A Coatesville, Pennsylvania, convenience store customer foiled an alleged Tuesday night robbery attempt by shooting the suspect multiple times. Daily Local News reports the incident occurred in the Turkey Hill Market, where the suspect allegedly displayed a firearm and “demanded money from employees.” The concealed permit holder went into the store, drew his gun, and shot the suspect multiple times. Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents and a K-9 arrested four Mexican nationals who illegally crossed the Canadian border into Vermont. Agents assigned to the Swanton Sector’s Tactical Communications Center (TCC) notified agents about a possible illegal border crossing near Highgate, Vermont. Agents deployed to the area with a K-9 team to track down the group of migrants, according to information obtained from Border Patrol officials. The search team found a group of three people about 200 yards off a main road in the area. Agents found the migrants hiding in the brush, officials stated. A fourth person fled on foot.

According to a local news report, First Coast Technical College in Florida suspended a student who posted a photo of herself holding a legally purchased firearm on her Facebook page. The student, Dai’mon Royster, filed a lawsuit in federal court this week alleging that the college violated her constitutional rights when they suspended her over the photo. A bill passed on Wednesday by the Illinois House would require gun owners to be fingerprinted and pay more for identification cards. The state Senate still must approve the bill before it could be signed into law. Democratic Rep. Kathleen Willis of Addison, citing deficiencies in the state's current Firearm Owner's Identification system, said the bill comes in response to a shooting at a factory in Aurora where six people, including the gunman, were killed, according to The Associated Press.

Bob Mueller decided to shoot up the town before he rode off into the sunset. It is fair enough to observe that in his short but explosive speech, delivered at the Justice Department Wednesday morning, the special counsel did not say anything that wasn’t already set forth in his report — a point being emphasized by the White House. The sprawling report is 448 pages long, however. In his nine-minute address, Mueller quite consciously highlighted the portions of the report that fuel the Democrats’ calls for impeachment. Mueller was adamant that he did not make a finding on whether President Trump should be charged with obstruction of justice
