File this story in the you-can't-make-this-stuff-up folder. Remember the five Border Patrol agents on horseback who patrolled the Rio Grande River bank in Texas? An adviser to former San Antonio mayor and HUD secretary started a lie on social media that the agents were whipping Haitian migrants as they waded through the Rio Grande toward the Texas shore. It was a hoax to smear Border Patrol agents but the Biden administration fell for it. The agents were taken off their assignment as the lie went viral. One of the many reasons I loathe, hate, and despise Quid Pro Joe was there was never any kind of an apology from the idiot when it became known that his disparaging remarks about the border patrol agents were nonsense. Just as there was never an apology to the thousand of police, fire, and military personnel who refused the Covid jabs and lost their jobs and had their careers destroyed. No wonder no one cares about his opinion on anything.

Here's my personal punchline......even if they HAD been using bullwhips on illegals.....I think that would have been a GOOD THING, a great method to drive them back across the border to THEIR COUNTRY and out of our country. But....it wasn't happening at all, and the lies were just more lies.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was forced to walk back a statement criticizing the actions of the agents on horseback : “I made the statements without having seen the images,” he said from the White House press briefing room on Sept. 24, 2021". Mayorkas is the head of this whole corrupt agency and he doesn't know the border cops' job enough to wait until the evidence is in. DEI

Google Censors Trump Ad for Unspecified Reasons 5 replies

I keep telling you about how severe the censorship by Big Tech is, and it is becoming background noise (or background silence?). So let me give you a concrete example: Google just booted this Trump ad that is completely, 100%, verifiably true for unspecified "policy violations." "Policy violations?" I can tell you exactly what the violation is: this ad is targeted at minority voters and it is probably very effective. Google can't have that, can they? We keep being told that Trump and the Republicans depend on foreign "election interference" in order to stay competitive, despite the fact that all sorts of investigations keep disproving it. Did not happen.

In recent weeks, it’s become clear that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to once again run for prime minister in the next elections. Although he hadn’t been definitive on this issue since the war in Gaza broke out, we’re now beginning to hear clear statements from him about the dramatic need for him to continue leading the country even after the next general elections, despite — and perhaps because of — the terrible national tragedy and disgraceful failures of October 7. Netanyahu believes that Israel is in the midst of a war that will last for many years to come and that only he is fit to lead this

The U.S. added 175,000 nonfarm payroll jobs in April as the unemployment rate ticked up to 3.9%, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data released Friday. Economists anticipated that the country would add 243,000 jobs in April compared to the 303,000 jobs that were added in initial estimates for March, and that the unemployment rate would remain unchanged at 3.8%, according to Reuters. The job gains accompany recent slow economic growth, with gross domestic product totaling just 1.6% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2024. Inflation has continued to wreak havoc on businesses looking to hire, measuring 3.5% year-over-year in March, up from 3.2%

Tehran University Professor Foad Izadi likes what he sees happening on American college campuses. Izadi said in an interview on Iranian state television station IRIB Ofogh that "these are our people." He said that he is a part of Iran's brutal Islamic dictatorship and they are cheering on the protests all across America. He boasted that Iran has Hezbollah-like militant cells hiding in the United States. He took credit for Iran keeping "the Palestinian idea" alive. Izadi said that the movement would have closed down if not for the support of the Iranian regime. 'Sooner or later, this kind of support for the Zionist regime by the American regime will diminish.

The Israeli Air Force will mothball its Patriot air defense systems within two months as it moves to replace them with its own more advanced air defense equipment, the country's defense ministry announced on April 30. According to media reports, Israel is thought to have eight U.S.-produced Patriot systems that currently work alongside its own air defenses, most famously the Iron Dome, a short-range interceptor designed to shoot down rockets, mortars, and drones. It also deploys the David's Sling system, designed to shoot down medium-range projectiles, and the Arrow, a long-range system designed to intercept ballistic missiles.

Radical ideology, and in particular Critical Race Theory, has captured our public health system. That is not an overstatement; it is simply a fact, and you better get used to it. It has become not just useless, but dangerous to your health and our country. We shouldn't be surprised, and most of you aren't. It has been getting more obvious every day, but given how radical the change has been and how sweeping the scope of that change, it's useful to provide an overview. That is what Twitter user and writer Michael Young has done, through his account Wokal Distance. He has done an

Cops in riot gear descended onto the University of California, Los Angeles campus, breaking up a pro-Palestinian encampment and detaining multiple people. California Highway Patrol officers made their move at UCLA early Thursday morning, busting through barricades to dismantle a wooden wall erected by activists protesting the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip. They also tore down tents in the area, which was littered with broken pieces of wood and damaged furniture. Some of the activists fought back, spraying officers with fire extinguishers while refusing to leave the UCLA grounds -- even after police had spent hours ordering them to disperse over a loudspeaker.

It's not exactly the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima, but it was damned satisfying to watch. Pro-Palestinian protesters at the City College of New York had removed the American flag from the flagpole at the start of their protests two weeks ago and raised the Palestinian flag. After the NYPD swarmed the CUNY campus and began arresting dozens of protesters, several cops began to take down the Palestinian flag. They were none too gentle about it either. Then, NYPD Deputy Commissioner, Operations Kaz Daughtry and several other officers raised the American flag.

Ex-NPR senior editor Uri Berliner appeared again on Chris Cuomo's NewsNation show on Tuesday night. “I think that really, NPR has a lot of soul searching to do about representing the country at large. Being a publicly funded news organization and really trying to represent this country in all its great diversity and viewpoints.” It should seem obvious that NPR is impervious to "soul searching" since they didn't want Berliner to work there any more after he raised his questions about viewpoint diversity. Cuomo asked about morning host Steve Inskeep and then other people at NPR saying Berliner "cherry-picked" his stories and got it wrong. "Do you think in retrospect that

Senior Democrats are reportedly in "panic mode" about the violent demonstrations that have broken out across America's college campuses as the consequences of the conflict in the Middle East imperil Joe Biden's chances of re-election. Protests against Israel's war against Hamas have spread like wildfire over the past few days, with major demonstrations taking place at some of the country's top universities, including Columbia and University College of Los Angeles (UCLA). According to a report from Axios, Democrats in Congress are increasingly concerned about the optics of said demonstrations and fear it could even cost them the White House:

After weeks of bias intimidation by Hamas supporters aimed at Jewish students and faculty, including Khymani James, an encampment leader who had talked to Columbia University officials about killing Jews, the Biden administration’s Department of Education, with the inevitability of a rigged slot machine in Reno, is launching a “civil rights investigation” into the university for “extreme anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, and Islamophobic harassment”. The complaint comes from ‘Palestine Legal’, the same group providing advice to the encampment protesters. Elite higher education in America -- long unquestioned as globally preeminent -- is facing a perfect storm. Fewer applicants, higher costs, impoverished students, collapsing standards, and increasingly politicized and mediocre faculty reflect a collapse of the university system. The country is waking up to the reality that a bachelor's degree no longer equates with graduates being broadly educated and analytical. Just as often, they are stereotyped as pampered, largely ignorant, and gratuitously opinionated. No wonder polls show a drastic loss of public respect for higher education and, specifically, a growing lack of confidence in the professoriate.
