The number of migrants waiting under a bridge in Texas to be apprehended by the Border Patrol has doubled overnight and now tops 8,000 people, according to a report Thursday. Drone footage shot by Fox News shows the sea of migrants, the majority from Haiti, under the International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas, and sources tell the network the situation is “out of control” and that Border Patrol agents are overwhelmed. There were about 4,000 migrants at the bridge Wednesday, but the number spiked overnight to around 8,200.(Snip)”This is Joe Biden’s fault. This is Kamala Harris’ fault. This is… barbaric,” Sen. June 1, 2021. "Governor Greg Abbott today issued a disaster declaration along Texas' southern border in response to the border crisis, providing more resources and strategies to combat the ongoing influx of unlawful immigrants. The Governor is authorizing the use of all necessary and available state and local resources to protect landowners in these counties from trespassers and the damage they cause to private property. The Governor has also directed the Texas Department of Public Safety to enforce all federal and state criminal laws, including criminal trespassing, smuggling, and human trafficking." Ha ha, just kidding! He's got a challenger in the GOP primary, so is now standing tough for Texas.

Don't expect Kamala "Heels Up" Harris to observe the current yet long lasting chaotic border this year. She is VP for one reason and one reason only.

By ANY Definition, this is an Invasion, which the Federal Govt. is SWORN to prevent, it is in fact the Federal Govts PRIMARY responsibility. Yet here they are aiding and abetting it instead. Diverting Defense funds and COVID funds to import and spread throughout the nation Covid carrying aliens. Using Covid funds to house and transport them...NOT testing or treating them. While Americans are being banned from work/school/travel and even restaurants unless they can PROVE fully vaccinated, the Govt is using $Millions of those same peoples tax dollars to IMPORT untested/unvaccinated millions.

Del Rio is a community where I've been quite often on business. It's a right turn on US 90 and about 35,000 people including an Air Force base, US Courthouse, Border Patrol, and it used to be the place where a lot of cents-off coupons got sent for processing (in Mexico).
Bring about 8-10K people into a town like that, even if they're sleeping under a bridge, and you have a significant draw on local resources. Thanks, Joe!

8,000...isn't that the same number of US Troops Biden just sent to Afghanistan to remove 120,000 people in under 2weeks?
Then BRAGGED about how efficient and effective his leadership in doing so was!
Imagine if he tasked a similar number to remove "No longer Welcome Foreigners" here...Instead he is housing them at the very bases he sent Troops from > to Afghanistan to implement that "Repatriation" maneuver
Heck, he can put the very same "State Dept" people that insisted on leaving hundreds of US Passport holders and thousands of green card holders behind because they did not "Qualify" to be "Treated as Citizens", use the same rubric to adjudicate border hoppers...unless they have actual US Passports, Visas? GONE! . He has bragged he can do it instantly...proof it can be done again here as well.

What are they doing, chartering cruise ships to transport these people? Who is paying? The days of walking up through Mexico are apparently over and the process is now automated. Damn you, Joe.

In this modern era where hundreds of millions of people can travel from the ends of the earth with the assistance of foreign human smugglers and traffickers, the only way to stop that growing international criminal enterprise and the foreigners who fund those unlawful activities, is for the USA pass a constitutional amendment to the effect that all foreigners who enter the USA unlawfully, or who overstay a legal temporary admission to the USA, are permanently barred from receiving permanent resident status or naturalized US citizenship.

The Supreme Court, throughout U.S. history, has upheld all manner of federal statutes regulating immigration. By contrast, Supreme Court decisions preclude states from passing legislation that directly impinges on this area of federal dominion. The Supreme Court’s basis for action is clear when the area regulated is naturalization. Article 1, Sec 8, clause 4, of the United States Constitution specifically grants Congress the power to establish a "uniform Rule of Naturalization." By expressly allocating this power to Congress, the Constitution prevents the confusion that would result if individual states could bestow citizenship. The Constitution does not, however, explicitly provide that the power to deny admission or remove non-citizens rests with the federal government as opposed to state governments; however, in the early immigration cases the Supreme Court faced the problem of identifying the source of the federal government's exclusive and plenary power over immigration. Later cases found the plenary power to be an inherent sovereign power. The 1889 Chinese Exclusion Case, was the first case where the Supreme Court held that the federal power to exclude non-citizens is an incident of national sovereignty. The Court reasoned that every national government has the inherent authority to protect the national public interest. Immigration is a matter of vital national concern. Furthermore, it is the role of the federal government to oversee matters of national concern, while it is the province of the states to govern local matters. Consequently, the Court found that the inherent sovereign power to regulate immigration clearly resides in the federal government. Subsequent cases reinforced national sovereignty as the source of federal power to control immigration and consistently reasserted the plenary and unqualified scope of this power. The fact that the federal government's actions are creating local crises in the states, gives the states standing to challenge the federal government's immigration decisions in court. The issue of "invasion" is an Article 4 provision in the Constitution but I can find no Supreme Court cases where the federal government's failure to protect was challenged. In the recent (2012) case of Arizona v United States, the Supreme Court, by a 5-3 decision, held that federal law pre-empted three provisions of Arizona law: The provision making it a state crime to reside in the country without legal permission; the provision making it a state crime to work in the country without legal permission; and the provision allowing law enforcement officers to arrest individuals without a warrant based on probable cause of unlawful presence.

Latest word from Fox News this afternoon: There is now a no-fly zone over this growing migrant “situation”. No more drones for news coverage. Will Fox fight it? Tucker seemed to think so...

It is now up to more than 10,500 illegals under the bridge and the government is trying to keep all optics away from the citizens by banning drones from flying in the area

I really wish everyone would STOP calling these people "liberal"!! They are NOT liberal-- they are TYRANTS!! Using the word liberal helps them continually mislead public and further push their evil agenda! Words matter!!!!

A Republican scores a tasty zinger, rising perhaps to a sick burn! Go, GOP! Meanwhile no one, least of all loudmouth poseur Gov. Abbott of Texas, lifts a finger to stop them. Border Patrol "processing" amounts to taking their alleged names, writing them permission slips, and letting them board buses into the US heartland.
