The Delaware Supreme Court ruled on Friday that mail-in voting is unconstitutional in the state.
#WalkAway founder Brandon Straka broke news on Friday. (Snip)Nick Miles, the Event Coordinator with #WalkAway, filed the lawsuit in Delaware.(Tweet) It was a unanimous decision.
Delaware Live reported:
In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court of Delaware has ruled the state’s mail-in voting and same-day voter registration statutes unconstitutional.
Neither will be allowed in the Nov. 8 general election.
The ruling, which came just one day after oral arguments, is a major defeat for Gov. John Carney and Delaware Democrats.

It just so happens that The Demented Fuhrer is in Delaware this weekend, possibly riding a bicycle. Jill, will you break the news to him while he's "working"?

So if the the state supreme court ruled that the state constitution was violated, and voting laws are the domain of the states - then that's it.

#4, It appears that should be it to most of us who understand what the Constitution says about voting laws. However, this administration and the democrat party are governing post-Constiutionally. They have pretty much ignored it and are doing whatever they want. It will be up to the SCOTUS to shut this down by refusing to hear the case if democrats attempt to appeal it. It looks cut and died. The Delaware Supreme Court made the decision to uphold their state Constitution. Well done. Now, how about the rest of the states that have defied their state election laws?

What? You mean LaQuenisia Jefferson now can't move from polling place to polling place registering and voting under different names on Election Day? How racist! How are the Rats supposed to win under such cruel and inhumane conditions?

If the two Democrat proposed federal voting laws had been enacted into law a few months ago, this Delaware mail-in voting and same day registration would have been mandated by those proposed federal laws, at least until, if and when, federal courts might have held those laws to be invalid. Thise proposed federal statues mandated mail-in voting, drop boxes, and same day registration in all 50 states irrespective of each state's Constitution and/or its state statutes. Those Democrat proposed laws were designed to ensure that Democrats would forever maintain a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the U.S. Senate. Both were barely defeated.

If the Delaware dims were to take this case to the SCOTUS, I don't see how SCOTUS could even take the case because a potential ruling to overturn the DSCOTUS ruling would require SCOTUS to defy the US Constitution. Even CJ Roberts would have to agree on this one. Right, Roberts?

Reading the DE Constitution, this was a no-brainer decision. The wording is clear, and absent a change in the laws by the DE legislature, these practices are not allowed.

Thank you, thank you, Brandon the Good and Nick for taking up this fight. We are blessed to have fearless fighters FINALLY on "our" side, the side of the Constitution, the Rule of Law, EQUAL Justice under the Law... or at least a good start at resuming such.
We actually have many such fighters, but media have worked to silence their voices, a lot who have been ousted from the Dem/Left for not toeing the Party Line, for opening their eyes, for not being able to tolerate the stifling leftist orthodoxy, walking away, like Brandon the Good (such nomenclature to differentiate from the corrupt "Brandon" Let's Go!).

Actually, I think this is the 18th state that has declared "Unlawful" either through legislation or the State SC, practices/processes/rule changes that were used in the 2020 election. Still the Dem Party/media claims Trump etal 'questions' about the validity a "Big Lie, totally unfounded, debunked". Yet all of these rulings/legislative votes were triggered by 'new' practices processes, rules and were NOT heard in the 65 attempts to get them heard, in a timely manner, before the counts were finalized and certified.
Headlines should be "Yet another State proves Trump was Right!, He actually WON!!"

#14, it's not a matter of "changing the laws." In this instance, they changed the laws but that's unconstitutional, because they didn't amend the Delaware Constitution. These dem legislatures are drunk on power, and think they can pass a law that flies in the face of their own constitution. NO.
And this ruling does not necessarily establish a precedent in other states. It will depend on what the constitution of each state stipulates concerning the manner and method of conducting the vote.
Still, this is a most welcome ruling.
