Ask any Democrat or other leftist whether the FBI was corrupt under J. Edgar Hoover and he or she will eagerly agree. (snip) Now, though, it appears that the FBI, with help from the DOJ, is going Hoover one better, and using all the old powers plus modern technology to investigate and arrest people who fail to support the Biden administration. The FBI’s latest target is Texas Representative Henry Cuellar, a Democrat, who spoke out against Biden’s illegal acts erasing America’s southern border. (snip) Unfortunately, in Biden’s America, if you cross the administration, sooner or later it seems as if the FBI comes a’knockin’.

Again, if the Press was doing its job...............the FBI is so corrupt (at the top), Justice, under the S.Court wannabe Merrick Garland is so compliant......what DO these "folks", to use a Bidenism, think will happen if and when the Republicans, or at least those with any basic decency, will do if and when they are in office....this CAN NOT all be swept under the rug simply because it defies all the freedoms this country was built on. Since Miranda Devine's "Laptop from Hell" came out (and I returned my copy to the library almost at once so others could read it, plus bought it, even though it is overpriced, so it will show on best seller lists) even the recalcitrant Fox News mentioned that Hunter had invested big time in China, and of course 10% or more was earmarked for the "big guy".. (They are so afraid, under Murdoch's squirreley son, to look pro Conservative that they let a LOT go by the wayside.). This country is sinking fast toward Venezuela status, and the PRESS is as complicit as the worst of the worst. No integrity whatsoever!

When the FBI appears at a private office or a private residence in numbers large enough to gain media attention that usually occurs for two purposes, the first is to serve arrest warrants targeting specific perpetrators and the second is to serve court ordered search warrants to seize specific evidence. At this point it is unclear s to why the FBI showed up at Henry Cuellar’s office and residence. Sooner or later we will find out the true story.

If I were one of these "straight-shooters" I would resign from the FBI and turn whistle-blower. Not to the DOJ or the various tainted bureaucracies it hangs out there to sucker in the unwary, but bring the case to the American People. Failure to do so, is acquiescence that you approve of your superior's actions and methods.

This is just a follow on to what happened under President Obama. When Senator Bob Menendez opposed one of President Obama's projects (I do not remember which one currently), a corruption case against him suddenly went from, "yeah, they will never prosecute a sitting U.S. Senator for that," to "He's going to jail for 10 years."

Cuellar's reputation here in Texas has always been stellar, among both Democrats and Republican. The "evidence" is going to be that Cuellar forgot to say "to the best of my knowledge" in front of statement of which he is unware of its inaccuray and then be libeled for lying to the FBI. And FYI, what an odd list of cities for his district. Universal City and Converse are less than 3 miles from each other and just northeast of San Antonio on IH35 headed toward Austin. Rio Grande City is about 262 miles almost due south of Universal City-Converse-San Antonio. Better points would have been Universal City, McAllen and Laredo. Here's his district: https://cuellar.house.gov/contact/district-map.htm

The corruption and evil all throughout the FBI is now so obvious that its time to pray hard for all the rank and file who are participating in all the lawlessness. No excuses were accepted for German or Dutch civil and government employees who went ahead to do the things Hitler’s henchmen asked of them. No excuses should have been accepted. These are the same times that try men’s souls. FBI employees have decisions to make.

Hearing the Department of Justice describe them, one would think that the Oath Keepers are the scariest bunch of anti-American knuckleheads to come down the pike since the Ku Klux Klan. (snip) The Oath Keepers was founded in 2009 by Stewart Rhodes. It is a national, but loosely knit organization, created to resist violations of civil liberties by the government. In 2009, that sounded like conspiracy nut thinking. But since the organization’s founding, we’ve been treated to Crossfire Hurricane, two impeachment show trials, COVID shutdowns, election 2020, and our own government targeting parents as domestic terrorists. What sounded crazy in 2009 sounds prescient in 2022.

If we’re to have a Congress that will stand up to Biden, investigate corruption, and reverse creeping socialism, we must have conservatives on the ballot, rather than whatever RINOs the GOP selects. The battle ends in November but it begins with the primaries.

Late last year, I got into a discussion with a fellow who was quite sold on the idea that man’s activities were warming the Earth. While not a hardcore ideologue, it was apparent the gentleman had accepted the climate change narrative presented by mainstream media and believed we truly were imperiling the planet. I didn’t say much to him initially, as we were engaged in some recreation, but later on I resurrected the topic and told him I just wanted to pose one question. “What is the ideal average temperature of the Earth”? I asked. It was clear he was without an answer, so I explained my rationale.

If there was any doubt that Joe Biden is unfit for the office of President of the United States, yesterday’s marathon press conference put such qualms to rest. (snip) It did not put anyone’s fear about Biden’s competency at rest. Faux reporters like Yamiche Alcindor and Jennifer Rubin swore Biden performed brilliantly but every rational person watching knew it was a “slow-motion train wreck.” The sad aspect of it all was that one could tell Biden thought he was dazzling his audience. He was, as usual, quick to anger when asked a question that intimated that he was less than the best President ever.

I recently wrote to my United States senator, a Republican Never Trumper, respectfully asking why the January 6th detainees are still in jail, with many still in solitary and not arraigned for what was essentially trespassing on public property (forgetting for the moment the role of FBI instigators). (Incidentally, we should all be writing). His reply saddened me profoundly. I received back a two-page harangue of how horrible January 6th was and how it imperiled our democracy. Buried within that harangue were unexpected admissions about the unconstitutional conditions in which far more prisoners are held than most people realize. Surprisingly enough, these admissions gave me hope.

It’s time for all of us to get back to normal.” Given Biden’s speech and cognition issues, he will most likely actually say ‘My Felericans -- our long natural fair is covered,” but that is beside the point

We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.
