A sign of the times, that historians one day will puzzle over: Psychiatrists Organize Campaign to Declare Trump ‘Dangerous,’ Back Impeachment. The campaign involves the usual suspects: Psychiatrists with the World Mental Health Coalition are soliciting signatures in a campaign to support the impeachment of President Donald Trump predicated on claims that he is mentally unstable. Or, put another way, on the ground that he is a Republican. In an email forwarded to PJ Media, three psychiatrists with the coalition ask other psychiatrists to sign on to a petition to the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee to include a statement on Trump’s supposed mental instability into the official record of the impeachment inquiry.

In a February 2018 memo that earned him noting but opprobrium and abuse, Rep. Devin Nunes laid out the truth of the FISA abuse underlying the Obama administration’s surveillance of the Trump campaign. Rep. Adam Schiff disputed the Nunes memo with a competing memo of his own. Following the Department of Justice Inspector General report issued last week by Michael Horowitz, however, Schiff has been incapacitated from keeping up this particular ruse.
We have come to know Schiff as something of a pathological liar. Nunes now seeks to conduct an intervention.

RUSH: Did you see that the Drive-Bys actually fired a reporter? I didn’t even know Newsweek was around. I guess Newsweek is a Web only thing now since magazines are in such dire straits. But there was an infobabe for Newsweek. What’s her name? Jessica Kwong, K-w-o-n-g. Jessica Kwong tweeted on Wednesday, “How is Trump Spending Thanksgiving? RUSH: So given that this is happening, yesterday I offered Pelosi a way out of this. I gave her a philosophical way out, and that is to say that, while the evidence is overwhelming and we all know that Trump is scum and we know that he attempted to meddle and we know that he attempted to investigate his own opponent, we know, we know, we know, we know, we still have to deal with partisan Republican bigots who happen to run the Senate. And there’s no way that they’re going to join us in agreement that Trump needs to go.
In fact, he’s gonna be acquitted.
Dems mull Mueller impeachment count

House Democrats reportedly are considering whether to pursue in their impeachment inquiry matters arising from the Mueller investigation. Specifically, they are looking at whether President Trump lied to Robert Mueller.
The Washington Post’s report on this development is based on representations made by House Democrats to the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C. The Dems told the court that they need secret grand jury evidence from the Mueller probe to be released in order to consider, as part of their impeachment inquiry, whether Trump lied to Mueller.
With Santa Clarita not even a distant memory, anti-gun voices are already using it to demand more gun control. Even before the facts were known, Sen. Dick Blumenthal demanded the Senate capitulate to his whims and pass a universal background check bill that wouldn’t have done anything to prevent the shooting as far as anyone can tell.
This is normal for anti-gunners. They routinely prattle about how we need more gun control after a mass shooting.
However, Santa Clarita is in California, the most gun controlled state in the nation.

What we saw on display Wednesday were two dedicated, experienced career foreign policy officials who had been desperately trying to figure out what the president wanted — and inferring his intentions based on snippets of information from others. But their efforts to divine Trump’s desires presume that the president knew what he wanted.
It’s not clear he did. His handling of Ukraine seemed less the execution of an intelligible plan than a chaotic mishmash of constantly changing urges and demands.

I was able to watch the first hour and a half of today’s impeachment hearing until a prior, far more enjoyable commitment took precedence. I saw the opening statements of Adam Schiff and Devin Nunes, plus the opening statements of today’s two witnesses, George Kent and Bill Taylor.
Here are my impressions:
Schiff devoted his opening statement to a summary of what he says the evidence will show. He presented his statement in measured-sounding tones, a welcome departure from his previous attempt to put words in President Trump’s mouth.
Most of the facts Schiff presented are supported by documents and/or testimony.

Today the House Intelligence Committee holds its first public hearings in the Schiff show. The Schiff show is a sort of preface to the impeachment article(s) that the House will send over to the Senate before the end of the year. Something’s happening here. Why is the House Intelligence Committee holding impeachment hearings in search of a high crime or misdemeanor?
The structure of the production has struck me from the beginning as a variation of the Russia hoax that consumed the first two-plus years of the Trump administration. The Ukraine matter is to usher in the end of the Trump era by hook or by crook.
Name the Democrat who is super-excited to have Michael Bloomberg barge into the Dem primaries like some nutty ex-girlfriend who gave you crabs popping in at your wedding. Where is the groundswell of support behind this pint-sized presidential aspirant? Perhaps the Democratic consultants who didn’t sign up with one of the other goofy candidates are happy. The micro-zillionaire may not have charisma or a vision or actual human support, but he’s got endless bucks to squander on electoral parasites.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man.
Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.

Most of these "experts" are hard left mental basket cases themselves. They are practicing "long distance psychiatry" on the POTUS simply for political and personal gain. Diagnosing anyone with mental illness, without even seeing the patient in question, is the worst form of malpractice there is.
