They shot at the king, but they didn´t kill him. And because they didn´t destroy him, they only made him stronger. If, a year from now, the economy is robust, Trump will be re-elected in an historic landslide. His enemies have played right into his hands. This is all because of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS), an especially virulent form of the psychiatric disorder known as cognitive dissonance. If you know, for absolutely certain — as an article of faith — that something is true, and evidence in contradiction of this truth emerges, the psychic toll can be severe. Experts say
I am 74 yrs old and for, it seems like forever, I heard people talking about "Another Reagan". My problem, when I heard them speak (they were usually too young to have actually been around during the Reagan years) was that the Reagan that they described was not the Reagan that I remembered and so I thought there will never be another Reagan.
Then came this black swan, I couldn´t stand his perceived arrogance, his brusque manner, his dominance of the stage. Then I began to actually read about him, the stories not from the main stream of course but little local stories about how he treated little people and began to realize that he was the Reagan that I knew but in a different skin one that was not quite so smooth.
But the important thing that he has in common with our favorite president is that he loves this country, he loves the little guy, he actually likes talking to the little guys, he does not particularly like the cocktail party set and he can play the game now that he knows the rules.
This first two yrs I watched him learn the new game; he stumbled a few times, usually because he listened to bad advice from the insiders, but now I think he has the game down pat and I hate to say it for you folks who thought you could beat him, but my guess is you ain´t seen nothin´ yet.

The one "IF" listed in the article is if the Market is robust, Trump will win in 2020.
The Market can be manipulated, and if the monied people on the Left can cause recessionary dip in the Dow, they will. Remember it was Chuck Schumer who revealed the Housing Bubble to the Media prior to Obama´s Election.

I´m old enough to remember Reagan and have voted for him. I think President Trump is greater than Reagan. The reason Reagan was dealing with partisans who were at least human. President Trump is battling sub-humans and ruthless American hating creatures all the time and still manages to out smart them and protect the nation. It´s different times from the Reagan years and President Trump is the man of the hour.

Referring to cognitive dissonance:"If you know, for absolutely certain — as an article of faith — that something is true, and evidence in contradiction of this truth emerges, the psychic toll can be severe."
This was true about the rabble at the Kavanaugh confirmation.

God planted Trump into our political landscape at just the right time.

I am careful to avoid hero worship because it´s usually unjustified but every time I see Donald Trump win a big battle I think to myself, "There Goes Captain America."
Gotta love the headline.

My son was a chauffer in the Miami/Palm Beach area years ago, before a lot of people knew who Donald Trump was. Whenever a big party was going on at a Trump sponsored function, he would be standing with all the other chauffers among the limos, waiting for their clients to depart. Donald Trump would bring food out to them and stay for a while, shooting the breeze. They all loved him!
Sadly, many people still do not understand the kindness and character of the man.

Shot AT the King, not "shot". Huge difference. And IMO, they did not even wound him.
They really ARE crazy, clearly. Deranged is just not a strong enough word for the babbling incoherence that Trump´s enemies spout every day, again and again, regardless of what the facts are.
This essayist misses the critical point. This was no error, this was no mistake. This was a cold blooded, criminal plot which started out by weaponizing the entire US counterintelligence mechanism against Trump during the campaign. When the "unthinkable" happened, and Trump was elected, they didn´t back off. These criminals, hip deep in their illegal actions, doubled down and tried to take out the President AFTER he was elected.
The author misses this entirely, with his simple minded "Hillary...concocted the Russia collusion, the media flocked to the fantasy and the Mueller fiasco began..." as if it were some sort of an accident like a tree falling on a house, and then the gas main rupturing.
This was a coup plot by dozens of our counterintelligence people, and is a massive criminal conspiracy. To imagine it as some sort of an error and accident is to fail massively in understanding what has occurred.
