cockroaches. It was a foretaste of reality for insects used to obola’s irreality.

The Democrats have labeled the killing of Soleimani an assassination. This wasn't an assassination as that would imply that Soleimani had some type of political leadership role in the world. This slime ball was the leader of Iranian terrorists so his demise should be considered as the euthanizing of a rabid dog!
