is with you' after Hurricane Fiona: President
says 'I was sort of raised in the Puerto
Rican community at home' because of Delaware's

President Joe Biden assured the people of Puerto Rico on Monday that 'all of America is with you' as the island struggles to cope with the damage from Hurricane Fiona.
'We came here in person to show that we're with you. All of America is with you as you receive and recover and rebuild,' he said during a visit to Ponce, Puerto Rico, with first lady Jill Biden and FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell.
Biden vowed to deliver quick assistance to the island, where tens of thousands of people still don't have power after Fiona struck the island on Sept. 18.
'We work together to help rebuild Puerto Rico and I mean,

PR went green after the previous hurricane, instead of rebuilding and strengthening the power grid. Money wasted then, too.

I don’t believe there was much of a Puerto Rican “community” in Delaware at the time Joseph Biden was growing up, and if there was back at that time, Biden would never have been able to recognize such a “community” back then. From what Biden has claimed in the past I thought that Biden grew up in Scranton, PA?
As for Puerto Rico itself, that island has been right in the geographic path of incoming hurricanes for as long as history recalls. So you have to figure that about every ten years chances are pretty high that Puerto Rico will experience a hurricane of some velocity.
Can you imagine if the island of Puerto Rico derived all its electric power from solar panels and windmills as dreamed by Biden and his climate change crew, if that were so, when the hurricane hit. There is no doubt that hurricane would have blown the solar panels and windmills away and destroyed them. After that it would take years to restore all the electric power to that island, even if Biden appointed Kamala Harris to be the Puerto Rico electric power restoration czar!

Rico Suave.
"According to the 1970 US Census, Delaware had about 2,154 people who were either born in Puerto Rico or descended from Puerto Rican parents—roughly 0.39% of the First State’s population of nearly 550,000 at the time."
"Biden did not describe any links to Puerto Ricans in Delaware in his 2007 memoir “Promises to Keep” and the White House did not supply any examples in response to a request for comment from The Post."

I knew a couple of people like Joe. Inveterate liars. Whether for self aggrandizement, self importance, or thinking that it will simply make people like and admire them more. They actually can’t stop and come to believe some of their own lies. Starring on their high school football team when they only warmed the bench or telling people that they got it on with the prettiest cheerleader. Some sort of mental thing. We have all done it a time or two but it doesn’t become a lifelong habit and obsession with most of us.

He was sorta raised with the Puerto Rico community in Delaware, he marched for civil rights, he beat up Corn Pop the bully, he got arrested trying to see Nelson Mandela, top of his law school class, 3 scholarships to law school, and worst of all, Curtis C. Dunn had “drunk his lunch” the day his tractor trailer slid on the ice and hit Neilia Biden’s car killing her and her baby in Hockessin, Delaware. It took over 30 years for the media to admit Mr. Dunn had not been drinking after ruining his life. His daughter fought to clear his name for years and finally did after his death, all this so Joe Biden could get the sympathy vote back in 1970’s. This last part of my rant angers me the most. He will destroy anyone to accomplish what he wants. Despicable person.

Did Congress clear that $60 million in aid through Zelensky before they appropriated it?
On a side note, the editing in this article is atrocious. “In route” should be En route” and “shared an infinity” should be “ shared an affinity.” What kind of dolts are J-Schools turning out?

After all the corrupt politicians grab their cut, (ours and theirs,) I would expect maybe 2 or three hundred dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico. (10% for the Big Guy, of course.)

We give Puerto Rico billions of dollars and in return we get nothing. The only reason we finance an island of people who do not work is, if we pulled the plug, Russia or China would take it over and build bases there.

If enough Democrats lose office to give the MAGA movement control of the house, the senate and the presidency, then we might hope to see the following:
1. The end of Federal subsidies for electric vehicles and the end of CAFE standards and other restrictions on motor vehicles so we can again have the opportunity to own the kind of cars and trucks we want to drive.
2. A reliable electric grid based on gas, oil, coal, and nuclear power to deliver affordable and dependable electricity. This means our tax money will not be used to build solar and wind generation at the expense of economical and dependable energy sources.
3. The freedom of investors and workers to develop all of the energy and material resources of this country.
4. The restoration of a government that does the will of the people as expressed by their duly elected representatives as defined in the constitution.
5. A president who will gain the power to remove federal employees who have been working in opposition to him (the deep state).
Of course all this depends upon all the states acting to assure honest elections.

Demoslut/communist politicians stole most of the money that was sent to PR after the last hurricane. Remember the warehouses full of items meant for the general public that politicians stole and hid. Half of the housing in PR are nothing but shacks with corrugated tin roofs. Unless things have changed in the southern part of PR since I was there, some of these places didn't even have doors and had chickens running in and out of the shack.

Are there many Puerto Ricans left on the island? From friends in FL, it seems all have moved to the Orlando area especially after Hurricane Maria.

Re #34, when the PR's moved into the area near one of my relatives in Florida, we knew it because they broke into an elderly man's home, beat him unconscious and stole a bunch of stuff. Yep, the PR's moved to central Florida. And talking to the Sheriff's deputy, break-ins and beatings massively increased when they arrived. Fortunately, a couple got shot at and the worst of them moved elsewhere. I spent several long nights on stakeout in the bushes near a relative's home, hoping to meet one of them coming back.

Yea, Biden's in the right place alright. Puerto Rico is nothing more than another welfare state. A place where money goes in, right into the pockets of the politicians. Everytime we send money to Puerto Rico it disappears and nothing gets fixed. Get it yet..
