The true nature of this struggle can never be solved by politics. It can only be solved through repentance, and we have proof of that here.
Christianity has always been hand in hand with the greatest empires. The abandonment of Christianity has always led to the collapse of any nation or people or family or person who abandons it. This is an axiom.

The End Times Prophesies have always fascinated me, OP. We Catholics don’t talk about them much, as almost all of our clergy avoid it like the plague (no pun intended). But, I find myself hoping more and more that The Rapture is real…and, that I would included, of course ; ).

God is real. So is Satan. Secular societies, dynasties, government all reject God.
It’s all about market share.

Your god has nothing to do with the state of affairs in this country or the world. Somebody is always predicting the end times are here....

Not Christianity. "We" have, as a society, rejected G_d and morality. The United States was founded as a covenant nation, dedicated to G_d. No, its not in the founding documents.
"We" have sexualized children, sacrificed them at the alter of choice, normalized every deviancy and bad impulse. ended prayer, taken G_d and religion out of just about everything, ended free speech, and now men can be women and vice versa.
Read the Harbinger..... its an eye opener.

The End Times are not here, yet, as the entire world has not been given the choice to accept Christianity, though that can all change very quickly. I suggest to my fellow Catholics and others to read The Rapture Trap by Thigpen, and be aware FIRST of Fatima, Akita and the vision of Leo XIII. Be in a State of Grace, y'all!

Towards the end of the video at the end of the article, Mr. Turley mentions the growing alliance between the police and conservative militias. He takes this as a good thing, but I am not so sure. So far, it does not appear to be a bad thing, but many terrible crimes have been committed by armed militias to whom the police turned a blind eye. My fear is that Antifa will cause the rise of a group similar to the Nazis in the same way that the Communists in Germany caused the rise of the original Nazis.

No, our problem is the wholesale rejection of 2,000 years of western culture -- manifest to most people in the Christian religion. Culture was the aggregate lessons-learned-the-hard-way of our western civilization. It has now all been disemboweled by the fantasy of progressive, tribalist, Marxist ideology.

I'm with #10. Christianity is a core of western culture but it is not a necessary feature. And don't Jews play any part in our culture?

It takes a certain kind of person to kills thousands of people. A person that has rejected God, has lost their humanity. These people aren't human. They aren't animals. They are monsters. We see the Taliban killing thousands of people. We see Biden and his cronies enacting policies that will get thousands more killed. God is not in these people. They have rejected God.
The Taliban will swear up and down they are doing the will of God. They are persecuting people, and delivering 'justice' in the name of God. Guaranteed, God never ever told anyone to persecute and murder anybody. The Taliban has turned God into a monster just like they are.
Don't kid yourself that Christianity is spotless in all this folks. First and foremost, God is a God of love who wants to interact with us. He is not a God of fear, wrath, and retribution. Many people have been driven away from God because of the way Christianity has portrayed him.
I like to say God and religion are two different things. Religion is a portrayal of God, and gives instruction on what humanity is suppose to do in relationship to God. Each religion is different, and each will vary in how accurately they portray God. Ultimately there is only one God so all these religions cannot be accurate. It is likely none of them are 100% accurate. I like to think Christianity is more accurate than any other religion, but that depends on how each minister portrays him. There are lots of variation. From a church that emphasizes love, to a church that teaches the bible, to a church that emphasizes fire and brimstone, to a church that persecutes sinners, to a church where the minister enriches himself at the expense of his followers. Not sure any two churches are even the same.

The Rapture didn’t exist until around 1830 AD. There will be no Rapture (Pre Tribulation)! Sorry, it’s just not s Tripura lol! When the horn sounds and we see Jesus coming back to earth, that will be the end of this world! Christians will be persecuted until then, This persecution will get worse and worse until we are being beheaded for not worshiping the AntiChrist! Is he near? Don’t know…but I believe things are aligning perfectly for his arrival!

You can't play, party, and sin for 30-40 years and expect ANYTHING or ANYONE to stay the same. Satan's number ONE weapon is PRIDE. I don't need God, Jesus, the Bible or church. How 's that working out for ya???...

#1,#7~ Respectfully suggest caution and study when it comes to “the rapture.” For example, Reverend J. N. Darby resigned from the Church of Ireland in 1827 claiming he discovered a secret doctrine in the Bible calling his new teaching the “Rapture.” Most mainline religions consider this heretical teaching. Recorded in John 5:25-29, Jesus describes two resurrections: a spiritual resurrection and a bodily resurrection. Jesus says, “…an hour is coming and NOW is, when the dead shall hear…” The first resurrection happens NOW. “Hearing” the voice of Jesus in Baptism (Romans 6:4-5; Colossians 2:12) or preaching of the Gospel (Colossians 3:1), that new spiritual life is received NOW. “This is our first resurrection, a spiritual resurrection from sin’s deadly effects.”
The second resurrection, of the body, will happen in the future when Christ returns on Judgment Day and “all who are in tombs shall hear His voice, and shall come forth.” (John 5:28-29). Revelation 20:5 “teaches that Christ resurrects us NOW spiritually and will raise us up bodily when He returns for the Last Judgment.”
The teaching that a “rapture” will not take place on the last day but during an “invisible” coming of Christ before a seven-year “tribulation” on earth that allows Christians to escape that tribulation and later return to earth for a literal “1000 year reign of Christ” in not based on a proper understanding of Scripture. Scripture teaches that “All Christians will endure varying degrees of “tribulation” until the last day, that Christ will return only once (visibly) to “catchup” (“rapture”) all believers, living and dead, into heaven, and that all believers will reign forever with him in heaven.”
The “1000 years” of Revelation 20:11-15 is “a figurative reference to Christ’s reign here and now in the hearts and lives of believers, which will culminate in our reigning with Christ forever in heaven following his return on the last day.”
#13~ Excellent, appreciated post. Regarding the antichrist, as written in Scripture, many antichrists have come and will continue to come—those who deny the Father and the Son (1 John 2:18,22 – 1 John 4:3 – 2 John 7 - 2 Thessalonians 2). As an aside, what is written in Revelation 13, the first “beast” could be political authority, worldly power run amok.

There is available literature which studied Americans' religious habits and preferences. While the number of churchgoers in the smaller denominations have held steady or increased slightly, the number of Catholic and Protestant churchgoers has decreased significantly. However, notice how strict obeyance to the State is significantly increasing.

I will add to my comment above - it is more of a rejection of western civilization which owes its success to a Judeo-Christian culture. Yes, we need to include Judaism in the formula. A healthy fear of the Lord is a good thing.

#17, the first statements of your post is found in the book I suggested. That I'm not one to fall for the unscriptural secret rapture/get out of the tribulation free nonsense, is exactly my point.

#13/#24~ Comment #21 is difficult to interpret. Speculation suggests the individual is a steadfast believer in the Rapture and may be trying to make the point that UNDERSTANDING God’s Word never ends and throws out periods in time to elicit a response because of #13’s opening sentence that “The Rapture didn’t exist until around 1830 AD.”
Indeed, understanding God’s Word never ends; however, there is a distinct, significant, crucial difference between correct understanding and misunderstanding. The rapture doctrine has been based on a misunderstanding of Luke 17:34-35 as well as Matthew 24:40-41, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, 1 Thessalonians 5:2. At the time of the Lord’s Second Coming, believers alive on earth will be caught up together with dead believers; the teachings are about the resurrection and not a secret return of Christ. In 1 Thessalonians 5:2, the correct interpretation of “...like a thief in the night” is that the event will be sudden, unexpected, and it is important for believers to be alert, looking forward to the Lord’s coming. Jesus said he would come again—a Second Coming, not a third time. (John 14:3, Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 22:12-13)
#25~ “... not one to fall for ...” Amen! Wonderful to learn of faith that is anchored in the inerrant Word of God! Blessings!

#26, your speculation is correct. My point is that those who discredit the rapture because its teaching (supposedly) did not exist until the 1800's are on shaky ground. JMHO. One day we will all know the Truth.

#27~ Thank you. Your kind, courteous response and explanation are appreciated. With all due respect, the basis for the “Rapture” teaching or concept, regardless of how long it may have existed, is erroneous and may be a consideration in a person’s eternal salvation—our Lord will decide. Scripture interprets Scripture, and it is sincerely hoped that people who believe in the “Rapture” will come to accept the inerrant Word of God that Jesus will come a second time, not a third time; not as a thief in-between His birth and Second Coming, because that belief suggests that Jesus would have deceived, would have lied, and we know that God/Jesus/Holy Spirit does not deceive, does not lie—Scripture does not lie. Peace, hope, and blessings.
