In the midst of scratching their heads over Governor Mike DeWine’s (R) Dec. 7 extension of his bizarre, unconstitutional “curfew” to guard against a virus that, evidently, becomes more deadly after 10 pm and before 5 am, Ohio residents might have missed the bizarre “high school sports” edict issued on Dec. 4… That’s the command that high school wrestlers are “permitted” to wrestle, but before and after the match, participants are...forbidden from shaking hands. If they wear protective gloves, they will be able to shake hands, right?

I always thought there is something wrong with this guy. My brother lives in Ohio and he feels the same as I do.

This is proof that liberal politicians wear their butts as headgear.

#3, I live in Ohio and believe me the majority of Ohioans believe the guy is a terrible governor. He is drunk on power and his little press conferences send him into ecstasy because someone is paying attention to him. He only has support from the looney left because Ohio is pretty much a red state. However the dems are doing their best to turn it blue. As usual, look to the larger cities and that is where the democrats gather. They are the bane of existence for any freedom loving American who wants to be left alone. DeWine just wants to flex his political muscle because he certainly does not have any physical strength. Men like DeWine don’t care who they hurt as long as they can get that ooey gooey sanctimonious vibe that comes from power over the little guy. Now there is rumors that he will run for office again. There is no way, except with Dominion’s help that he would ever be re-elected. He really is loathed by most here in the state. When he could have stood up for reason and freedom, he chose tyranny. As we are finding out through this crisis, it doesn’t take an army to remove your rights. All it takes is a lazy legislature and a power crazed governor. During this whole crisis, the legislature had the power to rein him in. They did not. All it takes for evil to prosper is that good men do nothing.

The school athletic double standard is not unique to Ohio. I've said from the start that Texas school football was hypocritical as all get out just to play pretend things are normal and for the coaches to do their primary job because it sure as heck isn't teaching social studies. If athletes can play unmasked, then everyone should be unmasked. The result is as soon as a player tests positive, then his teammates quarantine so they have to go remote learning. Sometimes the coaches test positive. Conflicting policies turn schools into chaotic s*%tshows even more than they were before. If, and this is a big if, Covid is as serious as the media and the director of the state HHS say it is, no athletics should have been allowed in the first place.

Transparent, clear, obvious lunacy. Irrational in the extreme. But then, all our current "masters" have no interest in logic, facts or truth. They want POWER, and I think they like it a bit more when we know that their rules are arbitrary. They don't have to bother trying to convince us that they are sensible.
These thugs know that they don't have to make any sort of logical sense, because the drones must do what they are told!

There is not one Governor of a Blue state that would qualify for Dog Catcher. All of them have I.Q.'s that are minus zero!

Because SCIENCE!!!!!
Like when Fauci said it was OK to use Grind'r to find some random stranger homo to have sex with as long as you don't kiss.
Sometimes I think that these people who issue these edicts are completely ignorant and illogical. Other times I think they just issue these idiotic and illogical edicts knowing they are idiotic and illogical, just to see if we are so thoroughly propagandized and fearful that we will follow them without question, and revel in their own dictatorial powers.

And we Pennsylvanians believed we had the dumbest little governor!!
(but we still can claim the ugliest public health commissioner! No one could beat out Dr. "Rachel" Levine)

I burst out laughing when I read the headline. Anyone who knows wrestling or has been to a wrestling match, knows shaking hands is the least contact in a match! It shows just how absurd these governor mandates have become!!

First thing DeWine does in the morning is shoot himself in the foot and then out the still smoldering appendage in his mouth.
He has less than zero chance of ever being re-elected and the people don't want his hand-picked successor.
Hopefully some of the Ohio House efforts to recall, impeach, or even just limit his power will rein this tyrant in and give the Ohio people some relief.

OMG, what a complete idiot! Does this buffoon have any idea how much bodily fluid is exchanged in a wrestling match? In my younger days I was a martial artist and I used to tell people that, if you don’t want to exchange bodily fluids with others, don’t do karate. Sparring matches are filled with sweat and saliva flying around.

This kind of thing is why science has such a bad reputation. Science is whatever the Liberal Pols say it is. (And yes that brain-dead moron is a liberal) Either that or they think they're god and can decree infection, away.

Take heart, Ohioans. In the People's Republic of Colorado, Our Gov. Jared Polis operates the same way. Two recall petitions have already been circulated. the latest one is pending. Hopeful that it gets on the ballot for next Spring. Polis and his husband are kind of anxious these days.

To say the least, this is ludicrous..no wonder his own party is targeting him for impeachment...he obviously has never been to a wrestling match to order some insanity like this.
