A Coatesville, Pennsylvania, convenience store customer foiled an alleged Tuesday night robbery attempt by shooting the suspect multiple times.
Daily Local News reports the incident occurred in the Turkey Hill Market, where the suspect allegedly displayed a firearm and “demanded money from employees.”
The concealed permit holder went into the store, drew his gun, and shot the suspect multiple times.
Fox 29 reports that the suspect was identified as Lawrence Galloway. He suffered “multiple gunshot wounds to the lower torso” and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Swanton Sector Border Patrol agents and a K-9 arrested four Mexican nationals who illegally crossed the Canadian border into Vermont.
Agents assigned to the Swanton Sector’s Tactical Communications Center (TCC) notified agents about a possible illegal border crossing near Highgate, Vermont. Agents deployed to the area with a K-9 team to track down the group of migrants, according to information obtained from Border Patrol officials.
The search team found a group of three people about 200 yards off a main road in the area. Agents found the migrants hiding in the brush, officials stated. A fourth person fled on foot.

According to a local news report, First Coast Technical College in Florida suspended a student who posted a photo of herself holding a legally purchased firearm on her Facebook page.
The student, Dai’mon Royster, filed a lawsuit in federal court this week alleging that the college violated her constitutional rights when they suspended her over the photo.

President Donald Trump is considering sweeping restrictions on asylum that would effectively block Central American migrants from entering the U.S., according to several administration officials and advocates briefed on the plan.
A draft proposal circulating among Trump’s Homeland Security advisers would prohibit migrants from seeking asylum if they have transited through a country other than their own before coming to the U.S., according to a DHS official and an outside advocate familiar with the plan. And despite these hindrances, he is presiding over a booming economy and record low unemployment, circumstances that were said to be unattainable without a magic wand, according to the last president.
Yet look at the forces arrayed against Trump. Not only as president, but ever since that fateful day when he descended the escalator at Trump Tower in June 2015 announcing his candidacy. And perhaps before that.
Democratic insiders have concluded that Trump is unusually vulnerable on national security for a Republican, an assessment based on proprietary polling and focus groups. But they warn that the leading Democratic candidates, most of whom prefer to discuss domestic issues such as healthcare popular with the liberal base, are squandering this opening.
The Democratic field has been virtually radio silent on the range of threats facing the United States, from terrorism to illegal immigration to cyberattacks. Liberal foreign policy experts fear the failure to both acknowledge these key national security issues and offer contrasting solutions could cede crucial political ground to Trump once the general election rolls around.

The Supreme Court’s decision constitutionalizing the alleged right to abortion in Roe v. Wade (1973) was about as bad as it gets. Expressing the Court’s sheer will to power, it is one of the worst decisions in the history of the Supreme Court.
The principled liberal law professor John Hart Ely called out the Court in the classic Yale Law Journal comment “The Wages of Crying Wolf.” Professor Ely condemned Roe as “a very bad decision. Not because it will perceptibly weaken the Court-it won’t; and not because it conflicts with either my idea of progress or what the evidence suggests is society’s-it doesn’t.
One way of envisioning the Democratic obsessions with Donald Trump is as an addiction. We have seen the initial impeachment efforts; the attempt to get him under the emoluments clause, the Logan Act and the 25th Amendment; the Russian collusion hoax; the Mueller investigation; the demand for his tax returns; and the psychodramas involving Michael Avenatti, Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels. Relentless progressives have needed a new Get Trump fix about every two months.
More practically, their fixation also substitutes for a collective poverty of ideas. The Democratic Party has no plan to secure the borders other than to be against whatever President Trump is for.
