When the Mueller Report was released on April 18th, most commentators focused on the “explosive” factual allegations. But other than the shocking revelation that the President once used an expletive in private, very few of those facts were novel; most were leaked long ago. At the end of Volume II of the Mueller Report, however, there were 20 pages of genuinely new material. The parents of a missing 5-year-old Crystal Lake boy have been charged with his murder after investigators located Andrew "AJ" Freund´s remains in a field about seven miles northwest of his home Wednesday. Crystal Lake Police Chief Jim Black announced the charges against the boy´s parents JoAnn Cunningham and Andrew Freund Sr. at a Wednesday afternoon news conference. Late yesterday afternoon, there was a livelier than usual Friday-night news-dump, when the Attorney-General of the United States announced that Robert Mueller had wrapped up his "Russia investigation" and there would be no further indictments. For two years, the prefatory "Russia" has been intended to give the word "investigation" more heft, to make it seem as if there was something more than let´s-get-Trump-on-anything.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man.
Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
