Merrick Garland slams voter ID laws as
‘discriminatory’ and ‘unnecessary’

Original Article

Attorney General Merrick Garland pledged to challenge what he called voting restrictions implemented by Republican lawmakers that he said were “discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary.” Garland spoke alongside Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday in Selma, Alabama, at the city’s 59th anniversary of the 1965 civil rights event dubbed “Bloody Sunday,” the day when Alabama police officers beat up voting rights demonstrators protesting in 1965. There, Garland brought up the history of black voting rights, claiming that the “right to vote is still under attack.”

If this is his case then someone needs to propose a bill that states that all ID verification under all circumstances is unconstitutional. Either you need ID or you don't. Take that to the Supreme Court you fools.

We should institute rules that some of the third world countries have. 1. Election day is a holiday for voting. 2. Absentee is very highly restricted. 3. After voting, the voter has to dip their right index finger in an ink bottle.

It is not 1965. It has not been remotely like 1965 for 50 years. Dredging up the past from over a half century is great for spreading hate and discontent, but it has nothing to do what conditions are today. It would be better to look at how they have done under the Trump and Biden administrations.

Voter ID laws make it harder to cheat. It’s the one simple reason that the Dems bitterly oppose any kind of real voter identification. If you are required to show ID to board an aircraft, cash a check, buy a six pack of beer or any one of a thousand other reasons where you have to prove who you are, then why should it not be required for the most important one, legally and honestly casting a ballot? No need to answer that. We all know why the Democrat Party fights tooth and nail against voter ID.

"Discriminatory" is a beautiful word and we couldn't have a safe society without it. Imagine if we allowed Plumbers to fly Jumbo Jets, or Carpenters do Brain Surgery? Lo and behold, we demand PROOF that someone entrusted to perform a particular task are certified, trained and skilled to do the job. That extends to VOTING. Every SINGLE NATION on Earth discriminates on WHO gets to participate in their elections! Get a clue, Merrick the Midget. Thank God he never made it past the prelims of the Supreme Court "Beauty Contest."

Merrick Garland looks like death warmed over, but he looked especially Grim Reaperish in this video. Only a radical would think that voter ID is discriminatory. He talks down to people when he tells them they do not have the intellectual capacity to get an ID. Democrats will insult minorities to their faces and they will still support them. The two are vying to fill the seat long held by Dianne Feinstein, who died in September. California's voting system puts all the candidates, regardless of party affiliation, on the same ballot. According to state election results, Schiff and Garvey easily outdistanced the other contenders, with Schiff gathering 33.1 percent of votes and Garvey 32.4 percent.
