Walgreens Closing Chicago Location Due
to Massive Theft, Local Political Leaders
Who Enable the Crime Are Outraged

Walgreens has announced that it is closing a store in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago. They claim that the store is losing upwards of a million dollars a year to theft, so the reason for the closure is no mystery. They say that this particular store loses more in theft than any other store. And yet… The political leaders in Chicago, who allow thieves to run wild, are angry at Walgreens. They caused this, with their soft on crime policies, yet they are mad at Walgreens for closing the location.

So.... the Political Leaders, with much ballyhoo and fanfare, should put up THEIR OWN money, rent the now-empty store, and open THEIR OWN Pharmacy. Let THEM see how that works out! (Of course they won't do that..... they just want to gripe and grift.)

Walgreens is a business. The point is to make a profit. In a land of unpunished, unrepentant thieves....with no police help, that isn't possible --- so they leave. And the enablers are shocked - because they are stupid and thieves at heart themselves.

Just shows how far from reality— economic, evidentiary, even human— these guys are. “Walgreens got enough damn money,” seems to be the street “wisdom.” Since we’re not talking about Edison Park or Kenilworth, we can assume race might factor. Dr. Google reports large-scale meta-analyses show that black individuals report higher self-esteem than white individuals starting in adolescence, a gap that persists into adulthood. So if I swipe a bottle or two of lotion it’s because I’m worth it. Overcompensation, in other words. For what, your guess is a good as mine.

Just shut it down and leave. After the Dem voters have to drive to a neighboring state for their medications, perhaps then the politicians will take crime seriously.

Let's face it: If this store is closed where will the thieves have to go to continue stealing? Is it fair to make these thieves have to drive further to get to a place where they can steal.?

People focus on the "free food" antics of Mamdani but places like Chicago and Los Angeles have allowed the local "teens" to rob stores blind and broke until they finally give up and close. You have to travel for miles now to buy food? Boo hoo.

The regime in Tehran trembles not because of American bombers or sanctions alone, but because its greatest nightmare has always been the Iranian people themselves. While the chattering class in Washington and on cable news wrings its hands over “escalation” and “doom,” they miss the most powerful weapon President Trump has quietly at his disposal: Trump’s Silent Liberation Army—the millions of freedom-loving Iranians ready to reclaim their nation. Recent uprisings in Iran, building on the spirit of the 2022 Mahsa Amini protests and exploding into nationwide fury by late 2025 and early 2026, have shown the world the depth of popular discontent.

On Sunday morning, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche appeared on Fox News Sunday Morning Futures opposite host Maria Bartiromo. The Acting AG was there to discuss ongoing investigations into the Russia collusion hoax around the 2016 presidential election, as well as election rigging in the 2020 presidential election. He had some very pointed comments, as well as some reasons as to why these investigations are taking as long as they are. Maria Bartiromo makes a good point here. While the GOP didn't have the upper hand for some of that time, hampering efforts at the federal level,

Louisiana Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy missed the runoff in the state’s GOP Senate primary Saturday, ending the reelection hopes of one of the few Senate Republicans who voted to convict President Donald Trump after the January 6 Capitol protest. Trump-backed Rep. Julia Letlow and Louisiana Treasurer John Fleming are now set to advance after no candidate received the majority needed to avoid a June 27 runoff. Cassidy’s defeat is not complicated. In 2021, Cassidy joined Democrats and a small group of establishment Republicans in voting to convict Trump during the second impeachment trial.

It has taken a few days for the climate headbangers to work out the best spin to counter the recent IPCC ruling that the RCP8.5 computer model pathway is “implausible”. Necessary work of course, since the shock ruling from the UN’s main climate science body about a set of impossible assumptions destroyed the validity of almost every mainstream Net Zero-supporting climate scare story published over the last 15 years. First out of the traps was Adam Vaughan of the Times, who said that the most apocalyptic worst-case scenario had been ruled out “thanks to the rapid rise in renewable energy”.

Although many of these Jewish progressives might claim to be Zionists, they seem to be attempting to put a "friendly face" to Zionism -- one that could be described as "soft Zionism" or "Zionism-lite." They appear to find the Jewish religion "offensive," and instead promote an airbrushed "politically correct" expression of social justice, more to their liking. Many also undertake to "remain committed to two safe and secure states – Israel and Palestine – as the most viable solution to the present situation." Cuba's communist leaders are facing some tough times. The Cuban people are getting good and tired of no electricity, no decent food, no garbage pickup, and the prospect of a jail term if they complain about any of that, and yet the people are taking to the streets anyway. This has to be making the remnants of the old Castro regime nervous. Also making them nervous is President Trump's removal by force of a key Cuban ally, Venezuelan strongman dictator Nicolás Maduro, and the subsequent shutting off of the Venezuelan oil that was helping keep Cuba's energy economy afloat. Americans may be paying a hidden “lawsuit tax” through higher insurance premiums and higher prices for everyday goods, as trucking companies face rising litigation costs from staged crashes, massive settlements and “nuclear verdicts.” Industry groups and lawsuit abuse critics told the Daily Caller News Foundation that costs from frivolous lawsuits and rising settlements are being passed down to consumers through elevated insurance premiums, higher transportation costs and inflated prices for everyday goods. They argue those costs are especially hitting the trucking industry, where rising commercial insurance premiums can ripple through freight rates, grocery bills, consumer goods and even personal auto insurance premiums. “Abusive litigation practices against the trucking industry

Back in December, I wrote about a holster protecting a gun from a vehicle fire. That holster, made by Falco, introduced me to the company and the fact that they use heavy-duty leather for many of their offerings. But they also use kydex for some products, which has some advantages, too. Leather is sexier, in my book, but kydex is lighter and thinner. So what do you do? Well, hybrids exist that use both, and Falco has a few already, but in a press release, they announced four more offerings.
