Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, hit President Biden and Major League Baseball for the league's decision to boycott Georgia over its election law -- and asking if that hard stance will be extended to the Chinese Communist regime. MLB announced this week it would be relocating its All-Star Game and MLB draft in response to the state’s election law, which Republicans have said will restore faith in the state’s elections, but Democrats have alleged will restrict voting access.

Good question. But we already know the answer.

So relocate the All-Star game to Ping Pong and don't bother with the TV feed.

I'm betting they're considering moving the All Star game to China. All I can say is: if you go, don't come back.

I’m glad that Rubio and Crenshaw are condemning the move from Atlanta. I hope the Georgia Republicans who were shamefully passive during the run up to and after the election have wised up. They should run billboard ads pointing out that thanks to Joe Biden, Stacy Abrams and the two Democrat senators they “elected” millions of dollars and thousands of jobs have pulled from Atlanta. Stop complaining and go on offense.

Biden will never ever say or do anything about China. After all, that's where "the big guy" gets his money.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was among the least effective members of the last Congress, according to a new survey from the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking — a joint project of Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia. Ocasio-Cortez introduced a total of 21 bills that the center defined as "substantive" — but that is where the story ends. Her legislation received no action in committees, no floor votes, and none ever became law, according to the center, which takes its data from Congress.gov.

What could be the nation’s first commercial advanced nuclear power reactor would be built and operated near Richland under a partnership agreement signed Thursday. X-energy, of Rockville, Maryland, will work with Energy Northwest of Richland and Grant County PUD to develop, build and operate an 80-megawatt reactor, the Xe-100, on land already leased by Energy Northwest at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Eastern Washington. Advanced reactors are intended to be designed with enhanced safety features and a smaller footprint for their modular design concept. Their smaller size and ability to quickly ramp up and down makes them a perfect complement to intermittent renewable resources CORRECTIONS*

First Lady Jill Biden visited Delano, California this week to say a few words of praise to a group of local farmworkers in honor of civil rights activist César Chávez’s birthday, but her inclusion of the United Farm Workers’ motto ‘sí se puede’ has been earning her flack ever since for her mispronunciation of the final word. Clips of the event recorded by journalists have earned millions of views across Twitter, where a growing number quickly flocked to proclaim that former FLOTUS Melania Trump would never have made such an error and repeating her previously stated claim that she speaks five languages (Italian, French, German, Slovene, and English

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., has been pleading with his fellow Democrats for bipartisanship by opposing killing the filibuster — and his colleagues have had enough. Top-ranking Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., went after Manchin in an interview on Thursday about the Democrats' voting rights bill. Manchin is the only Democratic senator not co-sponsoring the For the People Act, which Democrats say can only pass if filibuster rules change. "I’m insulted when he tells me that it’s more important to maintain a relationship with the minority in the U.S. Senate than it is for you to maintain a relationship with the minority of voters in America," Clyburn told The Huffington Post.

Cities in parts of the U.S. that slashed their police department funding last year, in part as a result of police-involved shootings, have seen an uptick in certain crimes over the past year, according to data analyzed by Fox News. Cities such as Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Portland, Ore., and Austin, Texas, have shifted funds from police departments to social services programs. Such cuts have led some departments to lay off officers, cancel recruiting classes or retreat from hiring goals.

Until very recently, it would have been hard to imagine anything more iconic of American life than Coca Cola and baseball. Today both remind me of Benito Mussolini’s corporatist – aka, fascist -- game of merging of state and corporate power. The CEOs of these operations should hang their heads in shame and fire their public-relations teams. So should the CEOs of Delta and American Airlines, Black Rock, Cisco, American Express, and American Airlines, who have promoted President Biden’s false assertions that tightening election procedures to bring them back into line -- and in accord with those of civilized Western governments elsewhere -- is racist voter suppression.
