You have undoubtedly heard the classic song ‘Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter from Camp)’ by Allan Sherman. The song has now been updated to reflect the radical, anti-Israel protests on college campuses. This is fantastic. Lyrics via Twitter/X: Hello Muddah, hello Faddah I have joined Camp Intifada Camp is very instigating And they say the quad sprinkler will soon stop raining

Comments:

Wonderful parody. Fun and on target. Great send-up.

OMG, this is the best thing ever. Someone more talented than I am must get this on a video and get it out so everyone can hear it. Maybe one of the country singers who tend to still love and respect America and normal behavior. Please, hurry to the studio and get this going. This is not protesting. It is disgusting behavior and evil. I just want to grab them by the nap of their neck and slap them hard. Sang it when I first read it and going back for an encore.

Sadly, the wonderful parody songs of Rush Limbaugh's favorite "white comedian," Paul Shanklin have not been heard for years. This would have been a great one. As would have been many others over the past several years.

I’d like this modification better for the last two stanzas. “Dearest fadduh, darling muddah, I’ll stay one way, or anothah You paid thousands to this college So our camp could make the janitor a hostage Wait a minute, cops are coming We’re uprising, they are stunning Kindly send some food and watah, Muddah, fadduh, I’m expelled from your alma matuh!”

#4, you beat me to it! YES, Rush as well as Reagan knew that parody and humor were effective ways to keep the libs contained. They knew they couldn't fight back and win on that level so were forced to remain silent. It was a genius scheme which I miss so much today. The guys who replaced Rush likely are trying hard but their teenage boyish banter turns off 50% of their audience and certainly doesn't attract independents who will be needed to win in 24. I long to hear something similar to Hillary Clinton defending her faulty email memory ("My mind's in a blender, it's jello...jello, jello") or see Ronald standing there addressing his opponents with that twinkle in his eye and a smile, ("There you go again.") What we have instead is A Big Fail.

Ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations have agreed to eliminate all coal-fired power plants by 2035. The countries that are members of the Group of Seven (G7) are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union. This declaration was made by Andrew Bowie, a UK minister at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, during an interview in Turing, Italy. “We do have an agreement to phase out coal in the first half of the 2030s,” Bowie said. “This is, by the way, a historic agreement, something that we weren’t able to achieve at COP28 in Dubai last year.”

Donald Trump holds a 1 point advantage over President Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential election in the RealClearPolitics polling average. Many of these polls oversample Democrats. Most survey registered voters or whoever answers the phone when the pollster calls. Rasmussen Reports surveys U.S. likely voters, those who actually cast votes, and they show Trump with an 8 point lead. They also found little impact from third party candidates such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Jill Stein, or Cornell West. The deep state, swamp, blob, ruling class, establishment, uni-party, or whatever is today’s term de jour for the permanent administrative state has been pulling out all the stops to vanquish Trump.

Democrats would love nothing more than to see former President Donald Trump go down— and Rep. Katie Porter’s (D-CA) recent reaction in an interview proved just that. During an appearance on Pod Save America, Porter could barely contain her excitement when she thought about how Trump would “meet his demise.” The Democrat smiled and giggled when she discussed what she thinks will be the future of Trump, appearing to hope for prison or a heart attack.

A new capital would signify a new beginning for the nation. Everyone who has seen the play Hamilton knows that the nation’s capital was moved to the present site in the District of Columbia due to a dinner-table bargain in 1790 between Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. Hamilton needed Jefferson’s support in Congress to win approval for federal assumption of revolutionary war debts; in return, Jefferson wanted Hamilton’s support in moving the capital from New York City to a location nearer to the population and geographical center of the country, later carved out between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

A so-called glitch on the Nevada Secretary of State’s website caused unmailed ballots to show up as counted in the recent Nevada primary. The Nevada Secretary of State’s office (run by Democrat Francisco Aguilar) on Sunday learned of the ‘glitch’ after numerous Nevada voters realized their votes were counted in the recent primary even though they didn’t participate.... “Again, this is an error that relates to the code used for when a voter is sent a mail ballot and does not return it; it has no connection in any way to vote tabulation,” the Secretary of State’s office said in a statement.

Democrats Against Democracy More evidence that when Democrats talk about Our Democracy™️ they don’t mean democracy. They mean not having to deal with those pesky opponents that sometimes, God forbid, win elections. Thus, Rasmussen finds that 78% of Democrats approve of “state officials removing Trump’s name from the ballot.” Well, that’s one way to make it easy to elect Democrats. In a parallel finding, 77% of Democrats say that the January 6 protest was “an insurrection that attempted to overthrow the government.”

Anti-capitalism is back in fashion. Even Marxism, which many had declared dead after the collapse of socialism, is experiencing a renaissance. Books such as those by the left-wing French economist Thomas Piketty are popular. In my home country, Germany, a book called Das Ende des Kapitalismus (The End of Capitalism), whose author advocates the introduction of a planned economy, has climbed the bestseller lists. She cites the British war economy of the Second World War as a potential model. In her opinion, we should introduce this kind of economic system as quickly as possible, as it is the only way we can save our planet.
